This is my first LG TV usually a Sony or Samsung buyer. So far this TV is pretty amazing. Would have given 5 stars but I need to see how this TV holds up over time. This is an excellent TV and I am surprised at the quality. If you get a chance to grab one of these get one cause you will enjoy the picture quality.

Looking at several TV's lately, we were looking for a quality tv, but not at the quality 5k plus price tag. We were torn at the store and noticed that we could not find the right tv for us at the time and when walking out we passed by this tv on display and unnoticed the price right away! A 65 inch 9 series with a 240 trumotion refresh rate!!! Great audio! For 2,000!! And to make things even better it can with a free LG 4K player! What a deal. We order the tv and it came 3 days later. We picked it up and set it up in our living room. Right away the set up was a breeze, and smart technology was a snap. Not as interactive with my Apple iPhone as I was hoping, but a really good deal none the less! Great display, easy to use at an affordable price. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Beautiful when the image is mostly midtones or brighter. Holds its brightness at fairly wide angles. Very gray and disappointing in moody low light scenes, as occur in every TV show or movie I love. The washed out blacks ARE very angle dependent so for those scenes, don't sit off axis. And yes, I had Best Buy calibrate my screen. So most scenes get an A. Some important scenes get a D in my book. Total GPA is C+ for me but if you watch mainly bright shows like sports you will love it.

This new LG SJ9500 spot an amazing 10bit display with brilliant colors (8 bit full Chroma 4:4:4 or 10bit 4:2:2 or even 12bit 4:2:0) and pretty decent luminosity. While it is ideal for living area is not quite decent for dark room/media room since the light bleeding can be very annoying, reason for not giving full 5 starts. Overall I'm very very pleased of this TV, I really enjoy the HDR and Dolby Vision movies on Netflix, Vudu and Amazon. I did pair it with the LG SJ9 and I should say it was a great buy due to the promotion on-going I saved 300$ on the SJ9 and I could not be happier with the ratio quality per bucks. The SJ9 supports Dolby ATMOS, however only VUDU is capable to bitstream the ATMSO to the soundbar at this moment. Netflix does not support it! So disappointed! I spent quite some time with Netflix support and they insisted that the TV must support ATMOS to be able to bitstream the audio to another device, which does not make sense for me. I pointed out that Vudu does that, but seems they did not care much.

THIS FLAT SCREEN TV IS AMAZING. CLARITY AND COLOR IS SO SHARP AND EASE OF USE!!! SMART TV IS DEFINITELY THE WAY TO GO! IT HAS AMAZON BUILT IN THE TV WHICH AVOID PURCHASING THE FIRE STICK......AWESOME!

I bought this TV and ultimately ended up returning it. The 4k resolution was nice and the interface was super fast particularly when browsing netflix. The problem is the light bleed is terrible. I have an entry level 4k samsung 40" that cost around $400 that has better blacks and almost no light bleed. When watching credits it is most evident, the black closest to the white credits is varying shades of dark grey and progressively gets darker the further you go out. It can also be seen as halos in other dark screens. I ultimately purchased the OLED65C7P for $1000 more. It was a hefty increase in price that I wasn't thrilled about, but the change in quality is dramatic.

I love my LG. The size is perfect for a family room. The picture quality is unrivaled. I wanted the higher refresh rate because I prefer to watch sports, espcially football. No ghosting or lag. Colors are rich, picture is sharp & crisp.

It's great 4K TV. Everything looks great except there are some light bleeding. If the power saving mode is on and watching the black screen, it will look weird because of light bleeding. Other than that it shows great picture image and quality. WebOS is fast too.

I've never owned an LG TV until this unit. It gets a great picture and it's easy to set up. I'm very happy with this TV and the price I paid for it

Do you ever have trouble reading things on the screen such as sub-titles or program descriptions and you wish that the letters were bigger? Then this is the TV for you! It has a zoom and focus feature that lets you enlarge any part of the screen whenever you want and for however long you want. This feature is very easy to use on the remote control. Also the picture is very crisp and clear and awesome. The sound is good too. All around a great TV with a sight aid that can make all the difference!

This is a great tv, with wonderful quality. However, the built in wand/cursor does linger on the screen too long, and the service doesn't work well with a TiVo

I am very happy with this purchase. Also got it with a great sale price. I have several LG products all are performing well. Picture is great, as a professional photographer for 35 years and graphic artist I require a better than great picture. I process images on 24" and 27" 4k LG monitors. I then check the images on this 65" 4k TV to make sure the images will enlarge to 40"x60".

Bought this one to replace a similar Sony product and BOY what a difference! Picture quality is outstanding (and it hasn't even been calibrated yet). Absolutely nothing bad to say about this tv, except for maybe the remote control which is a little clumsy to use, but ok I guess.

Cool thin bezel tv from a great brand long kast tv

Picture looks good, and the one time I was able to send 4k through it, it was real good, but I need more time to tweek and understand the operations of the various settings. The pic has gotten better as the set is broken in but I feel once I have operations down it will be wonderful The set audio is very strong on it's own, so I don't have to use big system all the time.

Great picture-color & definition! Set up was easy with the tv's wizard system. Would highly recommend

Great picture. Colors and HD were far better than the 57" rear projection unit that I replaced. I already had surround, but the LG audio is more than acceptable as a primary audio source. WIFI technology was easy to set up. I also use the OTA tuner with a power assisted outdoor antenna that picks up all the available signals in my area. TV mounted onto a brick fireplace with minimal problems. After (1) month no performance issues.

The picture quality is great. Beautiful Images that seem real. It almost gives dimension to the scenes.
