Its a decent budget-friendly option with good smart features and wide viewing angles. However, its contrast isn’t the best, so dark scenes may look a bit washed out. It’s a solid choice for casual watching but not the best for deep blacks or high-end performance.

I think Samsung and Vizio are way above LG in this range of tv’s. And LG’s remotes are crap, button setup Iam just not a fan

I purchased this tv November 19th 2024. The tv was great until today. Now it does not work at all. It turns on and off but does nothing else unfortunately. I have only had this tv for about two or three months.

I am so disappointed in this TV. I don’t know if it’s the model or if I am getting refurbished instead of new in the box. I have always had good luck with LG until now! I received a replacement for my 5 yr old LG in October through my extended warranty. The first replacement had multiple issues. Shutting off and rewinding on its own. Picture quality. Sound issues. I then got a second replacement 3 days ago. It seemed fine the first night and now it’s giving multiple issues as well. The picture quality is horrible no matter what I try! Some shows look decent and the next show will look like I’m watching an old tube TV.

I like that it can connect to Bluetooth speakers. I do not like the picture. It's not crisp enough for me. My 16 year old Sharp TV that just blew out had a better picture. The main page and setting are too much. The remote control is too much, too. I bought it today and it's going back.

My recomendation is “Don’t buy this TV”. This is a super terrible and slow TV. After you use it 1 month the Menu is going to super slow. Also I used this only for a month and the TV is turned off by itself. Now is not turning on and I will return to best buy today. Please before your desicioun for buying this TV, thing twice.

If your 55UT7000PUA is turning off by itself and not powering back on, try unplugging it for about 60 seconds, then pressing and holding the power button on the TV (not the remote) for 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.
