It doesn't work with my cable provider and we've had to incur additional expense to purchase Apple TV. That would be ok, if the TV didn't shut off constantly and take several tries to get connected and on. We had a less expensive Roku TV before this one, and never had another problems. I wouldn't recommend this at half the price.

My brand new LG freezes up right out of the box!!!

The first day after installation and the first movie we watched, the TV froze up right before the conclusion of the movie. Not a fluke in day two we were watching another movie and again right before the conclusion of the movie the TV froze up. The Geek Squad has been called let’s see how they handle this brand new TV that is not working right out of the box!

Team poor viewing angle!

But the viewing angle, particularly in a dark room during dark scenes is atrocious. You have to be almost directly in front of the tv to make out any definition during those dark scenes. It's pretty much the only reason to hate the tv, but it's enough to get me to return it. So one star.

Wifi orbi issues

Impossible to use for gaming

The game setting is washed out and dark and there don't seem to be any options to manually adjust picture settings like brightness, sharpness, etc. I can NOT use this for HD 4k gaming on a Switch or PC. I will have to return this as it's only good for watching TV.

Try Something Else

Thought I would try the LG. It is, by far, the worst streaming experience. Airplay appears not to work, the interface is brutal to use, and the lack of some mainstream options for streaming (HBO Max) aren't natively available.

Worst TV ever!

WebOS problems (User Agreement not downloading nor able to accept to enable important features). Go to YouTube and find how many videos regarding those issues. Thousands views and thousands more likes meaning there are lots... LOTS of people having issues! Also, construction quality is poor... you got what you pay for!

LG and Best buy...not a good pair.

LG tech support stated that I needed to buy a hard drive and USB cord to finish a software update that couldn't be sent over WIFI. Best Buy support said to return it and they were equally useless. Buyer beware, do not rely on Best Buy or LG support. You are on your own.

The legs are horrible. You can read the reviews online. We returned it and will be getting on that has more stable legs. If you’re going to mount the tv, then I would say it’s a decent tv.

OUT THE BOX
