    Purchased this television to my older LG model. Iwould recommend this television to a friend. The model was easy to set up to streaming with my local Spectrum service.

    Defective LG TV

    Bought this TV in June from Best Buy in Oxnard. Initially the TV worked great and looked good. Unfortunately on August 1st the TV died. Talked to Best Buy about it for possible repair or replacement but as a manufacturer defect it has to go through LG to be replaced. I assume that’s typical. It’s going to take weeks to refund or get replaced. Not a good experience with either LG or Best Buy. I’d be very hesitant to buy another LG because of this, and Best Buy was less than helpful. Sony has been my go to for tv’s for years and has always been great quality, but you pay for it. This is a fairly inexpensive tv and as they say you get what you pay for sometimes. I was hoping for great value, instead just got a headache!

    Worest TV I have ever onwed. If i could give zero stars I would. Id rater wtach 5V on a old black and white tv over this grabage TV. Audio goes out constantly. There is a terrible lag when you go to open apps or move around the home screen.

    Nice tv but does not have a magic remote for the 2024 model so you cannot control your cable box

    Salesperson gave false info and support won’t help

    We purchased this TV at Sioux City ia Best Buy and was told by sales person it would work with Direct TV. Got it home and won’t work you can’t download the App. Called and couldn’t talk to the store it goes to call center. Now we have to drive back 2 hours each way to return. Ridiculous that sales person doesn’t know what they are talking about. Best Buy call center wouldn’t do anything just kept saying take it back to store.

      We recommend checking the LG Content Store directly on your TV to confirm which apps are compatible. If an expected app like DIRECTV STREAM isn’t available, you can still access live TV through a DIRECTV set-top box connected via HDMI. For app issues, try going to Settings > All Settings > General > System > Location > LG Service Country, temporarily switching to another region, then switching back to the U.S. to refresh the app store.     Worst TV I’ve Owned

    I have a Vizio I bought back in 2011 that outperforms this TV in almost every aspect. The only thing this TV has on the Vizio is that this one is 4K. The 4K is lousy at best, gaming on this TV will make you feel like you’re telling someoen else what buttons to push because it lags so bad. It’s very selective on what content it wants to show in 4K. I have a brand new Series X and gigabit wifi but yet the only app that would display 4K is Apple TV. I will never be buying another LG “AI Thin Anything.” I’ve been a die hard Samsung guy and it will definitely stay that way.

    Good tv, lousy setup software is horrible

    The initial setup programming is full of bugs, gets stuck, hard to complete, and LG support was of no help! No documentation is another issue on this. I was somehow able to complete it by trying various things, but spend 1 1/2 hours trying to get through it. Even with 37 years as a software developer it gave me problems! LG should fire the programmers who designed it! Even putting the stand legs up was confusing. ,

    I just got this Tv last week and you would think it’s 15 years old. The lag is so bad that the Tv is absolutely unusable. Going from Netflix to home page takes over a minute. Fully updated software and nothing else I can do. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life.
