Customers express satisfaction with the picture quality, particularly the black levels and contrast, of this 65-inch OLED TV, frequently praising its HDR capabilities and ease of use. However, some customers cite the high price as a drawback, and a few mention concerns about motion handling and potential burn-in issues over extended use. The lack of 3D functionality is also noted by some buyers.

I have viewed several friends and family members 4K TV'S this model is by far the winner. Price versus quality of image it is a hand down winner. If you are in the market don't settle for less quality, Best Buy is running awesome sale with surround sound purchase.

Read multiple reviews on the highest rated 4k tv's and this one kept coming out on top. While you can find other tv's for less, this one has an amazing picture. Pair it with a good home theater surround sound system and you'll never go out to the movies again!

You can't appreciate the quality of the picture or the functionality of this TV until you've had it for several weeks. This is one of the best investments I've made in years. Couple it with a solid sound system and it's truly a top quality home theater system.

OLED Are The Best TV's

I originally wanted a mid priced LED TV, but when I got it home, I noticed from my typical viewing angle (off to the side a bit), the picture quality significantly dropped off to where the picture was not acceptable.
I did some research on viewing angles and the OLED's were not only best in class for picture quality, but viewing angles as well. This TV has amazing black levels and color saturation. The smart TV GUI is intuitive and the remote has a cool gyroscopic pointer that is useful. Plenty of picture tweaking capability and sleek minimal bezel.
Audio is average for a flat screen, but I use my receiver 99% of the time, so not an issue.
Overall, IMO, OLED is the best TV technology available today. A little pricey, but if you have to have the best, expect to pay a 35% premium, but it is very much worth it considering most people have the TV's for 5-10 years.

Perhaps the closest thing to perfection in viewing. Never before have I experienced the clarity and true blacks in this format.
Don't pause, run and get this.

Love this tv - great picture, TOTALLY black blacks. The only thing with H-D TV is that some of the shows look TOO real, if you know what I mean. Kind of makes the sets look artificial in some cases. You can mitigate this some by choosing the "movie" mode on the tv, which reduces the H-D clarity a little. I leave it on that setting all the time.

I had been waiting for this product to be released after reading all the reviews. The picture is stunning. I picked the B6 model as I already have a 7.1 sound system through my Denon receiver and did not need to pay for a sound bar. I use a Chief TS325TU wall mount with.
I also got some LED light tape hooked up to a transformer and solar timer to create back light when the sun goes down.
The only nuisance I have seen is the TV will automatically bring up the input chooser dialog box if the receiver is not turned on an ready in time.
I have the receiver set on video pass through which alleviates the issues most of the time but not always.

This set replaced a very good Pioneer plasma set that was about 10 years old. To describe it as an upgrade is an extreme understatement. The picture from all standard sources--DirectTV, Bluray, YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon-- is superb. When streaming 4K from Netflix or YouTube, as expected, it's even better. The "smart" functionality works flawlessly and allowed me to avoid upgrading to a 4K Roku (or similar device). About the only change to factory settings I've made so far is to TruMotion which I turned off. I was finding that the picture quality on several channels (e.g. HBO) seemed artificially video-like and a little unsettling. Turning off TruMotion seems to have helped that considerably. All in all, I'm pretty convinced that this is among the best televisions on the market. Admittedly, OLED is pricey but so far, I think it's worth every penny.

My dream OLED!! I love every aspect of it. Amazing picture. I cant wait to get the new sound bar. Only one drawback, the picture needs a good antenna signal or the channel won't come in at all. We use a roof top antenna and the webos for viewing.

Purchased this set on Aug. 1st had my eye on this tv for some time. When I saw the price had dropped $1,000 I went ahead took the plunge. I must say that these lg oled's are in a class by themselves. The color and contrast on this thing is incredible. Also the up scaling is also first rate, I have directv and all the HD channels look just spectacular. One of the first things I watched was The Hobbit-The Battle of the Five Armies on Cinemax. Now, I must have seen this movie at least a half dozen times on my Samsung UHD and always marveled at how good it looked, but on this LG set it was like watching it for the first time! It looked like UHD Blu-ray Disc. And speaking of that, I also got the Samsung 8500 4K Bluray player shortly after getting the tv. Now, if you really want to know what this tv is capable of, pop in a copy of The Revenant set the picture mode to standard and the brightness to 52. If you notice that your socks are missing it's because they've been knocked off and are probably on the other side of the room. Watching this disc instantly validated the purchase of this set, the most incredible visuals I have ever seen on a tv. And all this without any calibration of any kind. If you are in the market for a new tv and don't mind paying a bit more for it, you will not be disappointed.

Awesome tv with crystal clear picture. Use this for gaming and 4K movies. Sound quality is fine for smaller spaces without sound bar or home theater. Absolutely impressed at the quality and would recommend to someone wanting clear picture and 4K gaming.

This is a great TV that gives the viewing quality of the ultra high end sets without being too outrageously expensive. LGs automated setup was extremely simple and easy. Their magic remote synced up with all of my devices easily and without a hitch, The only complaint I have is the holes in the back of the set for the wall mount sit about a foot lower than most sets so I had to move my existing wall mount down.

Brief & to the point review. Bought this model initially online from Amazon and arrived shattered and bent through the middle. Never make my mistake and buying a used model anywhere unless you see it in person or pick it up in person. Amazing smart TV. I don't know how I used TV's prior to this one. Fast interface. Remote functions much like a "Wii" controller, very efficient. I do have an issue with the stock photos built into the TV which cannot be deleted nor switched off which end up being splash images if no input is detected. This model does have a purple glare if bright light enters the room if you are viewing from an angle. Great viewing distance from 9 ft away but the closer you get, the image remains crisp & clear. The blacks once calibrated are absolute black, and it makes an incredible distance. Cannot go wrong with this model.

Wasn't sure if I should spend the money for this tv. I am glad I did as I feel the TV has a very good picture quality. I feel like I'm in the movie. I have this hooked up to a surround sound system so I can't tell if the tvs speakers are any good.

I loved this TV right out of the box with beautiful colors and great looking blacks that made late night TV a pleasure. Unfortunately after 36 months, the TV is dead. The power cycles off in less than 1 minute after it is turned on so I cannot even get to the menus to even try a factory reset! Also noticed some burn in on screen about 2.5 years into ownership. LG service is terrible with local reps who do not even understand what is going on with our a service remote.
Beautiful when it worked... The more I read the more I see that LG electronics are not up to quality that there screens are. Beware!

This TV is as advertised. Great picture. The sound is lacking, however, I use a sound system. And if you really need the TV to sound better buy a more expensive model. The only major differences between the models is 3D capability and sound quality.

We love LG tvs, so when we decided on a larger one we went to store to see how the new OLED stacked up. Well we left with a 60 inch baby and just love it. Picture is so clear and you feel like the action is right in the room with you. Awesome!!!!
