It is different from the old one we had been using for years with lots of new features and ways of heating things. But so far, it performs very well. We are a bit concerned about not scratching the stove top with our old pots, but so far so good. It fits well in our kitchen.

Timer is odd, it won’t allow you to set seconds, just full mins, and it has to be entered as 1, for 1 minute. If you type in 1:00, you get an hour! The burners heat up fast and evenly, but cleaning this glass top has been especially hard. It seems to hold stains more then others I’ve had. Also, the rubber gasket around the top of the glass cooktop has already started to get chipped and torn after 3 months of use. Overall, disappointed with this purchase for the cost.
