Prior reviews were accurate and we noticed this while viewing competing TVS at Best Buy store: the picture is great. Vivid colors are viewable throughout the family room. We bought a upgraded sound bar and the pair work great. Install was straight forward and we have enjoyed this past month since purchasing it.

Excellent sharpness, contrast, color, and blacks. I was looking to purchase a Samsung QLED until I was shown the LG OLED. Sales associate took his time demonstrating the differences of the tvs. Everything about the LG is great plus the ease of the smart set up, blue tooth, internet, and pairing with my computer.

Initially disappointed with picture until the "ECO" mode was turned off - the picture colors and brightness have been excellent since then. The connection to Netflix and Amazon Prime are easy to use and work well. Watched the "Martian" using a UHD Blue Ray player, and the picture quality was stunning. You notice the true black colors on the night scenes with stars - very realistic. All external video signals (Blue ray, Cable, Computer, Receiver) go to the TV using all 4 HDMI ports. To use the 7.1 sound system, I connect the sound via the optical port to the receiver - works well.

My wife and I love this T.V. for its perfect picture clarity and brilliant color! This system is easy to set up with step by step instructions programmed in the T.V. format! The sound is great thru my blue-ray home theater. Best T.V. I've ever owned! Happy I purchased this product!

I put a lot of effort into researching TVs prior to purchasing this model. I had never expected to buy an LG TV but have had good luck with their appliances. CR gave this TV their highest rating. After seeing it in the store and comparing it to last years model I pulled the trigger. I am impressed with the smart TV features and love to use YouTube on it. The processing power is not lacking. Other features such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon all work very well. The picture quality is outstanding, and any 4K content is just amazing. The audio is also better then I expected from a TV set, much better then I have had in the past.

What an amazing unit! Picture is incredible, easy to set up, navigation is simple, connections abundant. Although it could use an output. Nothing is perfect, but very happy.

Wanted to upgraded my TV for my man cave but didn’t want to buy just any tv. Did my research and it can down to this model or the 70 inch by the same company. Used Consumer Report to compare models and found that the 55 inch had a better rating and a cheaper price. There has not been a single person who sees the tv for the first time that doesn’t say WOW look at that picture. There are plenty of features like Netflix, Amazon, etc that comes preloaded with most Smart TVs but I bought it for the picture and I am very pleased. Also at the time I got the tv LG was giving away free sound bar which made it even better.

I bought this LG OLED TV a few weeks ago. Great looking, super clear pic, and couldn't have been easier to set up. Signed into my Netflix/Hulu accounts, plugged in my PS4, and I'm off to 4k land!! I bought it "open box" at over 50% off and I couldn't be happier!!

The picture quality has been outstanding. The sharpness and color have been a noticeable upgrade from my LCD 4k television. The remote took some getting used to. The TV has been tested with video games, movies, and regular TV programming and has yet to disappoint me.

The picture is unbeatable - If you have 4k content you'll be blown away. Some 1080p content reminded me of the days of watching SD TV channels on the new 1080p displays with noticeable grainy picture. The biggest concern and reality of OLED is image burn. When you spend $1700+ on a TV you want it to work flawlessly. I saw the reviews, concerns and risks with OLED and said this wouldnt happen to me. Well it happened. I always turn my TV off, never had a stagnant screen, dont watch the news with the consistent boarders, etc. However, after talking to LG they are superb at resolving issues and making sure you're happy with their products. Long story short, great picture, limited 4k content, some tech issues but they'll get resolved. Great purchase and dont regret a thing! Make the jump to OLED you'll thank yourself later.

I knew picture quality was excellent but It was a surprice having a great user interface and a very nice remote. The user interface is very straightforward and easy to understand. There is not lag or annoying ads. The remote has a pointer that help you choosing whatever you want faster. Also the remote works with my Firetv. I bought an armony ultimate but still in the box because factory remote is great. Please do yourself a favor and watch a review about the interface and remote. It is way ahead the competition.

Not only a great picture, very ease to operate. Magic wand makes it very easy to navigate the web and provides many other program options. A must have tv. jrf

This TV is more than I imagined. It is incredible. The blacks are so black and the setup is fun and easy. This was a big purchase for us and we are very satsified.

This is my 4th LG TV over a 7 year period but, it’s my first OLED. The picture is amazing regardless of viewing angle. HDR is so much better than I had expected. I love WebOS and find it a pleasure to use. Build quality and industrial design are excellent.

Packaged well, set-up fairly easily although guide could use a little help, but the picture color, vivid clarity, sharpness at any viewing angle, especially head-on is just spectacular and no apparent need for a supplemental sound bar. Sound is movie quality.

The TV is outstanding. Rated the best 55" by Consumer Reports. I did not look at Consumer Reports before buying the TV. The people at the Best Buy Store were very knowledgeable about the TV's. There was no pressure to buy. On the contrary we were made to feel very comfortable. We left the store. Did some thinking and a few days later decided to return to the store and buy, We saw a Best Buy Holiday $500 off if we bought online by Sunday. So we Did. The delivery was a few days later with very nice people. That evening the Geek Squad came to install. The experience was excellent.

This is the best tv I ever owned. The picture is spectacular and the blacks are great. it also has very good sound for a flat panel. The remote is super easy to use and the on screen tutor is excellent. Can't say enough good things about this tv.

I purchased the 55" after thorough research. Read lots of reviews and Q & A's. I am very pleased. I'm a senior citizen and primarily use a Spectrum cable box for my content feed. The picture quality is noticeably better than the traditional 1080p. The sound is not as good as the true 5 speaker surround sound that I have, however, if it ever fails I know that the sound from this TV would be very adequate. I had Best Buy install the OLED because I didn't trust myself. Lastly, I originally purchased a Samsung and needed service. I contacted them 3 times and they flunked the service test on all 3 attempts. I contacted LG service once and was very pleased. Very pleased all considered!

The LG 55in OLED provides the most fantastic picture with clarity that is just totally unreal. We are so pleased with the HD reception and are now pursuing 4K hookup with Directv to obtain 4K shows. Outstanding color of the picture is really great.
