There is an oven fan that runs on/off, on/off, the entire time the oven is on (non-convection). The induction has fans that run until the induction top is cooled down. They are more of a high pitched whine. The control panel is not backlit, which makes it almost impossible to read at night. This is a pretty serious design flaw on the "what were they thinking" level. If I had known all this before I bought the range, I doubt I would have bought it. As it is, I will just have to get used to it. C'est la vie.

Enter induction cooking, which combines the precision of gas without the combustion byproducts. There are NO downsides to using induction cooking. If you're looking for a replacement to either a gas or electric range, you should seriously look at induction.

The speed and precise control of the burners is amazing. I'm still learning how to use the convection and air fry modes of the oven but so far, it's good.

Great compromise between gas, which we had at our old house and electric, which was here at our new house. Haven't used all of the features yet, but the cooktop is outstanding and the oven heats quickly and bakes evenly. My favorite part of the new house.
