Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the picture quality, easy setup, and price of the 55" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the excellent image, great picture, and good sound quality. The TV is also considered to be a great value for the price. However, customers are negative about the remote control, lack of apps, lack of Bluetooth, durability, and color. They find the remote controller difficult to use, are disappointed by the limited app selection, and wish the TV had Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, some customers have experienced durability issues and find the colors to be not very bright.

I bought this tv to replace the Vizio tv that died after 4 years. The sales representative recommended it over other more expensive models. My recommendation, always buy the protection plan. I was fortunate to have made that decision with the Vizio. They don't build them like they used to.

Great picture and sound. Coming from Samsung TVs and wasn’t happy when the last one died after a short life so switched to LG and am happy so far. My only complaint would be that you can’t load the HBO max app. You can watch on it by streaming through another device but it’s kind of pain.

I was going back and forth between the LG and Samsung models. The TV I was replacing was an LG, 10 years old. Never had a problem with it, so I went with the LG again. Glad I did. Wonderful picture and good sound. Like the built in WiFi, makes streaming easier. Great purchase.

Good product, flimsy legs. Purchased for bonus room for the kids. Good picture quality. Only problem is the flimsy plastic legs - the leg broke during install had to search and find replacement legs at a cost of $45. If you are installing on wall should not be an issue.

A Weak 4 Out of 5-Stars: Too Much Config Required

It's a good deal for the price. I took two stars off because there's a lot of calibration that has to be done with the image settings to get rid of the backlight bleed. But once you do you'll be pretty satisfied. It should come with a guide on how to tune out the backlight bleed because it's a problem that plagues most backlit displays due to the technology used to light the panel. But for someone who knows what they're doing you can turn down the backlight a bit and tune the brightness setting to around 60-70 brightness in a darkroom and it's not an issue anymore. As for the motion setting I'd set it to user defined and to 9 because 10 provides too much smoothing and gives the soap-opera effect which is annoying. So again, more calibrating to get things to where they should be. So I'd say 4 out of 5 stars because it's a bit better than average but not enough to be Excellent due to how much you've gotta do to get it to where it's a nice experience. The LG 55" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV gets a weak 4 not a strong 4-stars because yes it's good but it requires a lot of user input to get there. But once it's there you're getting your money's worth.

So far it's been good, had a different brand and exchanged for the LG. I also went from a 42" to a 55", the football games look sooo much better, what took me so long. The picture is so clear and crisp. I'm not the best with technology but this tv snd remote has been easy for me.

Love this TV. Can’t beat the value. I haven’t played 4K content on it yet but even the 1080 content is leaps and bounds better on here than on my 9 year old Samsung LED. I don’t use the smart TV features so i can’t speak to that, but content from my non 4K Apple TV looks amazing.

Overall, this tv performs well as a bedroom tv, but wouldn’t want it in my living room. The picture quality is good, but not great. Brightness is adequate. The lg App Store is lacking a few of my favorite apps, which means I have to use a roku/Apple TV/android tv box in addition to it. That’s the biggest negative for me.

I had originally set out to get the 60" version but everyone sold out of that particular model on Black Friday. This was $50 less and only slightly smaller. Don't believe all the hype on Samsung, I've had both and LG is my brand going forward. Better quality and decently priced.

    A Great TV Running WebOS

This is a great television running WebOS. The number of apps available makes this a great tv for cord-cutters. The picture is crisp and the sound is acceptable. The number of apps available in the LG store is a little light, but there is probably something there for everyone.

Love my new 4k TV. This TV looks great and there are multiple ways to watch it for like Sports, Games, movies etc. The is not lag for the video games. Some games you will have to make the games brighter by changing thr RPC on you Xobx. Otherwise this is a fantastic buy.

This is first time I’ve purchased an LG tv and I must say its quality picture and sound are equally as good as our VISIO TVs. We were told with today’s TVs that we would need a sound bar but not with this tv. We’re glad we purchased this 55” LG model.

I bought this TV and a Samsung 55" at the same time. While this TV is bright and clear, I found the picture quality of the Samsung slightly better. The WebOS interface is nicer than the interface on the Samsung though. Cannot attest to sound quality as I am using an LG soundbar system.

This is a great TV and a very good value but make sure you list everything you want in a TV and compare it to the particular model being offered. For example, I forgot to look for Bluetooth which is present in UN7300 but not in UN7000, the model I bought. Both the manufacturers and the distributors don't make comparisons easy.

I am pleased with the LG 55” TV. Great picture and incredibly inexpensive. I needed a bigger TV for my office and didn’t want to spend a whole lot. Perfect for my needs.

It is exactly what I needed. Because the price was so great on Early Black Friday Deal I was able to get a larger size than I originally expected. I went in the store and saw the picture in comparison to other TV's and I thought it was stellar. So far, I am very pleased.

Although its no OLED, this 55" 4K UHD is a banging deal for the money. Picture Quality is outstanding and its feature set is totally grown up. Speakers (Internal) are as good as you would expect but adding a sound bar is a definite way to get even more value.

Bought as a replacement tv for my bedroom. I like all the apps and features; my older tv didn't offer as much. I'm very pleased with my upgrade! I bought a 65 inch lg a few months ago so I decided to go with lg again for the bedroom also. No complaints so far.

Bought this tv for mom out of state so only had few days of actual use with her. Weight wise is a very light television so I'm concerned for cat jumping near it or hips hitting table it sits on and falling over. Quality of pic is great. Sadly d/t mom's cable service she'll end up having to use 2 remotes anyway.

Had a nice LG TV I was using as a computer monitor for work at home--until the screen got damaged. Bought this to replace it. The description says it's Alexa compatible, but I haven't figured out how to do that; the previous model was no problem with an Alexa App right on the TV. The picture is good quality.
