Today it stopped working on 1/2 of the cooktop. A wifi diagnostic on the stove said an inverter has a technical defect and will require service. Called the service number and found out that they do not have hours past 6:30 p.m. Naturally, this '"technical defect" happened in the middle of preparing dinner, and caused the steaks I was cooking to be ruined. I suggest anyone considering buying an LG product do extensive research before wasting $3,000 on a stove that will only work for less than six months.

Newer technology will adjust to your pot, like the new GE. I had no idea this one was so finicky when I bought it. The folks at Best Buy don't really know much about induction products, so beware. No small pots either. They say 5 1/2" minimum, but really closer to 6". Too pricey to exchange now, but would if I could.

Cooktop Stops Working Terrible Customer Service

It worked great for about six month then began having issues. If we run the oven for twenty minutes or more, the cooktop burners will stop working. We at first thought it was a fluke as it only happened twice. Over the next six months this began happening more often. I contacted LG about this issue three times and have gotten no response. Now the range it out of warranty and they will not repair it. I've found posts online about others having this same issue. I had been very happy with our other LG appliances but after this, I will not purchase another LG appliance.

Broke after one year

Unfortunately, a little after a year of ownership, 3 of the 5 burners failed to work. Also, the oven buttons for changing the temperature aren’t the best.
