Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the induction cooktop's performance and the oven's even cooking capabilities, noting that food cooks quickly. They also find the range easy to use and clean. However, some customers mention challenges with the size of the burners, finding that smaller pans may not heat efficiently on the larger burner. The slower heating time of the burners compared to other brands was also noted by some users.

Love induction cooktop, not the oven
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was delivered in November 2021, love the induction, already had induction cookware. What I dislike about this model is the oven racks a difficult to pull out, scratch up the blue interior so the inside looks damaged. Go with the oven with the glide out rack, that stove was unavailable when I purchased this model.

Still not properly installed after almost a month
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The one star is not for the product per se, but it’s for the process of installation, or, rather, the lack of the process of installation. It’s not rocket science, but for your Best Buy warranty to be valid, it must be installed by Best Buy, or their licensed installers. The installer that they sent was a third-party. There’s all sorts of language in the literature and on the appliance about an anti-tip bracket, and the installer, when asked directly about it, stated (falsely) that it didn’t have one. They also, when directly asked, said there was no bracket to bridge the gap between the wall, and the back of the unit. (subsequent repair, crew personnel, and the instruction manual says otherwise) The original installer didn’t level the unit. All of these things need to happen for it to be properly installed, and therefore be covered by the extended warranty I purchased from Best Buy. I’m on my fourth appointment now, and have spent aggregate of about four hours on hold or in conversation with various Best Buy people, and have told them the same thing over and over again. The company has a serious problem communicating With their third-party installers, and with their repair crews. All of the subsequent Best Buy and geek squad employees sent on the second and third appointments were very pleasant, and understood the situation, but didn’t have the parts, even though the company has been made aware. People I speak with on the phone also, can you tell me if the parts are in. To say that I am unimpressed is a bit of an understatement. I am hopeful that they do some things here is to fix this or I’m just going to return the entire unit, even though the unit is quite serviceable. sigh. As for the unit, the oven works pretty well. It’s not quite as hot as our gas stove was, but the convection gets up to 550°, and cooks things fairly evenly. It also had an additional third rack, one more than our old gas stove. We wanted dials fairly badly. This unit has them, but they are not analog: they are stepped, so you have 9 steps per burner. The unit has four burners. If your pan is too small, especially on the front two burners, the burners won’t work. This freaked me out a little bit at first. So now one has to do a bit of pan management to cook on all burners. There is also a “warming zone“ at the right rear of the cooktop. As far as I can tell it’s a low level resistance coil heater stuck in the corner of the cooktop. It is so subtle so as to be almost useless. Actually, it is kind of useless. But it’s nice to have extra space on the cooktop to move stuff around on. Basically a glorified four burner stove. The door at the bottom is a little bit smaller than our last one, but it fits our cast-iron griddle (which actually bridge is fairly well on the two burners on the left side of the stove), and all of her sheet pans and cookie sheets fairly well. If you’re using an induction plate adapter, like we are for our aluminum moka pots, it takes a bit longer to make your coffee. Heating water or other things in either a cast-iron or properly alloyed cookware is actually faster. There’s a learning curve on how fast things Cook, and what your settings need to be. Also, your pan handles don’t get hot, even if you have boiling water in your tea kettle. That’s nice. Also, the cooktop itself doesn’t get terribly hot, and it’s ridiculously easy to clean, unless you are freaked out about any little smudge or fingerprint. Then it’s just like cleaning windows. You can get them mostly clean, but not entirely. The only other comment I have on this unit is that the kitchen timer alarm, and the notification when the oven has come to temperature are really annoying songs. They’re supposed to be cheerful, but they are incredibly grating. They are not changeable.

Love this stove!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love love this stove! Now I was previously using an old coil electric so this is an amazing upgrade. Only used it a few days so far but the super burner is awesome it boils a pot of water so quickly like 5 minutes or less it’s amazing. We have stainless steel and cast iron and they all work great so far! The oven is also faster than my other oven. I can high broil a naan pizza in 2 minutes! Crazy fast it’s awesome!!! So far so good!

Great Deal!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were shopping around for an induction top and convection oven slide in to replace our old electric oven. After going to two other stores we found this in the local Best Buy and it ended up being half the price of the other stores and they through in a $200 gift card! Best Buy has been my go to ever since.

Overall impressed.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has taken some getting used to. The burners behave more like a gas range than electric. Yay team! The oven bakes very well for everything so far except pizza. Even with a pizza stone the middle is not done. Still experimenting. My bread turned out great though!

Samsung conduction oven!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a conduction oven. It’s works excellent ! It had the fast heat up time I have ever seen with an electric stove. However make sure you pay attention to the details on it! You can only use pans that are metal on the bottom in the middle of the pan or they will not work with this stove ! If you can stick a magnet to the bottom they should work. We had to buy all new pans.

Underwhelming
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this item a little over a month now, and had 2 technicians out so far. The 11" burner so far only heats 7" of pan which performs almost identically to the 8" burner. Also the difference between 4616 and 4617 is very large, had I knew all of the differences the 4617 is the obvious choice. Even though the LCD screen shows bottom heating indicator on the display panel, neither model has a bottom oven heating element, the oven heater only uses the back convection element and thus the convection fan runs nearly 90% of the time at higher temperatures. This means you will not have a standard oven if you purchase this unit. At temperatures above 400+ there is no discernible difference between convection bake and bake, as the bake mode runs the fan for 50-60s with 10s stopped intervals while the convection setting runs the fan mostly full time with intermittent stops. This fan is quite loud so if you want a more typical oven or a quiet oven this unit is not for you.

Second Induction and worth the upgrade.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased an induction in a home that I sold. It was the entry level, very competent, and work well. I wanted the nob instead of the push button and am very please with this model. The fact you can simmer without fear of burning and immediately boil water is just the highlights. The fact is was on sale made it an excellent choice.

Great stove
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You should be able to use a little pan on the big burner if needed, it's to small to detect anything on the surface if it's to small

A True pleasure to cook on!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oven heats evenly, a true pleasure to use. I did have trouble with the racks sticking at first. Washed them and they are fine now. If you are new to induction cooking, invest in a really good set of cookware first thing. Cheaper ones do not heat evenly. Knobs can be locked for safety. Response time for burner adjustments is nearly instantaneous. Enjoy
