    Decent TV for the price. I've been a happy Samsung customer for over a decade and finally needed to replace one of my older ones due to the lack of compatibility with HBO Max. I walked into BB and let a sales advisor know why I was in the market for a new TV ( purely because I want HBO Max and he recommended the LG over the Samsung since the specs were higher and it was cheaper ($30 savings plus LG was 55 inch vs 50 inch on the Samsung). After mounting the TV on the wall and turning it on for the first time I noticed it did not have HBO Max out of the box, no problem I'll download it.. nope. After a sadly quick Google search I learned that HBO Max is not available on any LG products due to a contract they signed with Samsung and some other vendors. TV gets 3 stars purely due to lack of apps. My untrained regular human eyes say Netflix looks the same on all modern TV's.
