    HAD TO HAVE ORIGINAL REPLACED AND NOW CONVECTION WONT COOK ANYTHING OVER 325 DEG. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT. MAY NEED TO HAVE REPLACED A SECOND TIME... GO MANUAL...WIFI CONNECTION NOT WORTH IT YET.

    Too Much Money To Be So Disappointed

    I want to love this range, but there are too many things I don't like about it. I have had it for almost two months. What I like: 1. Two ovens. Five burners. What I don't like: 1. It's not a true slide-in and the trim piece for the back doesn't cover the ugly metal, so putting it in an island isn't ideal. 2. The griddle. It's Teflon. Even with nylon utensils, it got scraped and chipped on the first use. 3. The thermostat is inaccurate. The top oven doesn't get hot enough. When you use both ovens, the top one overheats. 4. One of the igniters on one of the burners is already a "hard start" after two months. What's going to happen in two years? 5. It squeals. It squeals while in use; it squeals when cooling down. It squeals. A range should not squeal. It's annoying. 6. The bottom oven has a stupid rack with a double pull out. It's about 2 inches high, which makes it difficult to put large items in the bottom oven I had to take the rack out to cook a turkey. Not acceptable. 7. It's hard to clean and the grates always look dirty, even after washing in the dishwasher, as suggested. Don't use the scrubby side of your sponge on the top -- it will scratch the surface. 8. Easy Clean does not work worth a whit. I ended up having to sop up water out of the bottom of the oven, which was as much a pain in the rear as having to clean it myself. If I could return this, I would, and I'd find something else. I had a similar LG ELECTRIC range that I liked, but it had a "regular" self clean cycle.

    Waste of my money!!!

    Great range if you don’t mind the paint peeling off of it and having Best Buy and LG refuse to make right on the defective polymer black coating that is painted on and sold as black stainless steel. Don’t believe me google it!! There are many people with LG ranges/refrigerators and microwaves with the same issue and no recourse!! Don’t buy!!

    DO NOT BUY

    Owen heavy smelling Some time gas smell too. Owen doesnt cook well. When you make cake bottom get burned. Top uncooked. I called geek squad they came january: they tell me nothing wrong. I called again they show up : they tell me nothing wrong. Third time they show up finally they found somethings is wrong. Gas range shows 375 but actually heat degree 350. They offer me i have to call LG. I asked them why? Why i paid geek squad protection? I am already tired calling them and begging help. This gas range piece of junk. DO NOT BUY

    Safety Hazard

    Due to the design of the LGT4715 gas range and how the oven vents, the cook top surface becomes extremely hot when the oven is actively heating and after it has been turned off. This causes items on the cook top to become so hot that oven mitts are required to move them to avoid burns. In addition, in our particular situation, the vent caused a plastic cutting board on our cook top surface to melt. LG Customer Service sent a repairman to assess the range but because nothing was in need of repair, he could not help. When we spoke with LG directly, they explained that the oven passed the engineering safety tests and they could do nothing to rectify the situation. They told me to warn all household members of the safety risk. I pass this on to consumers...be warned, the cook top gets dangerously hot during and after using the oven.

    LG Customer Support is pretty bad!

    All the knobs decals and writing have worn out plus the back of the knob connector pieces are all broken. LG's customer service says to call their parts distributers where none of the distributers have the parts. LG says it not their problem. I would not recommend LG appliances.
