It's electric and has a really cool digital panel. It looks great in the stainless black. Really sleek look awesome stove.

The big problem is that the cooktop gets HOT HOT in all areas except the burner areas. Too hot to hold hand on surface. Tried the chatline without any information and was told to call the 800 number which I did. The 800 person said it was normal. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected. I can understand that the cooktop would get warm at the vent area, but this is the entire cooktop surface. Would not be good for households with kids.

Bottom drawer is very difficult to open, you have to hold both ends and pull, or wedge your fingers in between the drawer and door to grab the top. Difficult to program, not user friendly by any means. Touch pad on programming / display do not seem like they will last very long. Cooking surface very hard to remove spills. Hopefully I can sell in a couple years and buy another. Also, if you are buying due to a rebate, make sure you read the fine print on the terms and conditions to safeguard yourself against minor disqualifications.
