This Tv is solid!. Has all of the bells and whistles for future proof (HDR-10 Dolby Vision etc) The 3D was also a big factor for me since I was replacing my 55' Samsung 3DTVs. Highly recommended. I brought 2 of them!

This TV is just great the picture is so clear and it's a breeze to set up even my grandson loved how clear all of the shows were and the 3d is just awesome, so glad I decided to make this purchase from Best Buy.

I never thought 3D at home could be as awesome as it is! I thoroughly love this TV. Highly recommend. You see things in movies you have never seen before. The way glass looks or water. Everything is so clear.

I switched to this LG after I had some customer service issues with Samsung and I will never buy a different brand. The 3d adapting to regular TV is incredible and the picture can't be beat for the price.

This is a well made television and the picture is gorgeous. It's too bad 3D didn't catch on and I know I'm a rarity but I really enjoy 3D and this TV delivers with an awesome picture and great features.

Last of the great 3D TVs. Has everything you could want, latest 4K HDR and 3D. The sound is a huge improvement, Harmon Kardon 40 watts, sounds great.

Where do I start... picture quality is dynamic!! Sound is very crisp... 3d is mind blowing the 4k.. the 4k.. the 4k... sheeeeessssh... I might double up on another one... maybe 75 in next time

I wanted a 3d tv with a great picture and this tv delivered. 4k quality picture. You can also download all the latest apps on it and stream wirelessly content rrom your pc.

So glad we bought this. Colors are beautiful, sound is exceptional. Easy to use. Not crazy about the remote, the roller ball is hard to use but sure we will get onto it in time.

I looked at many 65" TVs in my budget range and was impressed with several features found in this particular one. First I wanted to have DOLBY Super HDR. While I understand there is still some market flux regarding this standard, this TV is currently compatible with all available standards, and I could not wait for the next round of product releases into the market. Next, I wanted to have a wide viewing angle and the IPS screen is perfect. There is the next higher version of this 65" TV but I do not believe it really offers much value. The next step up for me would be the OLED but as I said, I did not want to spend 2x for that.

I've been using this TV for a month now and I'm very impressed with the bright colors and deep blacks. My cable company only offers 1080P and the TV does a great job up converting the picture to 4k. This TV also receves 4k content from Netflix, Amazon and Vudu. Vudu offers movies for rent and purchase that are presented in 4k Dolby Vision and HDR and when viewed on this TV the picture is awesome. When viewing 3D content I am on the other hand having a slight issue with the 3D frames not aligning correctly in the corners of the screen but overall I would definitely recommend this TV!!

Love the remote control. How easy it is to set up everything. The colors and realism. It has a great picture even though I still do not have a 4k blu ray player.

Hear that 3D was being abandoned, so bought the best 3D tv I could find. Excellent passive 3D from this set. Has all the features one could ask for.

This TV has a beautiful picture and by and large a good suite of apps that are useful. It took a little while to get used to using the remote as the user interface was different than previous TV's I have owned. I did have some issues getting 4K programming with DIRECTV and this TV, however most of the fault lay with DIRECTV. At one stage they recommended using the DIRECTV ready app on this TV however that was not a satisfactory solution. It pretty much made use of the remote a joke, because it would take 3-5 clicks to do what could be done with one click using the native DIRECTV program. I had to discontinue using that feature and had to wait about a month for DIRECTV to finally solve their software issues.

Went into the store and the sale person suggested the LG product for several reason over other brands. LG has 3D and the others brands I was looking at did not and the LG was cheaper. The picture is great! Remote is easy to use. I have it hanging above my fireplace and the TV is beautiful.

Amazing picture and 3d that surpasses the movie theatre. Hopefully (LG) will co to use making their tv's with the 3d feature going forward

The tv is nice looking, and relatively thin for a wall mount. There are thinner tv's and some not so thin. The 2 biggest issues I have are light bleed and 3D quality. Perhaps I got a bad unit, but I have white light bleed in the upper left corner when watching movies, and serious light bleed when the majority of the screen is black and some sort of image is displayed on the screen. For example, when the LG symbol shows (or a movie's logo), I see a faded white "shadow" where the logo or image is from top to bottom. It is annoying, but when watching a movie or tv show, that isn't noticed, and the picture is extremely clear. I didn't think I would notice a difference over my previous 1080P tv (3D LG), but I do... and I admit it is a great picture. That is unless you are watching a 3D movie. I have watched at least 3 different 3D movies, and in all of them there was ghosting. Some worse than others. I could stand in the middle of the tv, and adjust my height properly to get the right alignment so I had the best angle for 3D. And when in that spot it was a good 3d image. However, compared to my previous LG tv, this one suffers in the 3D considerably. I could watch my old one at far greater angles to the left or right with no ghosting. I am disappointed in this the most. I will try to see if I can find anything to correct the viewing angle in the settings and online, but I at this point I can't say the 3D option on this model is worth the additional cost over the non 3D model. Unless you are sitting in the best angle directly in front of the tv, which isn't always possible when you have several people trying to watch it, I find the 3D feature mediocre at best. There are lots of options for setting the picture quality, and other settings for the tv, so it is quite customizable to your taste, and for different types of use (movies, sports, games, etc). Overall picture quality is fantastic, except for 3D. But seeing that 3D is likely going to die soon, I am not sure it really makes much difference long term, I will just have to live with it for the movies I watch or exchange it for another passive tv which is not easy to do staying in the same price range.

the LG 65UH8500 has all the best features of both previous and next generation TVs: 3D, HDR (both systems HDR10 and DolbyVision), 4K Super (Ultra) resolution, upsampling, Smart TV functions and the magic remote. It also has better off-angle viewing than most of the competition

What a great tv the picture is amazing and the 3d will knock your socks off. The last of the 3d tv's lg will produce unfortunately

Best picture and other features for the price. I have been looking and reading reviews and this is the best 3d tv for your money.
