A touch disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV after having returned the E6. My main issues with the E6 was its motion processing. I spoke with the LG rep at BB and asked if the G6 was any better regarding this. Was told yes and also about it being brighter than the E6. The only difference I noted from the E6 was that the HDR looking a tad better on the G6. Than and the sound ( obviously). I did not think the G6 was worth the price difference ( compared to E6). Also the haloing is worse on the G6 I have

Amazing OLED Panel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this 65 inch E6 OLED TV is awesome! i decided to get one of these because it finally went on sale, im not gonna lie, there is no way i would have been able to afford $5,500 plus a 5 year replacement warranty purchase that i was able to add for less then the E6's retail price, well at least not in cash lol. anyways........ i originally wanted to get a 78 inch Samsung QLED Q9 EDGE LIT not (Full Array), but then found out that the Flagship Q9 was only going to be available in a 55 inch for $2,999.99, a 65 inch model for $6,999.99 and finally an 88 inch for $19,999.99. when i found out of those prices, as a BIG Samsung fan i found that to be unjustified, specially since they basically renamed the 2015 SUHD Quantum Dot TECH "QLED" for 2017. i have a Samsung UN65JS8500 that is an Edge Lit 4K TV just like the new 2017 QLED's and its awesome and i really do enjoy watching my movies and game console play on it but again its Edge Lit which mean, yes you do indeed get a brighter picture, more vibrant colors due to the Quantum Dot Tech but dark gray scale black levels which is BAD! so i decided to turn to LG when i finally got to see the E6 for the first time and at $3,499.99 it was a great move and an offer i just couldn't refuse. i couldn't believe my eyes on the nice picture quality, the reason for the 4 stars is because though the panel is beautiful when it comes to black levels, it doesn't do that great when it comes to brightness and the color is "a bit" under saturated even after calibration vs the JS8500, the other part of that 4 star rating is also because there is no way for me to turn off this Auto Dimming feature it has when the panel detects lighting from its front sensor in the living room. so when the lights are off it automatically darkens up the panel when i actually want it bright to show off the Black levels to my Guest. All energy saving settings are OFF and the OLED Lighting is at 100% so im not sure if its just my panel but this one does that. other then that its an awesome panel and i would highly recommend it. As for permanent (BURN IN) damage or temporary (IMAGE RETENTION) on the OLED E6, we have not experienced that yet, however we are very cautious about it as we read many reviews prior to buying an OLED 4K TV and turn the TV off when we have a show on pause specifically on our PS4 or Dish Hopper as those devices DO NOT have a screen saver to prevent burn in on any TV. The only devices we have that do have a screen saver and activate after a couple of minutes to prevent burn on is our Samsung UBD-K8500 4k bluray player and the built in Apps on the E6 that turn on in about 3 minutes after the E6 detects no voltage signal on the HDMI cables. As for my Samsung UN65JS8500, it is now part of my Bedroom but my 65 inch OLED E6 is the star of my home. i advice you to get one while they are still on sale and before they are GONE and the new 2017 models come in with an even higher price tag. thank you Bestbuy and CITI Bank for the 24 months No Interest Financing. i look forward to paying off the tv in 12 months instead of 24 months and buy a higher end A/V Receiver. to pair with my Klipsch Reference Premier Home Theater Speakers. current Yamaha RXA740 is not HDCP 2.2 compatible and its a pain to deal with. but still sounds good.

Simply Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking at this TV, you should already have an idea of what you're looking at and for. This is hands down the BEST TV you can buy, 2nd only to its big brother the G6. Keep in mind however, the display on the G6, in terms of picture quality, is IDENTICAL to the E6. The biggest difference between the two models is the TV speaker. Now I didn't give much thought about the TVs speaker to begin with because i already have surround sound system but when I turned on the TV for the first time and watched a movie before I connected the surround sound, I was VERY surprised and impressed. BY FAR the best sound I have ever heard from a TV speaker. My previous TV being a pioneer kuro elite. While the sound is actually amazing, its not what you buy this TV for, You buy this TV for the picture. The best picture money can buy.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is the best TV I have ever purchased. Love the OLED. I have trouble seeing scenes that are dark or mostly black. I could only see a blank screen. Don't have that problem with this TV, the OLED has made watching enjoyable. Aside from the black scenes the OLED has astounding brightness and clarity. Worth every penny I spent.

Great Picture in a Sun filled Room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV still has a nice bright picture even in a sun filled room and your viewing angle will not impact the quality of the picture. Love the fact that it comes with a decent speaker. But if you like better sound, I recommend purchasing a sound bar. We haven't tried the 3D yet, but when we do I'll update the review.

Great TV. Great picture.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent TV. We replaced a plasma and have not been disappointed, even in a room with full light. The colors and definition are excellent. My wife watches a lot of tennis and there has yet to experience any motion blurring.

Awesome TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews on this tv before purchasing and believed this to be the best on the market. I was not disappointed. This tv lives up to all the reviews and hypes. Picture is awesome and even though I have a sound system, the built in speakers work very well. A little pricey, but well worth it!

Amazing Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have had this now for over a month. It has been calibrated (highly recommend that service) and the image quality is amazing. Even standard 1080 programs look better than before. You have not seen House of Cards until you have seen in 4K HDR I had a 2012 model LG LCD 55" 3D model and the 3D on this one knocks it out of the park. Avatar, it is like I am there look out a window. really draws you in to the movie. Web0S is good and the apps are adequate. I use an Nvida Shield TV so not worried about the number or quality of the apps on LG TVs other than things like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube for delivery of 4K Content. The "Magic" remote is nice. Wish it were backlit. When you select a HDMI Input the remote will switch functions and be come a remote for that device. When I select the HDMI port that the Shield is connected to than the remote becomes a Shield remote. Works great for all the basic functions and some of the more advance functions. Overall I am more than happy with my purchase.

Awesome TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been nothing but thrilled with this remarkable television. The picture quality is certainly the best I've ever seen, particularly when streaming HDR content. I like the fact that it can handle both HDR10 and Dolby Vision formats so I hope the set will be relatively future-proof for a few years at least. I plan on getting it professionally calibrated to see if it gets even better, though I can't imagine that making a substantial difference. I could well be wrong, I have been before! :) But buying this TV was no mistake.

Mother of GOD!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yeah this is basically the BEST TV on Planet Earth! Costs a chunk of change but worth it in the end. I use my TV everyday so it justifies the money in my opinion. OLED TV's are the love children of Plasma and LED TV's!

This TV is exactly what I was looking for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture on my new LG TV is crisp and clear. I love 3-D movies and this TV is wonderful to watch. It is almost perfect. The love the built-in sound bar but I do not like the fact that I cannot use my earphones for cable and internet. For instance, if you switch from the last show you recorded or are watching on cable to Netflix, the earphones will not work on Netflix. They do on my older 65" Samsung with no problem. Would I recommend this TV to a friend? No. Wait awhile. Maybe the manufacturer will wake up.

Amazing...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG OLED makes the previous top LCD I owned "elite" look comical. Amazing visual color quality. I have the three 4k channels DirecTV offers, and amazed on how you can zoom in (on the remote) to see even more detail. Didn't see much noticeable change in the 2017 model.

As Good as TVs Get
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The black levels are great on this TV, even better than those you could get on the best plasma TVs. Very natural colors with a depth to the image that is unsurpassed. The only con on this TV is because the color is so realistic, you will want to have it calibrated after 300-hours of use.

LG OLED 65 is fabulous.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This OLED has lived up to all of the hype surrounding it. CNET said it has the best picture on the market and they were correct. We had an issue with our first TV but Best Buy promptly remedied the problem and we love this TV and Best Buy.
