I did read multiple reviews on ultra high definition TVs, including consumer reports. They were right when they rated this as the BEST picture, "if you're willing to pay the price". We compared pictures of multiple ultra high definition TVs including Samsung and Sony. LG's OLED definitely has the best contrast. We watched the Super Bowl and noticed the significantly increased clarity and definition, even with the speed of motion.

Fantastic Viewing, Great Ability to Adjust Image

The LG 65" OLED TV is the best technology in the market today. The image quality with over 8 million pixels and the ability to adjust for vivid blacks results in UNBELIEVABLE contrast and quality. I upgraded from a Panasonic Plasma 1080p set and the OLED is definitely an improvement to the Plasma; although I still enjoy my Plasma set. I am very happy with OLED technology and this LG 4K Ultra HD television. I recommend it highly.

I gave this TV 5 stars because it gives you a great picture. Initially when I first set up this TV I was not impressed with the picture until I messed with the different modes. I believe when you first start the TV it is automatically set up on energy saving mode which gives you a dimed picture. So I recommend going to the picture settings and adjust them to how you like. I also saw started to see a blurred picture when people or objects moved across the screen. I researched this a bit and people said to turn off the Tru Motion setting. Once I did this I saw that it went away. The smart TV function is great, but I realized I don't really need it since I use my Xbox One S for all of my apps. Setting up the apps on the TV is simple. What is a little confusing is using the remote. I had some trouble trying to control my DirecTV box. You have to press the little remote icon button on the remote to gain access guide, list and other functions that control your satellite box. Another good reason I recommend getting this TV if you have the money to spend is because companies are making these OLED TV's more affordable. 4K is the future of TV's and if you are looking to upgrade an old TV you might as well go with a 4k TV. I have an Xbox One S and watched Star Trek Into the Darkness on this TV. OMG it looks amazing. It will be amazing once we get more content. Amazon, NETFLIX and YouTube also offer 4K content. They all look great as well. Overall I am really happy with this purchase and if you go with this TV you will be very satisfied with it.

Aside from being a great looking TV, the picture quality is 2nd to none. I've always cherished great picture quality, I have several Panasonic plasmas that have been fantastic but after setting up the LG OLED B6P...wow I didn't know how much better it could get. Dark scenes and black levels on other TVs just look blue compared to how black levels can get on a quality OLED screen. No blooming in dark scenes makes the picture pop on the darker scenes, it truly is superb. I've had the TV for about a month now and have not been disappointed one bit.
I was also very impressed with 4K content and how it looked. I related it to the iphone retina display and how crisp everything looks...at a reasonable distance to be fair. Netflix has a good amount of 4K content that looks very impressive and makes normal HD seem out of date. The picture settings are also a lot better than most tvs with ISF standard settings which I had never seen in a out of the box tv. I did tone down the warm level to warm1, rather than warm2 on most of the settings. I like my picture to be slightly cooler than deep red warm2 provides, but that is truly personal preference. If you're a stickler for the best picture this TV is the way to go, it is well worth the extra money if you can afford it.
Side notes: The supplied remote is a joy to use, built is apps are quick and convenient, and UI on the TV is the best I've experienced. LG has done a great job.

I saw this TV in the store and was amazed at the picture quality. I purchased it and Buy Buy delivered it and set it up. The picture is incredible. The colors are true to life. It has the whitest white and blackest black compared to every other TV. The features and remote are easy to use. Everyone that visits us is blown away by how beautiful the picture is on this TV. Would definitely highly recommend.

The picture on this TV is very crisp, and I'm not even using an Ultra HD feed. The viewing angle is excellent also, unlike other LED TVs. I actually first purchased a high end Samsung LED, but returned it to get this one. I am totally satisfied. It is the only TV out there that seems to be able to match the color clarity and viewing angle of high end Plasmas from the past. Very satisfied.

So far so good. Picture is great but needed some tweaking to make it better. Once you get used to the remote and learn where everything's buried (about a day or two of frustration and I'm tech literate) you can easily play and adjust picture to your liking. I thought the blacks were TOO black and they were - easy to back up contrast/brightness to fix. The longer we watch it the more I like it. We have a bright room and usually keep it on the 'dark room' setting - no problem and brightness not an issue. If you have a preamp/processor like our Marantz 8801 HDMI setup is more challenging getting all the settings correct. TV occasionally wants to randomly reset some necessary connect settings which can be a bit tooth grinding but once you know what's going on easy to fix - if you know what's going on. I personally haven't found HDMI to be the do all - end all of being easy - in fact, it can be really frustrating when each device is talking to each other (and each has it's own set of apps, connectivity, etc, etc and you don't know what's controlling what). If you're using more than the TV/internal speakers you must become literate in how this works or keep the Xanax handy. Trust me - when no picture shows up when everything's connected correctly it's not your fault. But simply unplugging HDMI cables and reinserting or turning everything off and back on can fix most everything (assuming settings are correct).

Beyond Astonishing

First, let me say that on the first day of having this TV, I was disappointed because I thought I had utilized all of the set's available Picture Mode settings -- and no matter what I did, the picture quality just wasn't that great: The colors were either too pale on the Standard setting, too bright and unfocused on the Cinema setting, and not at all attractive on any of the other settings. However, the following day -- after nearly returning the set -- I discovered the one Picture mode I had missed -- Expert Controls. Happily, after using an online video (by A/V Forums) to guide me in how to set up the Expert Controls settings for Light Room, Dark Room, and Dolby Vision, the TV really blossomed. It became nothing short of mesmerizing. The colors, sharpness, contrast and sheer cinema-like beauty of these images is now absolutely jaw dropping. Tonight, for example, I watched an episode of Netflix's Marco Polo, which is done in Dolby Vision, and it was without any doubt the most luxuriously captivating visual experience I have ever witnessed on any TV. But again, please be aware that you will see NONE of this magnificence unless you select and very carefully adjust all the Expert Controls on Picture Mode. The TV does not default to this choice, you will need to select it. But once you do -- and ONLY if you do -- will the amazing potential of this TV be unleashed.

This TV has the best picture I have ever seen. Everything is crystal clear and the colors are amazing in well lit room and in the dark! I was disappointed with the Geek Squad as far as install goes. Basically put it on the stand and turned it on. He cleaned up the packaging while I verified picture from ROKU and Blu Ray player. Both were very blurry/grainy. He tried a couple different settings that didn't work then handed me the remote and told me to "play with it for a few days" and if I am not happy I have 15 days to return it! He had another stop to make before the end of his day. Well, stumbling around the menus on TV,blu ray and ROKU, I got everything looking great. Thought that is what I paid the Geek Squad for! Oh well, none of that detracts from the end result picture...absolutely AWESOME. Highly recommend this TV. Geek Squad.....not so much

I've owned a lot of tv's in my days and this is by far the best picture quality I've had in awhile. The only down fall I have on this is my magic remote will randomly to pairing with the tv which is very annoying.
Don't worry about burn-ins, turn pixel shift on and your good to go. We play a lot of games at my house and I have yet to see and burn-ins or IR on this set.

This TV was purchased as an upgrade to a 15 year old HD projection TV. The resolution of the picture and color gives the impression that what you see is live in the room. Movies, shows and sports take on new meaning. I can not review the speakers as my system is paired with an AV receiver. This is why I chose to save a few dollars by purchasing the B version.

This LG OLED 4K with UHD and HDR is a stunning by-product of LG's technological prowess. This television handles colors, and blacks very well. You will not be disappointed with this product...you will see what you've been heretofore looking at on screen, but have not been seeing. The viewing experience puts this device into a class of its own. A+

As with other reviewers, the picture is superb. WiFi works flawlessly. I do recommend playing with picture 'tweaks' after you get comfortable with the menus. Color temp was too warm and a few simple adjustments make the picture even better. HDR streaming looks like a view out of a picture window - simply stunning. Upscaling is flawless. Great purchase!!!

I am a Samsung fan and have been for a long time. While at bestbuy the salesman compared the 9000 samsung and this lg for me running some 4k content thru. The details and black levels on this tv are very crisp. Wife also picked the picture on this tv so thats a plus. I have had this tv now about 3 weeks at home and am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought as an open box item and immediately regretted it. After I got it home I saw the frame was bent hence the low price. Gave it a chance anyway and the picture was simply stunning! Perfect blacks and amazing contrast. Sound was kinda weak. Ended up taking it back cause I couldn't look past the dent. Overall the best picture money can buy.

The LG OLED B6 is beyond my expectations. Very easy to set up and understand how to use. The Magic Remote is additionally easy and fun to operate. The Denon x4300h rivals my older Denon 4802R that I purchased in 2003, and made it very easy to set up my existing surround system. Also, I watched videos on YouTube that helped in a lot of ways.

This TV has a fantastic picture. I was watching Star trek beyond in uhd and hdr via my Xbox one and the colors were so much more vibrant than our old TV.
The smart features are actually very responsive well. I usually stick to a Roku instead of using a smart TV because they are usually so slow. Not the case with this one.

This is the best TV I have had to date. I always thought Samsung was the best but the LG OLED is even better. I have the 65", I wish they made a 70", that would have been even more perfect for my room; but this is still an outstanding TV - the best picture I've seen and absolutely no off-angle viewing issues - it's perfect!
