I love how it looks and it seems to perform well. I have used it only a couple of times and somehow the gridle plate is already damaged. I used nothing sharp or abrasive on it to cook or clean and am SO disappointed and upset. There is a huge scratch/chunk taken out of it and it seems defective. I had assumed it was cast iron since the other pieces said they are but seems like very cheap teflon?? Not sure if it could even be that these days but it is some cheap coating. Not sure how to get a replacement or what to do. Seems unsafe to cook on. Truly unbelievable.
