The oven has made a high pitched woo-woo-wooo sound since the day I got it last July. Gets even louder when the oven is cooling down. Thought it was normal until I read some of the bad reviews of this oven. Convection bake does not work at all. I've ruined 2 turkeys and a high end standing rib roast. I have to turn everything I make in it around 1/2 way through cooking time so it cooks even. The broiler will come on in about 2 minutes UNLESS you are baking and then go to broil and then it takes 7 minutes to turn on. Yes, my husband and I have timed it. The self cleaning is a joke. I cleaned it for the 5 whole hours last time and it still isn't all the way clean. I HATE THIS OVEN and can not wait until manufactures start making appliances again so I can replace the freaking thing. If I had to say something positive....uh.....I like the blue inside? That's it.

When I decided to upgrade with a slide in I immediately went with LG.....boy has their quality slid backwards. Best Buy was great, and let me return it, and I purchased an upscale Whirlpool which is perfect.

The grates are set in from the edge of the top about 1 inch all around which makes a big difference when trying to use several burners at once. I love the blue oven and the cute sounds the oven makes when getting to temperature. Unfortunately, our oven had a small gas leak and had to be returned.

I fell in love with the contemporary style and blue interior. 2 days ago the F3 warning light came on. A repairman is scheduled for Monday. I have had many stoves in my lifetime and never had to call a repairman. My last Maytag was fine I just had to have this slide in stove. BIG mistake!!!All that glitters is not gold.

Then discovered it was set up for propane and not natural gas so i had to go buy a conversion kit to make it work properly! I still don’t have the oven working as it should.

so far so good...but top metal part is peeling.

I was so excited to get new appliances and ended up spending more than I planned because I thought these were going to be nice. I decided to bake today and when the cookies were in the oven they caught on fire! I look and there are big flames coming out of the fan in the back. I called for service, but now I have to wait another week. The stovetop is also a bit of a pain to clean, the top is stainless and I think it will scratch pretty easily so you have to be really careful when you use it. It has a griddle pan in the middle but you have to take that off if you want to use a big skillet. The oven is huge and I like the blue enamel, it makes it easy to see inside when it catches on fire!

The heat comes in from the back of the oven, unlike most other ovens where it comes in from the side bottom. After only one and a half years I have to buy another oven. This bakes so unevenly it's incredible. Stay away from LG's. They are all like this now.

The propane company said I will need to buy a new oven or replace it completely which is going to be just as costly. Talk about terrible reliability!
