Spend a little more and get a Samsung

The remote is a complete pain to understand. The directions don't even match the remote we have. Also...the sound does not match the picture many times. That is completely annoying. I will never buy an LG tv again.

LG 55in 4K 8000

I wanted to be able to toss the three remotes and just use one as well as Alexa. Not that easy. Alexa and the remote are slow to respond. I wanted to be able to download aps. LG does not allow ESPN. Not sure what I gained by replacing my old LG and old Apple TV.

Broken after less than a Year.

Sound quality isn’t great, I’d recommend a sound bar or some other external sound source. The 4k quality is what I would consider barely 4k but apparently it is. Our biggest problem with this TV was the line of pixels that completely went out in less than a year of use. Best Buy wouldn’t do anything and LG customer service was not much help because their only service center was at least hour away from us. They would not offer any kind of exchange. Needless to say I will not be buying an LG TV for a long time.

TV Came Cracked

Posted .Based on your experience, your disappointment is understandable. It is important to check your online purchase as soon as possible in the event there is anything missing or damaged, as retailers have a short return/exchange window. Outside of the return window, customers need to check with their manufacturer, however most will not cover delivery or physical damage. Keep this in mind next time you purchase a new TV. People! Save a headache, buy the Sony or Samsung!

The more I use it, and have to live around it, the more I hate it. I have even taken to cussing it. Yeah; an inanimate object! It is supposed to be a SMART T.V. but it does not even know how much it p***** me off on a day-to-day basis! Seriously; there is not ONE day that I don't mentally kick myself for not buying the the Sony or Samsung T.V.'s. A great example that one is often better off just spending a few extra bucks for something more worthwhile. Now lately the T.V. retaliates by changing up things on a daily basis when I HAVE NOT EVEN TOUCHED any of the settings. Didn't they make a movie about a possessed T.V.????!!!

Very disappointed

I’m obviously not going to open it and test it out cause I trust Best Buy. My mom recently opened her TV and set it up in her new house, disappointingly the tv had so many issues. The sound wouldn’t work often even on 80, there was black spots all over the tv and when I had called about it they said they can’t do anything about it because I don’t have a receipt and it’s past the X amount of days I had to return it. Super sad I wasted almost 700$ on this TV

Sound issues.

I've always purchased Samsungs. I do not like the OS on this tv. In addition, the sound goes out 1-2 times a day for about 10-15 sec In addition the screen to too bright.

Meh.

Also, every time the tv is powered off all the settings for picture and sound are reset to factory settings which is.... very annoying to say the least. Not happy about having to haul this thing back to the store.

Color resolution problem
