Local Dimming Ruins Good TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall good picture and sound are ruined by atrocious local dimming. It creates large vertical bars that constantly shift in dark scenes to get deep blacks, but it’s very distracting. Turning off local dimming leaves a washed out picture. Additionally, it isn’t true 4K due to RGBW pixel implementation and some fast images can blur badly due to 60 Hz/weak Motionflow. Exchanged for Sony X850E and all the issues are resolved; albeit with a slightly higher price.
