    Unboxing instructions

I watched your online unboxing instructions for installing the tv base. I had it down pat. Remove the two top styrofoam pieces and insert them in the box. Lay the other on top of the box then lay the tv down and install the base. I open the box and the instructions are totally different. The top Styrofoam is ONE piece and looks like it goes in the box at an angle. Then pick up the bottom of the box with the tv inside and lay it on the box. Not sure about this and I'm not wanting to break a $3,000 tv. Video needs to be updated for your new tv's as the printed instructions that come with the tv is not clear.

Nothing but perfection from the time the television was taken out of the box. Ultra easy setup. Factory settings are great, so I have not bothered to change any of them. Added a lower grade LG soundbar and it simply enhanced the sound quality. Have had for one month and would buy again in a heartbeat. Glass cover gives a very upscale and sleek look.

Horrible Upscaling and Motion Issues :(

Let me start by saying I really wanted to love this oled tv I really did.... In short this tv is great if your Only planning to watch 4K Dolby/HDR movies or anything set in deep space while seated in a dark room. For anything else like cable tv the upscaling is not good at all. There is so much judder/blur and pixilation that it makes the picture almost unwatchable. I had the tv for close to 45 days and in that time I’ve tried every combo of motion settings possible to try make the picture look watchable with no luck. I even had the cable company come out to check my lines and my signal was perfect. Now I know most cable is only 720p or 1080i but my 2-3 year old Samsung KS8000 which was considered a mid tier tv upscales so much better then this oled which is supposed to be a top of the line tv and there is no excuse for that. Not for this kind of money! I decided to exchange for the Samsung QLED Q8fn and I love it because the it handles motion and upscaling much better then the oled. It’s also so much brighter and has much more color and pop. As I said in the beginning I really wanted to love the oled but my eyes don’t lie. On the positive side in the close to 45 days I had this tv there was absolutely no sign of burn in! I hope this review is helpful to people concidering going with the oled.

That's terrible to know that the television didn't meet your expectations. To have to change your previous television to the now current one is unsettling. Happy that you were able to alert us on this issue and appreciate the review. Thanks! ^ CS LG

    No warranty support

When it works, picture is great. After 7 months and it stops working LG warranty service means nothing. All they tell you is that you need to wait while they look for someone to fix it. If Best Buy was not able to perform service on this, I would have a $2000 paper weight. 10 days, not a call from LG. Geek Squad is heroes. LG is a loser. Never again!

    Great Picture, when it works!

Purchased the 55' C7 in November of 2017, image started flickering 6 months later, thought it was Comcast but turned out to be a failed main board, would get a "No Signal" error message. After replacing the board in July, it's now doing the same thing in Sept and I have 6 weeks warranty left. Questioning my purchase....
