Many also appreciate the color accuracy and find the price reasonable for the features offered. Also I used this only for a month and the TV is turned off by itself. Now is not turning on and I will return to best buy today. Please before your desicioun for buying this TV, thing twice.

Hi there, OzcanS. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how important it is to have a smooth and reliable TV experience, and we’d like to assist you. If your 55UT7000PUA is turning off by itself and not powering back on, try unplugging it for about 60 seconds, then pressing and holding the power button on the TV (not the remote) for 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.

Netflix and prime do not cover the whole tv and the screen ratio is grayed out. I have been googling to try and fix and it keeps saying that the show is supposed to be that way. Not true we have different TV's it is working correctly on. My husband burned the box or I would take back.

Hi, Gina. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about dealing with display issues on your LG TV (55UT7000PUA) model, especially when streaming services like Netflix and Prime Video don’t fill the screen properly. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and ensure a smooth and seamless viewing experience. In many cases, the issue you're describing could be related to the aspect ratio settings or zoom options on the TV. Even if the screen ratio is grayed out, it may be locked into a specific setting that is preventing you from adjusting it. One thing we recommend is checking your TV's Picture Settings to ensure that the Aspect Ratio or Display Mode is set to 16:9 (the standard for most content) instead of Auto, which can sometimes cause the image to appear incorrectly. You may also want to double-check that the streaming app settings aren’t affecting the display.

We’d be happy to guide you through more specific troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue and help get your display working as it should.

Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will assist you in making the necessary adjustments. We appreciate your patience and look forward to helping you enjoy your TV as it was intended. ^Juvy LG

I recently purchased the LG 55” Class UT70 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV from Best Buy, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The picture quality is stunning! The 4K UHD resolution brings incredible clarity, vibrant colors, and sharp details to every scene, whether I’m watching movies, playing video games, or streaming shows. The HDR capabilities enhance the visuals even further, making the viewing experience truly immersive. The webOS interface is user-friendly and intuitive. Setting up the TV was a breeze, and navigating between apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube is seamless. The Magic Remote with its point-and-click functionality is a game-changer—it feels like using a mouse for your TV! Sound quality is surprisingly robust for a flat-screen TV. While it doesn’t replace a dedicated sound system, the built-in speakers deliver clear dialogue and decent bass, making it suitable for most content. The design is sleek and modern, with thin bezels that make the TV look premium and blend well with my living room décor. The build quality feels solid and durable. Another big plus is the variety of connectivity options, including multiple HDMI ports, USB ports, and built-in Wi-Fi. It makes connecting gaming consoles, soundbars, and other devices incredibly convenient. Overall, this LG TV is an excellent value for its price. If you’re looking for a feature-packed, high-quality smart TV, I highly recommend the LG 55” Class UT70 Series! Best Buy’s fast delivery and helpful customer service made the entire buying experience even better.

I recently purchased an LG TV, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and incredible clarity, making every viewing experience feel cinematic. The OLED technology truly sets it apart, delivering unparalleled sharpness and brightness. The smart features are a game-changer. With webOS, navigating apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube is incredibly smooth and user-friendly. The Magic Remote is intuitive, with a point-and-click feature that feels futuristic and fun to use. Sound quality is equally impressive. The built-in speakers produce rich, immersive audio, and Dolby Atmos support takes things to another level. However, pairing it with an LG soundbar made the experience even better! Another huge plus is the sleek and modern design—it looks gorgeous mounted on the wall or on a stand. It’s a perfect fit for any living room setup. Overall, LG has knocked it out of the park with this TV. Whether you’re watching movies, gaming, or just streaming your favorite shows, this TV delivers on every front. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch upgrade!

A really nice picture after adjustments. The initial set up of tv with remote is somewhat aggravating. I don’t use the lg smart apps at all. Apple TV handles those duties perfectly without constant hiccups and dealing with an aggravating remote control and slow processing. The highlight of this tv after spending about an hour fiddling with picture modes and adjustments is a beautiful picture on everything I watch. Excellent color and hdr performance. Native 4k content is absolutely gorgeous. Spectrum tv app utilizing app on Apple TV box is very good. Sports and motion handling are excellent. In my opinion once this tv has been properly adjusted it rivals more expensive tv’s from a picture quality perspective. Apple TV remote operates tv after everything is set up. Easy to use for everything. I could not recommend lg if you were buying for their smart tv platform. If you add 5 year warranty and Apple TV box you are around 520.00. I don’t think there is an easier system to use with better quality in industry. I can guarantee you that if you came in my man cave and you didn’t know price of this tv you would think its much more expensive based solely on image quality. I don’t like the lg remote or their smart platform but if you can get past these two shortcomings, in my opinion this is a true Best Buy on one criteria, image quality. I have a Sonos surround system so sound doesn’t matter to me. Apple TV takes care of all my apps and there remote control is easy to use. Can’t recommend this tv enough for color, panel brightness, image quality and hdr quality with a big assist from Apple TV box and remote.

LG is my go-to brand for tvs. I’m still using my LG LCD tv from 2009. It still works great. This one is just an upgrade and the picture quality and user interface is excellent, as I expected. It also has such a slick look even when it’s not on. The only thing I don’t like is that this tv, like most others, has feet near the ends. My older LG has a swivel base. I purchased a separate swivel base to mount this to. This was a super value during Black Friday. I may just buy another one this year.

Great quality, clear picture. Very nice easy to set up. The volume is good. It took a bit to get use to the high quality / difference in movement in screen. The buttons in the remote are small and close together making it hard to change channels but over time you get use to the layout of the remote. Good free LG channels add a nice variety to streaming TV options.

For the sale price of $299, this was a great purchase. This TV replaced my old Vizio. It has a much better picture with great brightness. The responsiveness of the interface lags and speakers could be better.

Great TV for the price I paid. I’m a fan of LG products and have their OLED for the living room and just needed a simple quality TV for the guest room and this caught my attention. Working great so far although it can be a bit laggy but considering the price I’m not too mad.

Decent TV. Decent color even if it's not as good as some it's quite good accept for th most discerning, but for the price and the size this was hard to beat. The OS isn't great so I would suggest a ROKU or APPLE TV to go with it. If you have issues with the remote like I did they are readily available and cheap, easier than a return and it's been working perfectly ever since we got it for about a year now.
