Seems to bake even. A bit hotter than our previous oven. I was told the oven had a hidden element in the bottom but it does not. Disappointed as I feel bottom heat is needed. I do miss control knobs.

I compared several brands and models. This one gave the look, the self cleaning feature, and has the feel of quality. Some I compared felt lightweight and sounded tin-ny when I closed the door. But this oven door has a nice weight to it and a solid sound. I feels like it was made to last.
