Right out of the box without any adjustments you can see the difference between this set and any non-OLED it replaces. You see colors, you see objects and you see detail that was missing from your 1080P set. If you are watching reality TV shows, then this set is a waste of money. But for those who watch movies, I believe the difference is worth the price. It also streams Netflix and Amazon 4K shows. It automatically recognizes HDR and Dolby Vision from these sources. The 3D works fine on this set and is certainly an improvement over the 3D on a 1080P set, although I assume 3D will be gone soon since only LG and Vizio still have 3D sets. I am anxious to try a 4K BluRay Player with HDR. The difference will not be in the picture quality and detail as the set upscales regular BluRay discs without problems. Anxious to see if the HDR makes a difference. I have not used the Web OS except for watching streaming services so cannot really judge that experience versus other sets. The price is high, but for those who would have the whole theatre experience with a 5.1 or 7.1 set up, then I think you will find this worth it.

Im fan for electronics special the tvs and this tv is the best tv i ever buy the price realy deserv'it, have outstanding blacks and colors special with netflix 4k or 4k with HDR movies and this tv upscale regular HD close to 4k, 3D looks great to and the surface is very easy and fast, also have a great sound you dont gonna need a sound bar, OLED is the best HIGLY RECOMENDED!!

Awesome Picture. Used YouTube calibration videos to fine tune the many picture adjustments on this TV. After some more fine tuning to my personal preferences, I am delighted with picture quality. Just wish the screen had more of a mat finish. During the day window reflections are very apparent and at night you need lights off or placed in positions that they don't reflect in the viewing area. Front facing speaker sound bar on this TV give it some of the best built in sound available on TVs today. I have a good surround sound system but don't see a need to use it for watching news and general TV viewing. This is my 3rd Large TV capable of 3D. Just watched Star Wars the Force Awakens in 3D. Awesome! Best 3D experience so far. Glasses were comfortable. The remote for this TV is not IR. Must be blue tooth? I use a Universal remote. There was no way to teach the IR commands to my remote. After much experimenting I was able to find enough codes to operate most of the functions and many extra functions of the supplied remote. The TV does respond to the Universal Remote IR commands.

I wanted thus TV for a long time, and when the price dropped I finally "pulled the plug" and bought it. It is everything the reviews say it is, The colors and contrast are amazing, and the detail is incredible. I really wanted a 3D TV, and it's the best I've ever seen, even better than the theater. I am also enjoying the Summer Olympics more than ever, since everything is so finely detailed and the bright and vivid colors of the games just explode. I must say that I've never been a fan of basketball on TV, but I couldn't take my eyes off the US team competing against Brazil. The bright green of the contest has never been so beautiful on a screen of mine, and every detail of the venue and the players was crystal clear. It really is the Best buy ever.

I love this tv! Is my first OLED tv and I'm coming from a really nice Samsung LED tv. There is really no comparison to any tv I've seen! Picture quality is amazing! And I do care for 3D, and this tv has the best 3D out there. So much better and convenient than the active 3D TVs I've owned. And because is a 4K tv, the 3D looks truly 1080P on each eye, whereas in a 1080p tv like my Samsung, 3D is good but not as great, and this TV has way less to non 'ghosting' effect. The 'sound bar' attached to the tv sounds really good, the only complaint is that sometimes with some apps, the volume seems to gets lower than with another apps... including apps in the Apple TV, PS4 Pro or the tv apps... I think that's on the app fault, or it naught be some configuration on my tv, it I haven't figure it out yet... again, is just a small thing that fixes itself by turning the volume up... but trust me, this is the best tv ever! At $4000 plus tax on "sale" is still very expensive, but for me and my spouse, it's worth every penny!

Superb image quality and best 3D production without ghosting. The blacks are as good as my Pioneer Elite and Panasonic high end plasma Flat screens. The OPPO UDP-203 4K UHD Blu-ray Player is a great compliment to the LG OLED65E6P. (Review - Sound & Vision Magazine - March 2017)

I was more impressed by the overall TV after having gotten it to my Niece & Nephew's home and all set up to watch. Much more impressive than just checking them out at the various electronics stores.. Have been looking and checking reviews for almost a year comparing the Sony and LG and others.. Others may come sort of close but not really can compare to the OLED and you pay the extra price -IT IS WORTH IT... Major bonus is the 3D with PASSIVE glasses and way better than watching in the movie the theater... So now my niece and her family have the 65" and all 4 of her kids just rave about it to their friends. Now to get another one (2016 model since 2017s do not have 3D for this years line up) just for myself.

The OLED is very nice, Great Picture! The 3D is awesome. I thought it would bother me as I easily get migraines but it doesn't. The set up is easy. The interactive is great and love being able to get Netflix and VUDU right from the TV Screen. Still getting used to some of the movements on screen and finding the right Picture source. But all in all we are very happy

This is the best 65" television ever made. It also is the best 3d tv ever. Passive 3d on a 4k tv should be standard. Don't waste your time on active 3d. You cannot beat the Black levels on this tv, period! Best picture of all television sets. The only hindrance is price

As of the writing of this review, after months of research, I firmly believe this to be the best tv money can buy. Here's a breakdown; Pros: -unbelievable deep blacks and contrast -4K -HDR (both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision) -unreal popping 3D -great software Cons: -light banding (although it seems to get better after the tv is run for several hours -occasional white flash (it's unacceptable, but leaving 5 star rating because I assuming that LG will fix issue via a firmware update or hardware module replacement) Good resource for info on tv and calibration tips: AVSForum 65E6P owners thread.

I read a lot of reviews and could not understand what all the hype was about until I saw this TV at Best Buy. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! When I read about the deepness of the black, it doesn't do it justice as you have to see it to really know what a game changer it is. Add to that the 4K resolution and this thing is truely stunning. One thing that makes this model stand out above this year's newer model is that the E6 is capable of 3D while the E7 is not. I tried the 3D on it and it is even better than that you'd see in a movie theater!!!

We had the flagship Samsung 4K TV before this one. The picture was bad when the scenes were dark. A white moon on a black sky caused a big halo effect around the moon. The OLED picture is pixel perfect. 4K content is stunning. This is the second LG OLED we got. The first was replaced by Best Buy after it suffered burn in (the only downside of OLED). The 2019 model has better software that has eliminated any burn in on the new TV, so far. Buy the Best Buy warranty with this TV. It’s insurance well worth it.

The Oleds are great TV'S but there only as good as the feed going to them. If you only watch Comcast or directv your better of saving $2500 and buying a Samsung ks8500 or 8000 series. If you like watching movies this is the tv for you. The only tv that's better is maybe Sony z series but then your actually paying another $1000. The only complaint I would have is the motion is terrible when watching standard tv on some channels.

I was debating between this and the Sony Z9. One determine factor was price as the LG E6 was about 2k less it made the decision a little easier. 3D was also a factor as we have a collection of 3D movies and enjoy 3D. Looks good out of the box on the expert settings with minor adjustments I had the TV calibrated and now it it looks fantastic. I wish there were more than 4 HDMI inputs as my AV receiver supports 4k pass through but not HDPC 2.2. May need to get a switch in the future. The TV detects what is connected and automatically sets up the input and remote for that device. You can also manually assign a device to an input. Almost two months in and I have no real complaints. The magic remote is really nice. Wish there were a few more options so it can be a truly universal remote, like buttons for DVD, Menu etc. The speakers are not too bad, but I have mine hocked up to a Yamaha RX A3030 receiver. Because we lose power during sever weather, I have a large UPS hooked up. With the AV receiver turned off I can watch TV twice as long using the TV speakers (about 90 minutes vs 40 withe the receiver on). Overall I am more than happy with my purchase. The Geek Squad tech that calibrated the TV was very friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and why it was done the way it was. Not only would I recommend this TV but I have done so several times now. And to buy it from Best buy.

This OLED TV has the best picture I have seen. I bought this for the 3D, but the OLED display is outstanding. Makes all my movies look great! Wanted to get a passive 3D tv before they all disappeared. The 3d on this TV totally beats the active 3D. Plus the glasses are so cheap. I already have a bunch of them from seeing 3D movies in theaters. The 3D actually looks better than it did at the theater. Hoping they continue to make 3d movies for home viewing.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing a new TV and this was the best reviewed TV, so I purchased the OLED65E6P. The black level and dark scenes were very important to me and I'm super happy with that on anything I watch. The TV is the best I've owned and I've owned many! Plasma, LCD, LED are no match for this OLED TV. The TV's apps are also great making it easy to watch Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Plex, local DLNA, etc... There's nothing it can't do! Once you've seen UHD HDR on this TV you won't want to watch anything else. Buy it now and don't think twice.

This tv exceeds all expectations for a 3D OLED screen. Amazing picture quality. It's the best tv I've ever seen! The built in sound is awesome!

Everything about this TV is beyond incredible, from the styling to the fantastic OLED picture. I would give it an absolutely unqualified thumbs up; however, It developed a stuck green pixel just after my Best Buy return period ended. Annoyingly, LG's warranty will not replace a TV unless it has multiple stuck or dead pixels. Fortunately this flaw is mostly noticeable when the TV is first turned on, and then dims to a point that I can usually ignore. Please note when it comes to TVs and computer displays I am a fanatic about perfection, so what annoys me might not bother you at all. Just wanted to make sure in the future purchasers are aware that what LG deems acceptable may or may not be acceptable to you in terms of flaws.

I absolutely LOVE the picture on this TV! We have another 4K TV that is not an OLED and it has a nice picture, but not even close the the quality on this set. We purchased this model since it still comes with the 3D. Our previous television was an active 3D model, which was more of a pain, this new set is passive 3D and is easier to use. With the picture quality it feels like you are in the movie. The smart features are easy to use and we haven't had any issues with it so far. Highly recommend!!
