But the WEB OS selling point is of little value, it's not compatible with comcast streaming and I suspect most other cable or satellite providers. with internet access you get access to IP stations but nothing worth watching few movies. no local station or current news boradcasts

However, I have had Sony TVs for the past 4 years and the picture quality, resolution and upscaling just does not compete with the Sony TV. I returned the TV for a Sony X800H model that is only about $150 more. I think if you get to the OLED versions, the pricing and quality are similar but for a sub $1000, the Sony has a better picture and technology.
