I had a 55" LG with the 'wand' and loved it. I only upgraded because I moved the 55" to the basement and could accommodate a 60". The picture is awesome and it connects to the network via wifi or ethernet quite easily. The pass-through feature for ARC doesn't seem to work as seamlessly with my Onkyo receiver as my previous LG TV.

The built in apps for LG, including free TV channels, were a factor in deciding between brands. The picture quality and adjustments were very good. The side HDMI connections were helpful based on my installation location. I have had good experience with LG quality for years, which ultimately made up my mind.

I researched many TV's and for the money, the features this TV had made it the best choice by far. I also found that Best Buy beat everyone I checked on, but far. It doesn't work with the magic remote, which was the only downside.

Good TV so far!!

After spending so much money for my last tv and it only lasted 5 yrs I researched and this was what I bought. Have had no problems so far. Only complaint I have is it is harder to get apps, Wi-Fi applications done on this tv than my old one. But I just hope it last longer than 5 years!!!!

Upgrade

I'm definitely "behind the times" with technology right now. But this is the first upgrade I have had in years. The 4k picture clears up all of the "fuz" from the regular tv I had before it. I cant wait to get an OLED in February.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.pretty nice TV, looks like it also comes with some free channels of some type provided by LG, kind of like a firestick or something, nothing fancy. i am having a little trouble trying to hook up my cable box, when i hook it up through the regular cable it doesnt recognize it and just shows static, but when i hook it up through the HDMI then it works fine.
