I got this TV set after doing a two month research about quality of picture, colors, and other functions that several brands offer. I chose LG because the images' quality compare to the OLED version and the apps and all the commands to combine all my wireless stuff is amazing. I love it.

I'm normally only a Samsung customer but when something happened to the 60" Samsung 3d tv we had, Samsung no longer offers what we have in a 60". That was when I did some shopping and read very good reviews regarding this 3d LG. After looking at it's picture in-store and setting it up in the house, I can definitely say that we are pleased with it. The only thing I could be critical of is that it lacks as many input and output options on the back as the Samsung for setting up things like external receivers, Bluetooth accessories, and things like that. But I also knew that when I purchased it so I just worked around that.

Maybe it is just me, but I just can't seem to get a sharp picture when watching TV from my cable box. I have tried a multitude of settings, but nothing seems to help much. However, movies from Netflix and even just standard HD DVD's look great! The colors are fantastic! But there is some very noticeable gray scale bleeding when you have white text on a black background. I kind of expected a little better performance from LG for a TV of this level. I have not played any 3D movies yet...have not decided on which bluray player to get yet.

I wanted a great picture, and this product exceeded my expectations. Stunning colors, black black, and reality sharpness. I watched some 4K videos from you-tube and they were virtually 3D. As my wife announced, it's like the characters are in the room.

Beautiful picture. Great remote. Very thin and hangs well on the wall. True color. I selected this TV after much research. LG is on top of their game and the others are chasing them. Best LG without being OLED.

The picture is great and the viewing angle is also great. Sound is very good and has an equalizer to adjust the sound. 3-D is amazing with a lot of depth.

The glare is a little irritating and the "movement" takes getting used to, but the picture is outstanding. Very clear and the colors are beautiful.

This set has great picture quality and looks phenomenal in bright color scenes. Unfortunately it has a very noticeable color bleed in very dark scenes with a single bright light or when the screen is black and there is white lettering. It looks like a grey glow in the black around the bright colored objects or letters. No amount of tweaking with settings has been able to correct this for me. It is annoying, but not enough of a problem to make me take it back. Overall it's a nice set and not overly expensive.

What I really liked about the TV features was that you could turn on and off the tru motion effect and real cinema effects. These two options create a soap opera life like effect which would lose the big dramatic movie experience . Also, it was 3D ready. It does a decent job and has options to adjust the 3D settings and uses analog glasses. Only downfall is that it the upscaler engine, I really did not see much difference playing lower quality videos, and the optical out sound has bugs, sometimes it works, sometimes it won't.

I wanted a larger 3D TV that was also 4K Though I have not yet seen anything in 4K I was happily pleased with the results with 3D disks. I will only buy LG products from now on. I am waiting for the LG UP970 4K blu ray player to come out later this month.

The TV has a great picture and features for the price. I was able to get immediate WiFi connection with no hassle. Everything looks brighter and more crisp thanks to the 4K quality. The only thing I look forward to is more 4K options with cable and movies, that way I can enjoy the quality even more! Another benefit to this TV is easy access to things like Netflix, which are pre-installed right on the home button. All in all it is easy to navigate and the quality makes it beyond worth it.

Overall the picture quality is great and better or on par with high end samsungs from 2015. The webtv interface is smooth. The magic remote is innovative and I enjoy using the voice activated searches. Excited for Dolby vision and HDR content to become mainstream. Also has above average stock sound.

This set is unusually full featured for its price range. It has both HDR and Dolby Vision enhancements not usually found at this price point. The out of the box picture is excellent after compensating for the pegged backlight and contrast settings (used to make the picture stand out in stores). There are more than the usual number of picture adjustments though I found after referencing several internet sites that most of the settings were fine at the default. The audio performance is exceptional considering the small speakers located on the back of the set. This TV does all the small things right and I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

This is an awesome TV and it comes in a not so usual 60" size. This tv has great image. Coming from the Sony XBR55X900c which is an amazing tv in all senses but image (The Light Bleed i what made me return it), this tv beats it. It has better black than the Sony, even though the "Local Dimming" is just too obvious. Turn on the TV and set it in one of the HDMI connections without turning on the blu ray and you'll see the whole screen black but the left where it says "HDMI1" which is illuminated and the mouse is. The difference is very very ovbious. The only reason why I have local dimming on is because I have only the basic tv service, not HD, so the side black bars will be black thanks to local dimming. WebOs 3.0 is very well intergated in the hardware. None of the GUI will stutter at all like Android TV with Sony. All the animations are fluid, and the mouse cursor is very useful when you have to type something in YouTube or anywhere. It's number of apps is VERY limited. If you come from using android TV, you'll go nuts on the limited selection. Maybe buy a chromecast or Roku to offset the absence of apps. At least it has Youtube. No Kodi, no CinemaNow, no CBS, FOX, CC, UltraFlix. I have an HTPC (or HTLaptop) to play ISO images from my personal cloud and some videos with codecs the tv wont support. The upscale is great. It works very well upscaling everything you throw at it. Keep in mind that any upscale from low resolution images will ALWAYS result in boxes showing up, no way around it. The remote is very simple, and works like an Airmouse, which is awsome, however if you are used to remotes with lots of options, you'll have to adapt to the clicks. The configuration menu is divided in 2. an easy access one in the remote, then a full fledged one at the bottom. Some of the Picture options are under General instead of Picture. Overall, coming from a Sony TV, I feel that the LG has less options and no Android TV is not good but hey, LG paid premium money for WebOs and it has paid off the way the have applied it. It's somewhat cheaper and it has great options. I haven't tried 4K blu rays. I'm assuming that if the TV has HDR it will accept all the options for the 4K blu rays and it has HDMI 2.0a. I've read on the internet that people have successfully played the blu rays, but in my case I'll wait longer to get one of those player. More competition, the the price will drop.

This tv is so clear and the colors are so sharp. Programs that are 4K are even better and you almost feel like you are watching something live. The sound is also great. The set up was easy. This smart TV has so many options that is easy to navigate. I love this TV!

Once you turn off the motion enhancement that gives the soap opera effect it is a fantastic set. Everything we watch is so bright, colorful and better then original. I would highly recommend this set. After doing research it has both forms of HDR which means you do not have to make a choice with competing formats.
