Almost ready to return it, or just throw it in the trash. Remote is DIFFICULT, ANTI-INTUITIVE. CAPTIONS are CRITICALLY IMPORTANT for us. LG channel doesn't have them AND THIS TV requires programming them on EVERY MOVIE, EVERY EPISODE, as master CC DOESN'T WORK. Typing in a search, DOESN'T ALWAYS RESPOND - SUPER FRUSTRATION.

For those captions, just hit the Settings button on your remote, go to Accessibility, and then Closed Captions to make sure the master CC is turned on. If you still can’t see the captions on LG Channels, it might be because the broadcast source isn’t providing them. White light glowing up from bottom.

I bought this TV based on it having the best picture of all the tvs in this price range on the shelf. Less than a month and a half later there's white light glowing up from the bottom. It's past the laughable 2 week return period. I guess the companies got their money for this cheap garbage.

Bad idea tv 55” TV

At the time I had walked both the 75 inch LG TV for the living room works perfectly in there.
Now, when I got the 55 inch on the same day at the same time, both bought with Cash, they do not have warranties unless you want to pay for them and instead of them explaining that before you buy something from them, it’s too late. I bought the TVs brought them home got them hooked up. Everything‘s working fine. I noticed that the 55 inch TV is a little too big and I was wanting to go to the 50 inch when I called to ask them for an exchange they told me I only had 15 days and I was at the 16 day mark and said there was nothing I could do except come buy a new TV……… most i’m professionalservice I have ever had buying something over a grand. No one reached out to me with my confusion or the fact that I was upset they did not care.

Great tv bought it for my bedroom easily connected to internet great picure quality easy to navigate, remote is a lil to small for all the buttons but over all i would recommend this TV for price and quality picture and sound and ease of set up.

I've been using this TV for a little while now, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. The picture quality is definitely a major highlight—the 4K looks great, and the colors are really vibrant. For the price, you're getting a fantastic visual experience.
However, where it falls a bit short for me is the sound. While it's decent on its own, I've noticed some issues, especially when I try to connect external speakers via an optical cable. There's a definite lag or a slight delay that's noticeable and can be pretty annoying, particularly when watching movies or shows.
I was able to find a partial fix by messing with the settings and using the "LG Sound Sync" option. It helps, but it doesn't completely eliminate the problem. It's a bit of a bummer to have to troubleshoot a new TV like that.
So, my take is this: if you're primarily focused on a great picture and are okay with using the TV's built-in speakers or a sound system that doesn't rely on optical, this is a solid choice. But if you're like me and were hoping to easily integrate a soundbar or receiver via optical, just be aware that you might run into some audio sync issues.

Easy to setup, reasonably priced. Picture quality is very good. Connects to wifi easily. For small rooms it is a great fit. For the price you will not disappoint.

Great picture. Incredible value. Phenomenal set up with easy to make adjustments. Should’ve bought the 65”. Sound quality isn’t the best, but that’s a moot point.
