We replaced our coiled electric stove with this new induction cook top. We have used an induction hotplate for a while now, as a trial to cooking with induction. These are so much more efficient by directly heating the pots and pans, which means we needed to have everything prepared ahead of time, because it cooks faster. There is less wasted energy radiated into space or conduction through thermal insulating layers. Because it works through magnetic flux, it is the safest technology. We had already replaced most of our pots and pans with induction compatible options. We also appreciated the ergonomics of the physical knob controls vice the touch screen on the lower model, and high Consumer Report reliability rating of LG for kitchen appliances.

The good - Induction works very, very quickly. Because the stovetop isn't heated, cleanup is a breeze! The burners and oven turn off when not in use or do not detect a pan. The OK: The air fryer takes some getting used to - the food instructions are generally too short. It is possible the stove cooks at a lower temp - I have not validated calibration.

How did we live without it! This stove top is wonderful! Induction heats up very fast, and the clean up is so easy!

December 10, 2024 We recently purchased and had a LG Electronic Induction Range installed by Best Buy - the installation was great-seamless! Best Buy’s installers were both courteous and quite knowledgeable! They were able to answer ALL my husbands questions, not an easy task for anyone these days for my husband is a “little” hard to please when it comes to his home appliances &  entertainment system componants. In addition, the sales team and customer service representatives were also amazing to deal with! BEST BUY was the BEST part of our holidays!!!

Great range. Heats up fast. The stove needs special magnetic cookware. The stove surface scratches easily, so we purchased a specially designed matt.

Very pleased, oven pre heats quickly. Induction is a pleasure. Smooth surface makes cleaning a breeze. Haven't tried the Air Fry yet! Truely satisfied with LG

What a great deal on a powerful grill. We've had to adjust to how powerful this range is. What was the highest setting on our old range is the midrange for this oven so you have to watch and adjust your settings and dont walk away or you will burn your food. Its a whole new learning experience on all the features and upgrades.

I researched every range that would fit in the space and read every review. After due diligence I chose this LG range and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. It also has the high end and quality appearance that I was looking for. Cooking food on the cooktop and in the oven has never been better. The induction and convection functions really makes a difference.

I do love the induction and how fast water boils! It is a bit of a learning curve; lots of bells and whistles. Had it less than a week so I'm sure it will be a 5 when I figure it all out.

I love this range. Very sensitive to cooking temps and very easy clean up.

Haven’t had any issues with it since installing. Burner layout is a bit odd.

Great performance and features. Heats up quick and enjoy that it auto adjusts oven temp to account for convection cooking process. Read the highlights on the manual and you'll be happy you did. Made a roast and used the temp probe which ensured a perfect temp and it turned itself off which was amazing.

This is an amazing range. I have never had an induction range, but now that I have my LG induction range, I will never go back to regular burners. I regret that it is not a double oven range. But I can work around that issue. The only problem I have found is that, even with the lightest weight pans, the stainless steel in the front scratches very easily. The range is easy to clean. Not only is the oven steam cleaning, but it is also high-heat self-cleaning. I have found that most ranges do not have that option. All of my appliances and my television are LG. I love LG. I assuredly recommend this product.

We do love this convenction range, but we still haven't mastered air frying with it yet. So far things seem undercooked compared to our stand-alone air fryer. Other than that this is so much better than our old electric stove!

Love the look, very sleek. Both the burners and oven comes to temp quickly. There is a light on the cooktop that shows which burner is on. If the cookware is a little smaller its cool to the touch. Very handy when you have kids around, no burns! By far this is my favorite stove!

Induction cooking is Amazing! Heats up and boils water super fast, and is VERY responsive. Turn the knob down and the heat changes immediately. Love the real knobs instead of a control panel. We're just starting to explore all the capabilities of this store, but so far everything works superbly.

This is our first induction top. This is close to using gas for the speed of control. Since the pan or pot is what gets hot (no burner under the glass) food doesn’t tent to stick to the top. Temperature in the oven is accurate and convection works well.

This new range is so powerful and instantly responsive that it feels like a sleek sports car. Induction cooking is a real revelation, and I feel like I was in the Stone Age igniting and combusting fossil fuels in my kitchen every day just last week. This thing is quiet, clean, and easy to use. My 11-year-old American-made All-Clad pots and pans work perfectly. This range cooks great, and my only major beef is that it does not contain a bridge feature, contrary to the inaccurate specs on the Best Buy website. So I am concerned that a griddle may not get evenly hot. It would also be nice if it had a warming drawer. However, the radiant top “warm zone” is helpful, and putting a covered pot on is one way to keep food warm from all sides, as opposed to just on the bottom.
