This TV died after 11 months . It started turning off randomly. It was under warranty but I doubt it will last much past warranty. I have notified LG and they will repair it. Looking around the web this is a pretty common problem with them. I wish I would have done better research. Buyer beware of LG tvs.

    Middle of the road TV

Don't know how this TV is getting so many 5 star ratings. The warranty company offered this as one of the options as a replacement for a failed Vizio M60-C3. The picture on that TV was excellent but it suffered from LED arrays that were prone to failure. This LG TV doesn't even come close to the picture quality of that set. Even with many of the LEDs out the Vizio still had a clearer and sharper picture than this set. To be honest the colors are brilliant and the black levels are outstanding but even after several adjustments the details are often blownout and exhibits blooming around bright elements in the scene. The edges of items in a scene (such as the edge of a characters face or other objects) tend to be jagged even when viewed from a good distance away. Motion clarity can be a problem at times as well. I tried using the HDR selections and they only seemed to make the picture quality worse and dimmer instead of making it "Pop" like it is advertised. As with all large screen TVs today you need to invest in a soundbar or connect to some sort of home entertainment system for any sort of decent sound. The setup is easy, the WebOS works really well, and it comes pre-stocked with useful APPs already installed. It all falls back to that trite comment that "this is a good set for the money." The trouble is that there are several exceptional sets in the same price range that offer better picture quality and user interface. 3 or 4 years ago this probably would have been a top pick. Sadly now it is only an also ran among a field of other sets that are a better value for the money.

This is definitely not what we expect from our products. Have you tried to power cycle the television? You do this by unplugging the unit, then hold the power button on the unit for 60 seconds. Then plug it back in. After this, check for firmware updates. If this does not work, please reach out to us via phone at 1-800-243-0000 or online on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/LGUSSupport or Twitter @LGUSSupport so I can assist you further. ^EJ LG

    Great 60in TV

This was a great buy. Though it is recommended for any TV that is larger than 42inches to have a TRUE native 120Hz Refresh Rate, the TruMotion 120 technology on this gives it a great boost; I was pleasantly surprised. Sound is great on this unit as well.

I give a standing ovation to this TV.. it comes with a web browser and more. I can easily make it a part of my smart home because it comes built in with Amazon Alexa connectivity as well as Google Home connectivity. The picture is GREAT! Probably the best 4k TV I've owned and I've owned one from Hisense, Samsung, Sony, and now LG. If you have questions I'm a tech nerd feel free to comment on here if supported.. I can help ya possibly.. well most likely

    Solid Television

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I am no TV expert, but I stay up on most tech talk and can say that for the price, this is a solid panel. I notice pretty significant back light bleeding when the screen is in transition and blacked out. However, once an image is displayed the colors look very good, and the picture is sharp and consistent, giving an admirable credibility to 4k. For $550 (current price), you can't ask for much more in an effort to get a 60 inch 4k panel....what a value! As for the sound....c'mom ladies and gents. You're buying a 60" TV. Invest in some audio equipment!

    OK, but not the best

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have had LG TVs before and always enjoyed their clarity and picture quality. At a price in the $500 range, I thought this would be a steal. It turned out to be just an OK purchase. I've had it a month. Now that the TV burn in is complete, I've adjusted the colors. I cannot get the picture to be as natural looking as my other TVs. For the price, this is good enough for my den/stereo room. The big problem is HDMI2 keeps losing its ability to link to my Oppo player. At first I tried changing cables and then switching cable box/Oppo leads without success. Then I read a LG service bulletin instructing owners to reboot the set to correct such a problem. [Hold down the button behind the indicator light for 60 seconds] . That does bring HDMI2 back to life, but I have to reboot every couple days. I'm hoping the problem goes away with an LG software upgrade. My TV is wall hung. Therefore HDMI3 and many connections other than HDMI1 and HDMI2 are not easily accessible. That's something to consider if you plan to wall hang the TV.

Overall I am very pleased with this TV, the picture is great, sound is powerful, and it works well. The only surprising thing was that it does not have Bluetooth. I had assumed any modern TV would have Bluetooth, but turns out that was a bad assumption. Bought a device which provided Bluetooth but wasn't expecting to have to do that.

Needs a TV stand wider than FOUR FEET!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This LG seemed like a great deal for the money until I inquired about the distance between the legs on the TV, which is 48.5". Since I have a stand that is four feet wide, it is not wide enough to accommodate this TV. I am really disappointed. I may have to buy another Sony, which solved the same problem on a smaller TV that I purchased earlier this year.
