    I expected better from LG.

I bought this TV with the expectation of it functioning properly but unfortunately it did not. The first time I got this TV, I mounted on my wall, had it for about 5 hours and then it turned into a snowy screen. I thought maybe it was just a malfunctioning TV so I had the TV exchanged and gave it another chance. The second one ended up having a flickering backlight the next day after receiving it. I just exchanged for a different brand of TV altogether. The webOS is not a great OS as well. I expected better since it was essentially an android/google type OS but it was very visually cluttering and slow.

I really like LG products, so I bought this TV thinking it was going to be great. I saw the specs and the one that caught my eye was that it had Airplay. Everything was going great…. Until the TV started lagging a bit and the quality of the HD on the screen was horrible. It’s so pixelated… somewhat a distorted image. I was very disappointed because as an LG fan and for how much I’m paying for this TV, I expected a better image quality. If you’re okay with the image quality not being that crystal clear, then this TV ain’t too bad. It has WebOS which is top ten in softwares for TVs. But other than AirPlay, this TV leaves you wanting more.

Good value. This TV is super cool with a lot of features, and the picture is pretty stellar for the price. If you want a streamlined experience and you're primarily a streaming service user (not cable), however, this TV is about as clunky as an Android phone with a ton of useless software. I'd love to be able to customize the apps and sections on the home screen way more than the TV currently allows me to do. While I was able to turn off and remove a handful of things I know I'll never need, it was frustrating to find that I can't completely remove certain sections from the homepage, like the sports section. I also couldn't remove a handful of apps that I don't use. It would be helpful to be able to remove these so I can streamline my home screen and navigation experience instead of having to scroll through so many things I don't even have a subscription to use. It was extremely frustrating to find that the default settings for the home screen include ads - yes, ads - that play at full volume automatically while you're on your home screen. It took forever to figure out how to turn those off, and the whole time I was trying to figure that out, that was really souring my experience. Coming from never having a smart TV like this before, learning how to use this TV made me feel like someone who had never used technology before. The introductory training won first learning to navigate the TV settings and remote could have been much better. Some things take longer to load than I would like. Well that's not a big deal, it's the little things like this that shouldn't be noticeable on a high quality TV, and on this TV it's quite noticeable. I really like that the remote operates kind of like a wiimote, with a cursor you can move around on the screen by moving the remote. This makes navigating menus, selecting things, and using the keyboard somewhat easier, but it feels a bit cheap in operation and can be clunky from time to time or when trying to select very small buttons on the screen. I've had consistent issues with using the voice feature to tell the TV to open something or perform another function, and even with troubleshooting, the issues persist. However, it's usually faster for me to just scroll to and select what I'd like to watch instead of speak to my remote, wait for the TV to figure out what I said, and finally do what I want it to do. Finally, I use an external soundbar with this TV and my experience has been pretty good. It was not clear initially when I hooked up the soundbar that I could teach the TV to recognize the soundbar and therefore control the volume with the TV remote, so that was exciting to find out but that should have been more obvious within the sound settings then it was when I first switched over to using the soundbar. However, overall, I'm happy with how the TV works with the external soundbar. The soundbar is the same LG brand.

I recently purchased the LG 55” Class UQ9000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. 1. Product and Personal Experience: I want to start by emphasizing how impressed I am with this TV. The LG UQ9000 series has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I set it up, I was blown away by the picture quality, sound, and smart features it offers. 2. What I Liked: Picture Quality: The 4K UHD resolution and LED technology deliver stunning, crisp visuals. Colors are vibrant, and the clarity is unmatched. Smart webOS: The smart TV features are incredibly user-friendly. Navigating through apps and settings is a breeze, and the response time is fast. Sound Quality: The audio quality is impressive, and I love that it adapts to the content being played, enhancing the overall viewing experience. Design: The TV has a sleek and modern design that fits perfectly in my living room. 3. What I Disliked: Honestly, there's very little to dislike about this TV. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that it would be nice to have more HDMI ports, but that's a minor issue compared to all the fantastic features this TV offers. In conclusion, I highly recommend the LG 55” Class UQ9000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV to anyone looking for a top-notch television. It provides exceptional picture and sound quality, an intuitive smart interface, and an elegant design. I am thoroughly enjoying my viewing experience with this TV, and I'm sure you will too! Thank you, Best Buy, for offering such a great product. I am delighted with my purchase and can't wait to watch more movies and shows on this outstanding TV!

I recently purchased the LG UHD 55-inch TV, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The picture quality is stunning—sharp, vibrant colors with deep blacks that make every show and movie look lifelike. The 4K resolution really brings out the details, especially when streaming on Netflix and Disney+. The smart features are seamless and easy to navigate, with all the apps I need readily available. I also love the voice control feature, which makes searching for content so much easier. The TV's sound quality is surprisingly good, too, with clear audio that doesn't require additional speakers for a great experience. Setting it up was a breeze, and the sleek design fits perfectly in my living room. This LG TV offers fantastic value for its price—definitely a worthy investment for anyone looking for top-notch entertainment at home. Highly recommended!

First smart TV for me, and, WOW, I didn't know what I was missing! In addition to a beautiful picture, the added "smart" features are keeping me entertained, while I learn something new and wonderful every day. I spend probably too much time watching TV, and this new Samsung TV makes it much more enjoyable. I added a Samsung sound system, and, again, WOW, I didn't know what I had been missing!!

Great TV for the price! Was looking for a TV for the gym and really wanted the “magic remote” this TV Cheka all the boxes with apple AirPlay, Alexa/google built in and apple HomeKit. Mine is wall mounted with Sanus low profile and somos ray. My only complaint which there’s not much I can do about is the screen itself does not do well in rooms with light shining on it. While you can still see it can be a a chillante.

Really like it. I did some minor research to make sure it had the things i wanted I also checked it out in store before buying (and deciding) and liked that the clarity and brightness/vividness of the images was better than my other choice. So far, so good. I've had it a month and I'm happy. It was easy to set up, easy to navigate, and easy to use.
