Great TV For the Price

I've been consistently impressed with LG 4K TVs for the prices they've been listed for. I have both the 55" and the 65". I opted to hold off on getting a HDR-enabled TV since the price is pretty high at that tier, so this was a perfect compromise for me since it has 4K and looks darn good.

I bought this on an impulse just because I wanted a larger TV. I had previously purchased a smaller LG TV and was perfectly happy with its performance. This was no different. It was easy to set up, played beautifully out-of-the-box and has worked ever since. I'd recommend this to everyone.

Nice TV. Picture is great considering I'm using over the air antenna and was good price for 65 inch. The operating system is webos and is OK. Not great. TV stalls and reboots twice an evening even after updating OS. Not huge deal but a little frustrating at the same time

The TV is very thin and light while still putting out a beautiful 4K image, the HDR processing really does take things to the next level in supported apps and connected devices, and the settings can be changed to perfect your image even more, depending on your preferences.

I have a 47" Vizio LED TV from 2014 that used to be my primary TV. Didn't really have a problem with it other than the fact that when I moved into my new apartment it looked unusually small atop of the fireplace mantle. It felt so small. That thought brought about the journey which brings me here today to tell you that this LG TV is fantastic.
Like I said, no problems with the Vizio. Picture was fine, size was never a problem before, color was fine, etc. I was content. But I plugged this new TV in and started one of my favorite shows and my mind went *pop*. I am shocked at how much better televisions have gotten over the years. It honestly felt too surreal for the first hour or so, but you adjust.
I won't get into the details, other people have. But just on a top level, I was very surprised by the quality and am incredibly satisfied.
Context: I am a photographer, software engineer with a Comp Sci. BSc.

I was originally looking for a Samsung because of what I have been told from my friends, but this LG looked better in the store and at a much better price. I was very please with the results and couldn't be happier with my choice. Just hope it works for years to come.

Brilliant picture, easy to set up and program, very competitive price, free delivery, and I read the reviews before selecting. I trust Best Buy and am thoroughly satisfied with the t.v. Hooked up to 5.1 surround it makes for a stunning visual presentation. Bravo.

We looked at many 4K TVs before buying the LG 65" LCD. We have a couple of Samsung TVs but I just couldn't spend the extra cash for a TV that look just as good. This TV has a great picture, is easy to set up and looks great. Save the money and get the LG.

4K Upgrading

I was in the market to upgrade my total system to 4K. After looking at various 4K brands, and different types of technology and saw this would be on sale, I made my purchase. After setting up to my liking I saw that I needed the 4K dvd player on sale, and a 4K surround sound system as well which was also on sale. This system is great and I really love the extra wide field of view when watching tv and doing other things in the room. You do not have to be right in front of the tv. Another nice feature is the tv now turns on and off the surround sound system. Picture quality is great. Now I am waiting on our dsl to upgrade to high speed so we can stream 4K movies, or watch with our 4K dvd player.

My son broke my previous smart tv so to punish him I made him clean & do chores for 4 months, once done he asked about a replacement, me not wanted to spend too much but wanting something over 60" when this deal came (right before the Super Bowl) 24 mo financing & haul away my broken one, 70" Smart 1080 + use my reward points, I pulled the trigger. What isn't there to say? Picture-Awesome, I messed with the settings. Sound- 2 10W speakers- usually with these flat screens the sound is blah. No so with this. Browser-I think my dual band New Comcast Router might've helped, but it is speedy.
Only bads- Remote low cost cookie cutter look, but it suffices. Can't get into settings w/o remote- and minorly no Bluetooth or 3.5 MM jack- in which I used on my previous for a BT transmitter.
Overall- I got it for 899 with free shipping & 15$ to haul away my old one= WINNING.

One of the first IoT devices in my home. I was amazed at the ease of casting media from my iPhone to the TV with zero setup or configure beyond the initial adding of the TV to my home network (which took about 5 minutes). Great price for a really nice TV.

We just purchased the LG - 65" LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV & have been very happy with it thus far. The picture is very sharp & sound is good. The only limitation we've seen thus far is that the sound volume via the TV alone is a little bit limited if you are using the TV in a large room. We will probably add a sound bar to the TV & have already hooked up the TV to our 5.1 stereo, but you must mute the TV to use the sound via the analog stereo or you will have somewhat of an asynchronous sound between the digital sound TV & analog stereo. Even with this, I would still recommend this TV as a great value for the good price we got at Best Buy.

Highly recommend this tv- great quality and very reasonable cost. Only recommendation is DEFINITELY turn off the TruMotion option before watching anything on it. That is the worst feature ever- everything on the tv looks like a soap opera.

a great picture at an even better price. this is the third 4K TV that I own in different houses. This was the best price and excellent quality. One downside, not as many HDMI ports as my Sony or Samsung but I don't need them for this TV.

This television is large and bright. Even in extremely naturally lit rooms it is able to show almost all television without issue. The controls are very intuitive, and it has a nice suite of features. Certainly worth the cost.

This TV was a great purchase Not only was the price extremely affordable but the picture quality is perfect and even the remote control is a little cheap and the buttons are close together but it works well with the smartphone app which is by far better than any remote you get with the TV anyway
