Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the picture quality, easy setup, and price of the 55" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the excellent image, great picture, and good sound quality. The TV is also considered to be a great value for the price. However, customers are negative about the remote control, lack of apps, lack of Bluetooth, durability, and color. They find the remote controller difficult to use, are disappointed by the limited app selection, and wish the TV had Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, some customers have experienced durability issues and find the colors to be not very bright.

I am happy with this tv. The menus and controls are easy and intuitive. The picture looks good to me also. Purchased as an open box item this tv is pretty hard to beat for $350.

It's fast and has good definition. Don't like that when you turn the tv on it automatically opens apps bar. That doesn't let you change channels until you press exit.

Great picture. I like how all the apps are already installed on the tv. Just put my passwords in and it was ready to go. You can flip back and forth thru them with ease

Great tv for the price. 4K looks like 3D, plenty of extra web sites for tv, movies, and music. Improved sound perfect for low volume listening. Overall couldn't be happier!

Nice TV for the money. Easy set up. Clear picture and plenty of apps. Unfortunately, not all apps, so needed a Roku to get one app I wanted, but, not a big deal.

Cannot connect to wifi? SOLUTION IN REVIEW!

One very frustrating thing with this TV was the connection to WiFi. All devices that were connected to the router in the home, were able to get on the internet no problem. The TV however, connected to the home internet would not and could not download the user agreements, which without agreeing to limited the TV to cable only. Had to connect the TV to a mobile hotspot to download and agree to user agreements and download/update any apps on the TV such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. Re-connect to the home WiFi, after firmware update and checking firewalls and still- the TV shows error code -137 or -106, cannot connect to internet. THE FIX: Go to network settings, advanced network settings, and then change your DNS Server to: 8.8.8.8 problem solved! other than the couple of extremely frustrating hours spent figuring this out, TV is great and LG support is fantastic!

Great TV for the money. Bought on Black Friday sale. Good picture and no issues. Only down side is the plastic legs/stand that it comes with are pretty flimsy.

For the money, this is a good pick. The image won't blow you away, but for a 55" 4K tv for this price, it's as good as you can expect. We use it in a bedroom with just the internal speakers, and it's fine. The only negative points are firstly the stand broke immediately (this wasn't an issue because I was wall mounting it anyway), and secondly it can take a while to connect to the wifi. I got sick of that I ended up buying a Roku. LG Web OS also has an annoying feature that if you're not using a live TV service and only use the built in apps, you get loud static every time you turn it on. You can disable that, but it's not intuitive.

I have had this tv for a few weeks now and I am absolutely thrilled with it. It’s easy to operate and it’s really nice having so many streaming options available with just my remote, tv and account information. It took me about a half hour to get everything set up again once I took the tv out of the box. I recommend this tv and will be buying another one for our living room. As far as I’m concerned you can’t go wrong with an LG product. My first LG tv I bought in 2012 and I used it for years. My Mom still uses that tv and she loves it as much as I did.

LG has been producing some very good LED TV's in the 45-65 inch range and this UN7000 series unit is no exception. It exhibits vivid and dynamic colors, high contrast with deep blacks and performs well with fast action programs including sports. Perhaps one minor limitation is viewing angle as image quality does start to drop off as one increases the viewing angle which has been less noticeable with the 55" unit set up in our living room than with the 50" unit we mounted in our dining/kitchen area when viewing from behind the island when working in the kitchen. Overall a very good value and excellent TV for general viewing purposes. I would recommend both the 50" and 55" versions.
