Customers express satisfaction with the picture quality, particularly the black levels and contrast, of this 65-inch OLED TV, frequently praising its HDR capabilities and ease of use. However, some customers cite the high price as a drawback, and a few mention concerns about motion handling and potential burn-in issues over extended use. The lack of 3D functionality is also noted by some buyers.

I had no intention of replacing my 65" LG 4K LED... Until I walked by the LG display and saw the picture on this tv. The colors are incredible, especially the blacks. The fine details you can see in the picture will also blow you away. A number of reviews on OLED technology say the drawback is the picture isn't as bright. I have not noticed any real difference, and if there is a difference, as I already stated, the picture quality is such that it far outweighs whatever LED tv's have to offer in that category. The other drawback is the price. Well, I am giving my previous LG LED to a family member and when I was getting the manual out to include it with the tv, I also had the original receipt. That unit cost me $2200.00 and with the 65b on sale, the difference in cost was really negligible... especially when you look at the extra bang for your buck.

I was initially a bit hesitant pulling the trigger on purchasing this TV. It carries a high cost, I wasn't sure about the long term prospects of OLED, and I can't recall ever owning a LG television. After a month of use I can say I am still pleased with this television. The picture is the clearest I've ever owned, and the smart television aspects are top notch. Most of the applications on prior smart TVs I've owned (Samsung) were slow and seemed like more of an after thought. Not the case on this LG television. The apps are really snappy and easy to access. The magic remote pointer is superb.
I haven't personally encountered any screen burn in issues related to the OLED display but that being said I am careful about leaving still images on the screen for long periods of time, like pausing via DVR for example.
Finally, I do have the TV VESA mounted on a TV stand. Due to the thin screen the screws are towards the bottom half of the TV. Not a deal breaker. The TV seems to sit a bit high which initially seemed strange, but honestly I think I prefer it that way now after a month of viewing.

I really enjoy big, quality tvs. I moved from a ~2009 50" Panasonic plasma to this 65" LG OLED. The plasma still had a great picture, but I wanted to go bigger.
At first, I thought I had made a mistake. Out of the box, the picture is not great. There were may options in the settings menu that need to be turned off or adjusted before I got a picture that truly showed what the tv is capable of. I also discovered that my seating distance for the 50" tv was too close. Adjusting the settings and moving the couch back about 2 feet have made a wonderful television viewing experience.
Regular cable content (720p and 1080i) look very good. Native 4k content on a disc from a 4K ultra player and disc are amazing. It's not a huge jump from 1080 like from standard def to high def, but it is absolutely enjoyable to me.
The pointer/mouse style remote is interesting. I use a universal Harmony remote so, while I think the LG remote works well. . .I rarely use it.
I don't use the smart features on the tv much, but they're there.
I should be set on a tv for many, many years.

The picture quality and resolution are unlike any other 4K I have seen! Blackest Blacks, Whitest Whites! Dynamic Range so wide it looks so real you want to reach out and touch it! Can't get any better than this!
I'm so very happy with my purchase!

This Tv is amazing, the picture is the best around, looks great from all angles too. I can't imagine anyone being less than thrilled with this TV. Can't comment on sound quality, as I don't use the built in speakers but seems like anyone who would buy this would at least have a soundbar. Highly recommend.

Purchased this TV after looking around for several months for a replacement for an older Sony. Also looked very closely at Samsung but chose this based on reviews. Very pleased with the picture thus far. Really stunning for sports. Rendering of blacks is also fantastic. Hoping this lasts longer than the Sony!!!

Love this tv. We have it in iur basement and it is awesome. I found it very user friendly. I use netflix and amazon prime video a lot and it is easy to navigate. The remote is very easy to use. Picture looks great. We play video games on it often and I have no issues figuring out how to switch the inputs.

Everything you've read about OLED is true. No, I mean it. All the descriptions of picture quality, black levels, contrast ratios, motion handling, all of it. It is better than the plasma's we loved - better than any backlit LED. Don't worry about the room brightness, you won't notice a difference. Unless you have direct sunlight aimed at the TV, you will love it just fine. I know it's expensive. You can wait for the price to drop - that's your perogitive. I had to be a little creative to accumulate the money. Some cash up front, some on credit. Whatever. If you are content with the Samsung or Sony top models, that's fine. They do look very good. In fact, the new Z series from Sony is pretty remarkable, so check that out too. I'm thrilled with the LG B6, and you will thank me - and bring a six pack of Cigar City Jai Lai IPA to my house and watch football. Enjoy.

Love the picture and features. Picked this over Sony and Samsung for the black levels. I have cable and use the cable remote for the day to day controls (cable box, receiver, etc.) and, it takes some effort to "trick" the TV to use the HDMI (ARC) input without having the TV remote try and control everything.

Absolutely beautiful picture! Blackest blacks on a TV. Looks so life like & makes you feel like you're right there in the picture. We love this TV! All of our friends that see the picture are amazed at how clear & sharp the picture is. We bought it to watch Super bowl, but enjoy it every single day.

It has an astonishing picture, with blacks super black, and whites are bright and pure. I previously had a top of the line 2015 Samsung plasma, and this picture is much better and the smart computer is generations better. Highly reccomended, and the price is significantly lower than last year's model.

Really have enjoyed this new TV, such an upgrade from my really old 50 inch, still need to figure out how to get the best results from this tv with the 4k, but will do some more reading on it. As for the color this TV is amazing, and took some time getting used to how much nicer it was from my old tv.

We've had this TV for about 3 weeks so far and it seems like a great TV. The Blacks on an OLED TV are definitely more defined than any LED or LCD TV. This television has a great picture and a nice menu with a great remote as well. I'd recommend this TV to others if you don't mind the high price tag.

I did a lot f research on this set before I bought it. When they first came out, it was out of my price range, then LG put them on sale for a great price. I could not resist. It replaces a Panasonic Plasma that I really liked and this set blows it away with the blacks, contrast, and picture quality.

The picture quality, uncalibrated, is superior to any set on the market. The top-end Samsung LEDs come close, but not on the depth and range of black levels. Connectivity is a snap. Zero issues to date. Glad I waited 7 years for a new UHDTV, I don't expect to be shopping again for many years.

B6 is LG's line up of 2016 OLED TVs that uses the same panel and has almost the same features as the more expensive E6 and G6 series. The only real extra value that comes with E6 and G6 is the built-in soundbar; other differences are really cosmetic.
The B6 flat screen is beautiful with nearly no visible bezel and is encased in a premium looking nickel finish metal casing. The TV looks razor thin once it is mounted on the wall. Only thing to note is that this TV has a 300x200 VESA attachment so make sure you buy a mount that is compatible. The screen is 4K Ultra HD with HDR and Dolby Vision with infinite contrast and achieves perfect black levels. If you are watching the TV in a dark room you would not even see the outline of the TV screen. It is just an amazing experience!!
The TV has pretty much all the modern day ports that you would need including the latest WiFi 802.11 a/c standard. One out of the four HDMI port supports HDMI ARC which is useful if you are particular about using few cords to drive all your home theater setup.
The included Magic Remote is ergonomically built and is easy to use as well as light weight. Speaking about remotes, LG has a "LG TV PLUS" smart phone app to fully control the TV functions. I downloaded the LG TV PLUS app on the two iPhones I have and got mixed results. The app worked perfectly on my iPhone 5s but I could not get it to work on iPhone 6s Plus. I would like to note that this is an issue with the app and not the TV and hopefully LG will make the app better with a software update soon. Using the app you can fully control the TV functions including turning it on and off from your phone. Another cool feature is that you could pair a bluetooth speaker or headphone using the app to the TV and be able to enjoy all the content without disturbing others in the house; particularly helpful if you watch TV late nights and don't want to wake up the wife or kids.
Out of the box the TV settings were amazing and you may never need to mess with them but if you are particular about calibration like I am use the settings published at http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/b6/settings

Did much research before purchasing this tv. I have a5 year old Panasonic plasma. Still worked fine but wanted the latest and greatest. Picture is very good for newer programs and movies. But real problems with motion blur on older programs. Even watching family guy a cartoon has motion blur. I have tried all the settings and still not too good. However the sound is really good for this tv. I have surround sound system but only need to use it with movies.

First TV I've mounted on the wall. Very easy to install and set up. I haven't played any 4K programming yet but even 1080 looks great. Even the speakers in the TV sound pretty good for a flat screen Tv. I do have a Yamaha sound bar and sub woofer. No complaints so far. Love it.

Absolutely the best TV I have ever owned. I did a lot of research and while there is some discussion about TV's that are somewhat brighter there are none that have the perfect blacks that make it all pop. Plenty bright in my sunny room. Even with standard cable the picture is nuts!

I've owned a lot of TV's over the years and I consider myself to be "somewhat" of a home theater geek. I have had 2 versions of Pioneer Elite Plasma's, Panasonic VT60 Plasma, Samsung 9000 series UHD tv's etc...
There has never been a TV that has impressed me more than this one. I find myself watching TV (Netflix 4K) just to be amazed at the picture quality it displays. Its that good. No calibration needed.
I wont get into the speaker debate. To be honest, if you're in the market for this TV, you're turning the internal TV speakers off. This TV belongs in the best home theaters with superior HDMI cables, high speed internet, and a audiophile surround sound system. I think someone had offered a gourmet cake analogy with lousy frosting and that is a perfect if you are evaluating the TV and using its internal speakers for surround sound.
In my opinion, this is the best tv I have ever owned. Is it expensive -yes. Is it worth it- absolutely. Nothing compares.
