Customers appreciate the induction cooktop's performance and the oven's even cooking capabilities, noting that food cooks quickly. They also find the range easy to use and clean. However, some customers mention challenges with the size of the burners, finding that smaller pans may not heat efficiently on the larger burner. The slower heating time of the burners compared to other brands was also noted by some users.

Well, I finally got to this review. It's been nearly three months since delivery, but the kitchen is nearly finished and the appliance is installed. Delivery: They hit the date and time and delivered it upstairs to my condo kitchen where they stared at the wires sticking out of the wall and told me that they couldn't install it, so I left that for the contractor. How it works: So far, excellent. My first use of the oven was to cook a couple of lasagnas for neighbors. The oven worked perfectly. I've since made pasta on the stove top. I think the water boiled faster, but didn't time it. Yes, I'm reading the instructions still, but everything is pretty intuitive, and easy to use. I'll have some learning ahead to make the best use of the convection setting on the oven and to work with the induction cooktop. I'm also glad that there's a non-induction warming burner as well. With this limited use, I'm 100% satisfied with the purchase.

I've only had for a few months, but absolutely love this range/oven. Once you go induction, you'll never go back. Food cooks incredibly quick and I haven't had to make much of a transition in the types of pans you use (although I have been buying induction cookware for years in anticipation of making this change).
My only feedback is that the larger burner really does require a large pan and if you use something on the smaller side and don't have it perfectly centered it will eventually stop working after a few minutes, and the fun little chime that LG plays does not suggest something is wrong.
I haven't done any major baking, but the oven appears to cook evenly and is super easy to clean from my experience so far.
The wi-fi features are only minimally useful as you have to activate before each time of use. It would be great to be able to turn the oven on to pre-heat on my way home without planning, for example.

We have now had this range for about a year.
It is hands down the best range I have owned. It is my first induction and I do not plan to go back to gas (or certainly never an electric- the worst!)
I love how fast you can change the heat level. The top stays really clean because nothing burns to it. My previous electric was so hard to keep clean. With the induction, the actual top does not heat, only the pot. You can literally safely pick up a pot and wipe the spill underneath while the induction is working!
I love the feeling of safety that the top itself does not heat and will just shut itself off if no magnetic pot is detected. I used to worry my curious pups would turn on a gas or electric and cause a fire.
The oven is even and does a great job with baking.

oven works as expected. the induction cooktop is the reason for the purchase, our view is mixed. negatives center on the extreme sensitivity/inflexibility of the pan/pot size the burners are designed to accommodate. Contrary to our expectation the induction circles only work when the pan/pot nearly perfectly matches, a small pot can only be used on a small burner, you cant use a small pot on a medium or large element. on the positives the precision and amount of heat that can be be delivered under (goldilocks) circumstances is amazing. do not buy if you arent prepared to bend to the machine's arbitrary rules.

Straight out of the box this thing is a breath of fresh air.
I’ve got my first big meal on this coming up tonight, and I’ve only cooked myself a couple of eggs and a grilled cheese as of yet, but it’s certainly a step up from electric.
Speaking of step up, get rid of all those aluminum pans. They don’t register on the burners (they may work on the warming burner, but I’ve not had time to test that hypothesis just yet).
My cast iron double sided griddle works on the back two burners (both sides register). No need to “arc” the two burners (like on an electric cook top).
The oven is huge, and I can’t wait to test it. The oven knob is a bit confusing, as they have a redundant touch control that accompanies it (maybe the knob is for safety, I don’t know).
The app is exciting, although this is my only smart LG appliance (and I have no plans on upgrading any other appliances in the near future).
I could certainly see myself upgrading to an LG washer/dryer/dishwasher down the road.
The “glass cook top” warning that came with the stove is jarring, if not upsetting. Seriously, it’s a glass cook top. The warning makes it sound like it’s an iPad that I’m going to drop down the stairs.
Stay tuned, I’ll have an update in a few months.

We are happy with this purchase, though it was definitely expensive and we had to wait a while for it to go on sale, and to actually get it, in 2021. That said, I've had the unit for nearly a year and can report it works well, with no real issues. I am still getting used to the arrangement of the burners, which is a little different than my previous stove.
There are four induction burners and one regular warming burner that is electric. I am not sure I have ever used that warming burning. It's not needed and I'd rather have another induction burner. But that's relatively small potatoes. The induction burners are a good variety of sizes--two small burners, one medium, one large. That said, the only one that are the same are the two small back burners. That means that my two-burner flat griddle can only go across the back of the stove, and that's a bit annoying. Also, I've had issues with the biggest burner not always liking a pan. It's picky about sizing--and really only wants big pans on that biggest burner. It's also very picky about flat bottom pans (insert Queen reference here) and one cast iron pan I own, that has a design on the bottom and isn't perfectly flat, sometimes makes the range very unhappy.
That said, as long as everything is a happy match, the induction range works perfectly. I think water may boil even faster on this one than on my previous stove, which was also induction but a measure older.
The oven is good but requires getting used to only having a top element. The various settings are a bit mysterious to me--I'm not really sure what "convection roast" means vs. "convection bake." I read the manual, but I just pretty much dial up "convection bake" every time, unless I need a low temp. It will not use the convection setting with anything super low. I like to dry herbs at the end of the summer at a low heat, and this was a bit annoying last year. The warm setting, though, is useful and I've been able to more successfully keep bread dough warm/proofing in this oven than in the previous one. It is strange, though, not to have a bottom element. It is also nice to not drip junk on the bottom element, though!
Also, the convection oven automatically downscales 25 degrees because the unit "thinks" its super efficient in convection mode. I have found this feature annoying, and almost always correct back to the regular temperatures. You can turn it off, but I'm too lazy to look it up in the manual.
I read other people complaining about the difficulty of sliding the racks when I first decided to buy the oven. I thought, "These people are nuts. Who has issues with racks?" Truth be told though, I have found these racks to be annoying. I don't know why they are so tight and difficult to move, but if this is how LG gets people to pony up another nearly 1000 dollars for their *slightly* fancier mode, I'm kind of perturbed. These could definitely be better for an appliance that is as expensive as this one is. I am hopeful they will slide easier over time, but it has been nearly a year, and I still end them herky-jerky.
I have not used the wifi features. I really don't need my oven to talk to the wifi. The

Induction cooktop works very well as does the convection oven.
My old range stopped working and due to COVID issues with the appliance industry, I only had two choices for an induction range when I went to Best Buy.
Having only two choices limited the features on my new range that I now miss from old range ... internal food thermometer... ability to chose convection bake vs traditional bake ... and the oven door must be closed for broil on new range vs my old range.
If COVID were not impacting my choices, I would have selected a different range (features and manufacturer)

Induction rocks! So easy to adjust power from massive to next-to-nothing. Boils water faster than kettle. No formaldehyde from burning gas or risk of injuring hands on hot stove. Oven also works well.

Love this stove. I was used to gas, but in our new neighborhood their was no gas. Bought this induction stove and couldn’t be happier. The burners work as advertised and they are a revelation. The convection oven is wonderful. Haven’t used the Wi-Fi but honestly didn’t really care about that. Oh also had spill in the oven with some almond cream and had to wait until everything finished cooking before I could clean it. To my surprise it wiped up so easily you’d never know there was a spill.

We were hesitant to replace our good GE glass top range, but had heard so many good things about induction and convection technologies in the kitchen. I was also unsure about the controls up front with no back. After using the range in our family of 8 for a little over a month, we are all-in and love cooking and baking with this LG.
Almost all of our cookware was compatible, with only 2 pots not having enough magnetic material to work with the induction top. The buzzing and other noises take a little getting used to, but it is minor. The power supply cooling fans do run for quite a while after cooking, which initially we thought meant that we had left it on. The big knobs are great and easy to use. Most of them remove easily for cleaning. We do have to wipe down the controls pretty often, almost after every meal. We haven’t had many issues keeping the pots or pans aligned with the cooking element, but it will shut off if you move it off-center. The red light under each element is easy to understand and it beeps to tell you if there is a problem.
I had read that a lot of families liked the induction ranges for cooking with kids. It’s true! Our youngest who is 7, is fully capable of cooking eggs with the range and with the temperature accuracy and cool top, we don’t worry about burning anything. So easy to wipe off the top because it stays so much cooler. Any spills don’t burn, which is wild. Overall, the kitchen stays much cooler since there isn’t wasted heat.
The convection oven works great and didn’t require a learning curve. Just shorten the cooking time a bit and you are good to go. Love how the oven flashes the light and chimes once your preheat has been reached. The sliding racks are not smooth at all. Maybe because of the coating inside? I ordered the better ball bearing rack that the more expensive model uses and it works great. We haven’t used the Wifi oven controls yet to actually cook, but have checked it out at home and it is really cool.
Overall, we love this range and are excited to use it for many years with our large family!

I purchased this range a couple of months ago and I love it! It replaced a gas range that worked well, but induction is much safer than gas or electric coil. The stovetop is super easy to clean, food doesn't burn onto the surface, The burners are easy to control and water comes to a boil, FAST. Baking is even. I like that any spills will not flow over the edge and I don't have to reach over a hot pot to adjust the burner heat. I won't ever go back to a gas or standard electric coil or smooth top range.

We switched form a commercial grade gas range to this range because we love induction cooking. Fast efficient safe and variable heat. The oven is large with many features some of which we have not used yet but the convection roast and bake settings make cooking fast and easy. The unit is stylish and we did not want the controls in the rear so we would not have to reach over boiling water to set dials. This is one of the few induction cooktop ranges that offer that.

This is our first induction range. There was a little bit of a learning curve at first and once we figured it out, it easily became one of our favorite ways to cook. The oven works like a dream and the induction technology is fantastic. Our only complaint would be the layout of the burners. You have to use the correct size cookware on each burner for them to function properly. We mainly use our small to medium sized cookware the most and those burners are placed at the back of the range while the large ones are at the front. Not a huge problem, but it just seems logical to put the smaller ones to the front. Other than that, we absolutely love this unit!

I have this range for over 2 years now. This thing absolutely changed our life! We came from a regular electric range. Making an instant noodle used to take 15 mins. With this induction range, the water boils before I can get the noodle packaging opened!! With the high speed heat transfer, it enable us with more cooking options. Pan fried meat tastes much better because water evaporate faster.
There is also a side bonus of the glass top being super easy to clean. Because the glass isn't the part that heat up, spilled food doesn't get burn on it.
Lastly, I want to talk about energy consumption. Induction cooking is much more efficient than older electric cooktop and gas. There isn't any heat wasted.

I have not tried it yet but looking forward to it! I bought it for my daughter thinking it would save money as its a quick heat induction. its a shame they charge so much for it! This is not a new technology as its been in china way longer than here. Anytime we get something we think is new and state of the art item, the price it outrageous. China has had induction cookers for many years! Oh well, I hope that its as good!

We've only had the range for a little over a month, but it hits the nail on the head. I've been using a portable induction cooker for a few months to make sure I'm happy cooking with the technology. This stove blows that unit away.
It's quiet and heats pots and pans very quickly. More importantly you can control temperature down very quickly and effectively--no more broken sauces or burnt food because I couldn't lower the temperature properly.
The performance of the convection oven is a game changer, too.
It also matches our other LG appliances, even though they're a couple years old and we didn't buy them as a set.
