I bought this tv on sale after doing some research on tvs similarly priced and found this to be the best option for what I was looking for. That being said, it's not perfect. Let me discuss pros and cons...
Pros:
-The installed apps load quickly and work great without issue; Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube are the ones I use most frequently
-Picture quality is great overall and what you'd expect from a 4K
-Picture looks great when viewed from any angle
-Sleek design and looks nice
-Pairs nicely with LG sound bar
Cons:
-Blacks don't look as good as other 4Ks
-Videos continue to run in the YouTube app after closing out if you don't stop the video you were watching (I came close to going over my data cap for this reason); but luckily I figured out this was the cause of the extra data used
Overall, this is a good choice for a budget minded person looking to get a 4K tv.

My mom wanted a TV for her birthday. I got her this smarty TV because of the price of in Stock TV's at the store. Took it over to her house and set it up. The setup process was easy enough. Got the Netflix going, antenna set up. The interface seems to make sense. The lack of magic remote is terrible, but the TV has a great picture. Her internet isn't fast enough for 4k yet, but I ran it through my 4g smarty phone to test. I know house of cards isn't the best test for 4k, but it looked fantastic. I was looking for smurfs 2, but I guess the Netflix no longer has it. Gave her my Blu-ray player and put Avatar on. The upscaling must work well, because the picture was impressive. It took a while to find where they hide the trumotion option in the menu. Had to turn it off because it makes me sea sick. When you turn on the Blu-ray player, the TV recognizes it and asks if you want that input. Very helpful for my technologically challenged mom. After spending 4 hours with the TV, I now want one. I think it would look great in my tiny living room.

Came in not expecting to buy this large of a TV but could not pass up the excellent price! Did not want to lose the deal so paid for it on the spot and had to come back the next day to pick up. Now that it is up on my wall, I can't imagine not having it. The picture is beautiful! Easy install, but I did pay a handyman to make sure it was securely mounted on the wall. Very pleased... who wants a smaller TV these days anyway!

Purchased Floor Model

I was able to purchase the model off of the floor since they no longer had any in stock. That being said i got a pretty good deal. Downside was that it didn't come with a stand, instruction booklet or remote.
I was able to download the instructions online, i knew i was going to wall mount it so that wasn't an issue and found the remote online for $15 (while it was shipping I used the mirror phone feature on the tv to get the settings where I wanted them).
So far no complaints. Picture is good, haven't noticed any lag (I've played a few action movies in BluRay ie transformers, Jason Bourne, Bond etc)
For the price I paid, the freatures and how it's performed so far i'm happy. Is it the new LG top of the line model? No. But it has a bunch of bells and whistles that make it nice.
Downside was that it's smart feature can't get HBO go....kind of a Pain, but luckily My XBOX and Roku are able to make up for that lack.

This LG tv has a good picture.
It was the best sound of all the TV's I've tried...which is 3 of the 4k 65inch.
One was Samsung
One was Sony
and this one.
Samsung had the best picture (brightest and clearest). Had a nice sleek easy to use remote...which is new for them.
The sound was fair. Plenty loud and clear, but not full and rich.
The Samsung only allowed for one audio source at a time- either internal speakers or external. I like using both at the same time...it's a big feature to me.
The blacks in the Samsung weren't the best out of the box but I was able to work it out pretty much...but it was by darkening and softening the picture, but the picture was still good.
My past experience with Samsung affected my decision. I didn't have good luck with the last 3 Samsung's I have purchased. All went bad before I was ready to get rid of them....hence this purchase of a new tv now.
Sony had a great live football feature, but other than that I didn't like it at all. Sound was horrible. Good picture, good black levels, and the fastest response time for sure. A better processor I believe, but it just didn't stand out in any way compared to the others...and again the sound..awful. As a side note, the Sony does allow for external speakers, and at the same time as internal.
LG- worst response time, decent blacks, good picture, super sound. $200 cheaper than the sony, and about $50 cheaper than the Samsung.
Samsung had the best browser, LG second, and Sony had a google/android type user interface...but I didn't like it...and i'm an android/google fan. It was just sort of clunky with the remote instead of a touchscreen like a phone or tablet. So are the browsers on the other TV's but not as bad to me.
I chose this LG because although it wasn't the best in every feature, it was best in some, and good in others, and offered all the features I wanted, and at the best price.
If you are looking for a tv to mostly watch football on, get the sony.
If you are looking for a tv to play games on, get the Samsung.
If you want an all around tv with great sound, get this LG.
I had issues with both the Samsung and sony.
the Samsung would not change modes on some movies and would stretch out the screen or squish it together. even tech support couldn't help.
The sony wouldn't play any games in 4k... only 1080p..no matter what I tried. LG and Samsung both played in 4k perfectly.
The Samsung was definitely pickier about HDMI cables though. It had white speckles with the cheaper cables, where as the LG and sony did not.
Hope this helps!!

Comes with free TV channels with Channel Plus

This TV has a great picture but that is not the best part of the TV. It is a smart TV and the WEB OS 3.0 that come with the TV also brings along Channel Plus. Once you get the TV set up for your over the air channels you can go into the settings and turn on Channel Plus. Channel Plus adds about 70 crystal clear channels for FREE! The channels range from Outdoor TV, Golf, GQ, Fox Sports, Sports Illustrated, Field and Stream, Bloomberg to many many more. If you are wanting to cut the cord this is good start. The unit has youtube, hulu, netflix, and many more apps also that you can download to keep the cable and satellite company's out of your pockets. I have satellite free for two months and in a few more months this TV will pay for itself. The pictures is very clear and the 4k resolution really give you the wow factor when watching 4k content. I recommend the Geek Squad extended warranty if you purchase. This will help if you get a bad one.

The picture on this set is very good, but not the best I've seen for a 4K set. It has a pleasing design and a very complicated menu system. I have it wall mounted, so it is not easy getting to the connections in the rear. There are no RCA audio out jacks, so if you have an idea of using these, don't. The sound is somewhat below average, and adjusting it by using the sound menu seems to do nothing, so be prepared to add some kind of external seaker or sound bar if you want to improve it. Most of these sound bars sell for about $200 for a good one. This model is NOT bluetooth, and I would not recommend it because of that. Almost all external devices are now bluetooth, which in my opinion should be standard on modern day TV's. I learned this through experience. Also, I think this model may be going out of production, so if you do decide to buy it, ask the sales people about it.

After viewing about 5 TV's, our family finally decided on this one. For the size of the TV, it was a great price! Pros: Excellent clarity, Thin, stylish, Sound is great, many features to access the TV with the cell phone. Cons: Pandora has not been given the license to have on this TV. Highly disappointed on this one!
Overall, we enjoy the TV considering we have never owned a TV this fancy or grew up with a TV like this! I would recommend if you cannot afford something more than $2000. :)

I purchased this due to price and positive reviews. Picture is great and the apps are decent. The Sony 65 inch was $400 more and I think the pictures would be similar so I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this tv. The picture and sound is great! I love that it is a smart tv and I no longer have to hookup extra stuff to stream movies.
The only this I don't like is the fact that there is little to no memory. What it does have is mostly taken up by pre-installed apps.

Great buy for the price. Had a Vizio p55 had problems. Spent $200 more for this lg 65''..glad the Vizio had problems. My only negative comment is Tru motion has motion blurr with the smooth and clear options, unless it's on the user option and judder is about 4 it doesn't have the full near 4k picture quality it's about 3/4 . This could very well be the 120 mhz refresh rate. The Vizio had 240 mhz and the picture motion was smoother but the 4k upscale quality was only good with things that were 1080p. So if you have some extra money to spend i would recommend a Lg 240 mhz and that would be 5stars.
