Don't believe everything you read. A great price to performance value. This TV gives a sharp picture under a variety of lighting conditions in the home. With smart capability for streaming, screen casting and web browsing. The 55UQ90 also has a ton of other features and settings including multiple connectivity for additional gadgets. In addition, the 300 free streaming channels from LG offer some great TV viewing. Plug in a digital antenna for local channel viewing for more free TV. “Life’s Good”

You can connect to Bluetooth ,it has Alexa built in. Easy to setup. It's easy to mirror from any devices which supports Bluetooth.I am gong to buy LG's sound bar to attach to it.

I purchased this tv to replace a cheap tv I bought in our guest room. I’m writing this review to save somebody the headache. Pros: aesthetically built tv, picture is decent (as Expected) Cons. Apps load WAY to slow (my wifi is top notch, it’s the tv), the LG channels have a picture that even my grandfather would call bad and you can’t download major apps. ESPN, TBS, etc. Conclusion. It’s crazy to me that you can’t download major apps that everybody watches. That’s the major downfall of this tv. Lg should be ashamed of themselves for this nonsense. If you aren’t purchasing an Apple TV, fire stick etc this tv is basically pointless. I wish I would have just purchase another TCL Roku tv. Yes it’s better than this LG.

Upgrading to new TV

I saw this and the price was right and LG is a brand I know and wanted to support. The man that helped me out with this purchase provided great service and made the purchase easy. I've had the tv a couple months and I'm happy with it so far. The only issue I have is a message that keeps popping up from time to time with roku and universal remote. Sometimes it doesn't go away when I'm using my roku streaming services and then the times doesn't show at all. It's an issue.

The colors are beautiful and vibrant (though it does take some messing around in the settings to get it just right) and the features and remote are such a great value for the price of this TV. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a tv that’s less than $500 for 4K gaming and for movies. Also the viewing angles are amazing. I have this mounted up very high above my fire place and the picture looks great anywhere I look at it from.
