Up until last year I was hesitant to purchasing a Smart TV. My thought was it was always better to have something like a Roku that way I didn't get stuck with a bunch of software in a TV that I either didn't like or was neglected by the manufacturer.
This changed last year when I bought a TCL with the built in Roku. Everything was pretty straight forward. I receive updates fairly regularly, and the interface is familiar as it's Roku.
When going to purchase a new TV for our living, I found very few TV's that weren't Smart TV's. At least any with decent reviews. It was down to this TV or 2 others, and I ended up going with this one.
I'm quite happy with the TV itself, especially the picture. The one thing that bothers me is LG's implementation of it's Smart system. I thought at first it was just from coming from Roku-based products, but it's really not intuitive. I had accidentally installed an app because of this, and found it was twice as hard to uninstall it. Instead of having an option on the app page to uninstall the application, where you have the ability to install and update the app, you instead have to know to hit X button at Y to get presented with the uninstall option. I honestly had to do a search on the Internet for how to do it, and the worse part is there was 3 different solutions provided because if you have the Smart remote it's one way, and then older models do it another way, and then the newer models yet another way. After having it for a few weeks now it still doesn't seem any better, and the limited number of applications available is frustrating, because I still find myself having to use my Roku stick to watch some of the channels simply not offered on this device. I would imagine something like Watch ESPN, or HBO Go would be available, but both aren't, and they aren't the only ones. I understand in most cases it's the provider who has to make the apps, but it's frustrating when you're so used to having access to these.
In summary, the TV itself is great. The smart aspect of the TV has some shortcomings, and is the reason for the 4 stars.
I'm not dinging anything on the rating for the pickup experience as it has nothing to do with the product, but it was terrible to say the least. I have a local Best Buy warehouse in my area that was presented in a way online that it could save all of this time. Having had some issues when picking up from the store before, I thought I could see the benefit.
Unfortunately, when I got to the warehouse, there was no clear direction on where to enter. What seemed like the obvious entrance ( large glass windows in front of the parking lot ) is for employees only. You'll walk into a vestibule where a security guard will inpolitely tell you you're in the wrong place and need to go around the side of the building. He'll just point, it's up to you from there to figure it out. I don't blame him, for whatever reason Best Buy doesn't put up any signs. Around the side of the building where he points are multiple doors. Rest assured, while they're all flat metallic and look like they won't go anywhere, one of them does. I won't ruin the surprise, you'll have to keep pulling one at a time :-) . From there you'll enter into another vestibule. Once there, I had a woman tell me someone would be with me in a few minutes. I waited at least 7 minutes while this woman and a few other employees all huddled around a cubicle to watch some goofy video they were all laughing at ( see attached pictures ). All while ~10 feet in front of me, as if somehow the glass with open areas to talk was somehow making it so I couldn't hear everything.
Then once the woman finally came over to help me she took my receipt and walked away for another 5+ minutes. When she finally came back, it wasn't with a TV, but rather with an explanation of how I basically needed to drive 350 degrees around the building to basically 10 feet from the door I went in, but on the other side of a fence ( basically doing a long circle around the warehouse ). And from there I would need to park in front of door X, where my TV will be waiting. Okay, so now I'm over 15 minutes into this and I still don't have a TV. Clearly, I'm wishing I would have chose the store pickup, but it gets better.
After doing the drive, which takes another few minutes because of the distance, speed at which you can drive, and the fact you have to check in with a security guard, the only place to park in front of this door has the irrigation system running ( again see pictures ). I go up to the door and knock, thinking by now the TV should be there, but no one answers. I go down a few doors to one that opens, and about as soon as I walk in I get yelled at by someone who says I'm not supposed to be there. I explain how I'm picking up the TV and that person says where I need to go, which I explained that's where I was, and then I was told the TV isn't ready yet, and I just need to wait longer, when it's ready someone will open the door. Finally, a few minutes later someone finally does, and I get the TV into the car and can finally leave.
Obviously, I will never pickup from the warehouse again.

There weren't any reviews on the tv when I bought it because it was new to Best Buy. I bought it for my husband for Father's Day. It is an amazing tv! The picture quality is great.ni love not having to have our ps4 hooked up 24/7 for Netflix, Hulu, etc. it really is a fantastic Tv and worth the price

I bought my 65LF6350 last Friday and tested it over the weekend. It works great, specially combined with the LG TV Plus app. I would buy it again a thousand times.
I wanted to upgrade my 43" LG LED TV. I was really happy with my LG TV but needed something larger. I was considering a "55 TV either 1080 HD or 4K. I run into the 65LF6350 online, and for that price it was worth it to upgrade to 65". I ended up buying both a 55" LG 4K and this 65". I put them side by side and tested them for a couple of days, playing 4K videos on both (obviously it showed as 1080 in the 65"). The quality was tremendously similar, specially from 10 feet away, which is the distance from my couch to the TV.
The 65LF6350 was the winner. Great picture quality and sound. The only flaw is that: a) does not support flash (which is a minor thing for me) b) the remote is basic and would be great if it had a QWERTY keyboard; I am solving this by using the LG TV remote app (free) with its built in screen touchpad
I am attaching a couple of pictures:
1) 65LF6350 next to my old LG 43"
2) 65LF6350 general view

I went from a 50" Panasonic plasma 720p to a 65" LG led 1080p. Huge difference, however I do notice the black level difference, no matter. The size is huge, color is vibrant, speakers are not half bad, wide range of inputs. The bad news...The 1st one delivered everything was blue. Green and red pixels wouldn't come on, returned within a week. 11 months later the motherboard died...no optical and 1 HDMI stopped functioning. Geek Squad fixed it, purchased the extended warranty. I noticed a big decrease in my electric bill going from plasma to led.

I have owned the TV 65" for 2 weeks now and the TV is perfect for my needs. I replaced a Mitsubishi 65" rear projection TV after 11 years (got sick of buying bulbs) I went online and found a site called eviews and they give you the best settings for many tv's on the market today. I no longer purchase Sony tv's after purchasing one years ago and had many issues with it, along with the fact that I found out after purchasing the product that they knowingly sold it with issues. I have never owned an LG TV but have owned multiple phones from the company and had only 1 issue and the LG service dept was quick and responsive with the repair. I have also read that the middle to higher end 1080p tv's are actually better than the middle to lower end 4k tv's when it comes to clarity and options at about the same price point. If you have the proper settings for this TV it is a steal at this price and I would highly recommend this TV over the same priced Sony, insignia, vizio and some Samsung's. The colors appear fairly accurate and (my favorite) the darker movies/scenes are the best I have ever seen on any TV I have owned. I currently own a 40" Samsung and a 37" vizio (bedrooms) tv. Note: This product is getting to be an older model and I had to go to 4 separate Best Buy stores in my area to find one in stock but it was worth it.

TV has very good image, even when reading reviews of other TV for example of 4K, the image is great. For 4K TV you need 4K receivers and TV shows which are not many yet. This TV meets all my expectations, movies, sports and any other TV show has great image. I also like a lot that is very thin and the price was great. Perhaps the only not so good is the remote control only to be able to browse through the apps (netflix, youtube, web, etc) it just takes some time to get use to use only arrows and enter button to input all the letters.

We were looking for 2 65-inch TVs for use at our congregation meetings. This LG 65-inch model provided the best value. Very clear picture and easy to set up and, for the price, you can't ask for much more. Highly-recommended.

I have had this TV for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with the picture quality. I have Direct TV and had them upgrade me to HD. Boy what a difference. We view the TV at about 16 feet no need to spend the extra money on a 4k set. I am watching a football game now no lag with a very realistic picture. I tried setting the picture to some custom settings I found online but ended up using the standard option it works best in most situations. If you are on the fence like I was you wont be sorry just make sure you have a proper HD signal input.

under $900 including delivery for this massive tv?! I am in love.
PROS:
Huge screen
connects to wifi, no apple tv needed
easy to use
CONS:
-color wonkiness. I feel like the reds and blues are over saturated at times
-brightness seems to dip low sometimes for no reason? or maybe my eyes are adjusting from looking at my bright as heck phone then the tv...
-upon turning on TV, the default is to search for cable channels, but lets be serious us young peeps dont pay for that stuff. I wish the default screen would be the applications page.

We were impressed with the picture and ease of operation. The only challenge we had was positioning the TV to minimize reflection from lights in the room and sunlight - its screen is more reflective than our previous TV's screen.

This was a great purchase! I bumped up from a 51" Samsung to this TV and I am very happy. The picture looks great, better than any TV I have had. The design (with a small bezel) looks sharp. For $699 for a 65" TV, I am not sure where you could find a better deal. For the price, I would 100% recommend this to anyone.
As others have said, the remote could be better, but it's not bad. And, the audio is good, not great - but in line with my expectations. The menus and animations in the TV are well designed and flow nicely.
If you don't care about the Smart TV features, then stop here and buy this 5-star TV. If you do, continue and be prepared to lose a star.
Now, if this wasn't "smart TV" I probably would give this five stars, but it is, so I need to grade accordingly. The smart part is not very good. I am sure you are like me and accustomed to how other smart devices work and flow. I have had Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV both are far superior than this experience. I wish LG would just give the experience to Google or Amazon and connect into their app stores, because the experience and choice is really bad. It is slow and unresponsive - waiting wheel spinning, like it is lacking horsepower. It lacks app choices - the LG TV App store is really bad. None of the apps you would normally find like broadcast channels (CBS, NBC), cable (HBO Go), and even though Spotify is on the box, you can't find it. Apparently it didn't work so they pulled it. My guess is LG created another app island and the developers won't support it - so choice is really limited. Amazon and Google Play are pre-loaded, but only for movie and TV purchases. Lastly, LG promotes mirroring and interacting with your smart phone, but even though I am fairly techie, I couldn't get that to work either after a couple attempts.
In the end, this is a GREAT TV. A superb value. BUT, don't expect to be wowed by the smart part.
