Silly me. I thought I had a 4k TV with my Samsung, 2016, quantum dot SUHD TV and Samsung 4k bluray player. So silly. I bought this TV and the LG 4k UHD player and... good Lord... this TV is an absolute thing of beauty. I may never go back to the Samsung models. LG OLED is where it's at for 4k.

Bought this after doing a lot of research. Like the idea of OLED, compared to Samsung's latest quantum dot. The OLED reviews and a visit to the store convinced me that a LG OLED is what I wanted. The store demo was directly under a bright flourescent light, yet apppeared plenty bright. The were lots of comments regarding OLED maybe not being as bright enough in a room with lots of light, but both at the store and at home, I have not had any issues. If you want it a little brighter, there are setting you can change that make a difference. I read a review that showed how they adjusted the settings and made mine match that. I short, the picture is phenominal. I debated quite a while between the OLED B7p and the OLED C7P... ultimately I paid 200 more and got the C7P to avoid buying a sound bar. The sound from the TV is very good, with some noticeable bass and overall quality that my top of the line Samsung that is now 10 years old, doesn't have. I paid $1798.00 at Best buy and feel its been well worth it. If you can afford the entry price, I would highly recommend it.

Full disclosure, this is my first new TV in about 8 years and it replaced a 50" Plasma, so to a degree any TV would look amazing in comparison at this point. But everything just looks 100 times better on this TV. the colors, blacks and whites are crisp and true. I've tried out movies ranging from Rogue One, to Avatar, down to something as simple as Hot Fuzz, and they all look amazing. But one of my favorite features is a little one, the LG menu system. It's simple and gives me access to all of my media apps. The controller has quick buttons for Netflix and Amazon video, which my kids use daily. Also, the sales people were great. They helped me out for almost an hour as I was comparing different TVs, before settling on this one. It was a stress free experience and I really appreciated that.

After looking at and comparing dozens of different brands and models of TV’s, I kept coming back to the LG OLED. The clarity is so crisp and the colors are stunning and spot on. The setup was easy and first time navigating was simple to figure out. The sound is perfect and I don’t even have to set it up with my other systems to get the volume and control that I like. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for one in this size and price range.

Wow! I played my PS4pro (4K HDR version) on a 4K HDR fancy Samsung for a year and replaced it with this LG. Wow, shockingly better everything! OLED blackness, HDR brightness, the pixel clarity, as well as the ability to have both Game mode (faster pixel updates) and HDR on at the same time is totally worth the extra cost. Double the cost but triple the TV. Worth every penny and glad I bought the 5 year plan. (To Bestbuy: the 5 year plan was too expensive!)

What an amazing television. Very crisp. Clean setup. Dolby Vision capable (which I never heard of until I got this TV). The sound does not suck. Although you'll want a sound bar at least if you are picky about it. I spent a lot of time looking at reviews and this model was in nearly all of them, many having it as the top rated model. You won't regret the purchase.

What a wonderful experience. Based on recommendation from Magnolia sales associate, I purchased a Carbon HDMI cable. Geek squad came out and installed the TV and connected our Cable (AT&T fiber optic) directly to the TV. The high def channel programs look incredible. Blackest Blacks. Amazingly vivid scenery. Netflix (using the SMART TV features) series like Ozarks, Mad Men, etc are so vivid -- the characters seem to pop out from the screen. WOW

Price for this LG OLED has come down quite a bit compared to previous years. This TV performs and deserves a five star rating. The blacks are perfect and really accentuate the vivid colors and crisp pictures. The Magic Remote is intuitive to use along with the onscreen menu. Smart TV over Wifi is fast and easy to use with the voice command feature on the remote. Searching has never been this easy. I highly recommend this model.

I bought this TV specifically for the Xbox One X. I love getting the little “HDR” badge that pops out at the top right when I play an HDR Game or movie. I’m now spoiled and want all of my content to be 4k HDR! My only issue with the TV is the ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) it can be annoying when it happens. Do some googling and you’ll come across lots of forums talking about it. Basically when there is more than 60% of the screen that is bright white it will automatically dim the picture until the image changes. This cannot be disabled (yet) It doesn’t wait very long either. A good example to test this (if you’re a gamer) is to play a Bethesda game. The Bethesda logo animation is mostly white and the TV will dim within seconds. You could also imagine this would be annoying when watching a movie at times when a bright white fade happens; however, this is not a common occurrence and I have yet to experience with a movie. It’s also not the brightest TV but it’s bright enough! Other than the ABL, the OLED C7 is a great TV. Everything about it is easy and fluid. It recognizes when I’m playing a Game or watching a movie and will switch the picture options I set (between “game mode” and “Standard mode”) which is fantastic! The OS is nice and fast and the magic remote comes in handy every now and then. There is some setup you’ll have to do to get the best picture quality and HDR but that goes with all TVs.

This TV was purchased for my game room - equipped with the PS4 Pro and the XBOX One X. I haven't updated my HD (1080p) TV since 2010, so when I made my 4K console purchases, I knew a 4k gaming TV was inevitable. So I saved what I could and found myself able to spend in this bracket without breaking the bank. The TV base was straight forward and easy to assemble: 4 screws and a plate cover. Be sure to follow directions and unbox/setup this TV with another person. The top half of the TV is all (thin) screen and looks very fragile. Upon powering the TV set, I immediately saw the difference in image quality - something that made me an instant believer in 4K. Warm, vivid colors and the obvious high definition could be seen in the TV's screensaver. For not using a soundbar or home theater system, the LG's TV speakers still deliver plenty of sound in a 10'x10' space. Using the remote is simple to use - I have a 1080p LG TV that has similar remote functionality, so it's nothing too foreign to me. The opening tutorial was simple to follow and I got my wi-fi connected as well as my streaming apps registered. Remember, apps like Netflix or Hulu will perform only as good as your internet provider and connections. At this point, I am very satisfied with my purchase. This is a good TV that performs very well for the price - you get what you pay for. I do feel bad that this is a 4K TV restricted to gaming; however, I would definitely purchase another set for the main family area. Now if Best Buy could only raffle one over to me.... Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping Season. Be kind to one another.

I love this OLED TV. Fantastic Picture. Picture Quality is far above the best Plasma Screens. Viewing angle lets you see from almost anywhere with out picture fade. So Far the only drawback is that the LG Remote seems hard to use. But then I mainly use my FIOS remote most of the time.

This is a great Product. The OLED gives a fantastic picture. The interface is also easy to use and easy to adjust settings if you want. I liked having Netflix easily accessible. I also have an Apple TV set up on the tv. All easy to access and displays are excellent. I have it in a room that can be very bright in the light of the day and there is some glare on the TV but I resolved this quickly by adjusting how the light was coming in from the windows. Over all this was not a problem. The sound was very good on this model with lots of adjustments and settings. I did add on a Bose sound bar later. There are no setting on the Bose, but the sound is just great! The Bose has a dialogue button that enhances the sound when people are talking. Great for news and talk shows. Everything is working well and easy to operate.

We love our LG OLED. Picture perfect, dynamic color and great for watching movies. We were a little worried about burning into the screen as we had read a review regarding this. However, being aware is the answer to this. You can refresh the screen anytime and we do it occasionally just as a precaution. I highly recommend this tv.

This TV is amazing. I was very scared about the burn in that these are said to have, but I haven’t had a problem at all with that. Like the title says. This tv has amazing picture quality. Very happy with this purchase. Also, I do a bit of gaming. So this tv paired with an Xbox One X can’t get much better. The only thing I wish I would have done differently was buy the 65 in instead of the 55 in.

This OLED is a very nice product. The one draw back is the fact that the LG TV technology has outpaced the available services in the area. For example Direct TV has a limited number of 4K channels, and so we are limited to 1080i for most of our TV shows. Nonetheless, the quality of the picture is superior to any TV that I have owned. Plays best in a low light environment. Blacks are wonderful.

I purchased this TV almost a year ago. The tv's picture is flawless. It has perfect colors and blacks. It's made me rediscover TV and video games. I've never had a TV this vivid. Nothing compares to it. The only negative is the sound but that is solved by hooking up to my Onkyo 5.1 surround with 5 speakers and one subwoofer.

Outstanding picture. I have looked at many TVs for many years waiting for something that was significantly better than my excellent Samsung from 10 years ago. Finally found the OLED to truly bring the picture quality to a new level. Have had it for 2 months. Easy to set up. Remote is decent but I use a programmable universal remote for all my stuff. When it went on sale, I jumped on it.

Best picture quality i have ever seen. Tv doesn’t have a backlight so tv can get extremely dark. It is also quite bright. HDR content really showcases the power of the tv. Dark blacks while having bright segments where needed. Tv also has fantastic response time with only 21ms in game mode. Even supports 120hz at 1080 for high quality pc gaming. Would recommend this tv to anyone.

I am really impressed with the overall quality of the picture. Blu-ray and HDR disks are amazing. And 4K content from Netflix or Amazon Prime is also very excellent. We do have some issue with, particularly Warriors games have scaling issues. We are using a fairly old Tivo Box for processing Comcast HD content. Going to try a Xfinity HDR to see if that helps. I am also having a sound sync problem. Some shows have the sound and video get out of sync. I have upgraded the firmware on the TV and the receiver, but it did not solve the problem. If I can sort out the the sound issue and if the Xfinity HDR (or a new Tivo Bolt) improve the sports, I would rate this five stars.
