TV will FAIL after factory warranty, BE CAREFUL
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be careful with LG's product, apparently they only stand behind their product for 1 year. After that you're on your own. Mine gave out after 18 month of light use and well taken care of. For a $1400 price tag, very disappointed.

Amazing Picture Quality — Feels Like a Theater at
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this LG 65" OLED TV for a little over a year now (got it in May 2023), and I still get impressed every time I turn it on. The picture quality is insane — deep blacks, super vibrant colors, and crazy sharp details. Watching movies or even regular shows feels like a theater experience, especially in a dark room. The webOS interface is smooth and easy to use. Streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube all run great without needing any extra devices. It even handles 4K HDR content like a champ. Gaming on this thing is next level — super responsive, and the visuals are on point. I’ve connected my Xbox and it recognized everything right away, no extra tweaking needed. A couple of small things to mention: The built-in speakers are decent, but if you really want that full movie vibe, I’d recommend adding a soundbar. The remote takes a little getting used to (especially the pointer feature), but once you’re used to it, it’s pretty handy. Overall, this TV has been a great upgrade for my living room — especially for movies and games. Definitely worth it if you care about picture quality and want something that just looks amazing on the wall.

Great PC Gaming TV
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After looking at the LG B2, C2, and Samsung S95B, I went with the B2. It was a good balance of price, size, and being OLED. The local Best Buy had exactly what I wanted (65" B2) open box for $1188. However, Best Buy did not state that it was missing the stand and remote ("open-box - excellent" states that all accessories are included), but the employees were helpful in providing these items to me at no charge. The TV is comically massive in my home, and seems larger than it does in the store. The colors are vibrant, and the TV performs excellently in a dark room. Playing video games on PC at 4k@120Hz is exactly what I wanted. The TV supports AMD Freesync, so the experience is flawless. My PC's graphics card only has an HDMI 2.0 port, so I have to reduce my color output to 4:2:0 to get 4k@120Hz - I imagine that a full HDMI 2.1 setup would allow the color from my PC to pop even more on this TV. I can't comment on the sound, because I have the PC hooked up to a Dolby Atmos surround system. The TV outputs to the same system excellently via eARC.

Good not Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade from a 7 year old Sony Bravia 55" that was having some operating system issues. I was on the fence between OLED and mini LED and went with the OLED. Picture quality is good. I had higher expectations for OLED but this is my first one. The operating system is great so far. Easy to use remote and set up options. The point feature of the remote nice. The remote is missing a an "input" button to easily switch between different inputs like cable, apps, dvd. You can program quick access buttons with the numbered keys but they you have to remember which one does what. We are using the stand and the sound bar in front of the TV blocks the remote signal to the TV. It's a standard size sound bar. Have to hold the remove up high to get to the TV. Also note, there is plastic on back of the TV that needs to be removed prior to use. The front plastic has red pull tabs the back has none. No mention of this in the unpacking instructions. Best Buy in store sales assistance great as usual. Item: LG 65" Class B2 Series OLED 4K UHD.

Best Home Theater Experience I've Ever Had
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We hadn't planned on spending this much on a new TV; we just wanted to get something 65 to 70 inches to better fill the watching space. OLED's weren't even in the conversation. But, we started comparing specs, and noticed that this TV had more HDMI ports and was selling (at that moment) for well below comparable OLEDs). So we decided to spend a grand on a TV that would captivate us. This did not disappoint. We're both obsessed with space, and it's hard to overstate how different it is to look at the new JWST images and especially the Mars rover high res images on this TV versus our previous (still stunning) LG LCD tv. The color and the detail are insane. We both spent almost a week after our LG OLED was in place yelling "Hey, come back in here....you have got to see THIS!" because one of us would start watching something and BAM! this TV would dazzle all over again. Like, I was watching GLASS ONION. Not exactly the first movie that occurs to you when you consider what media takes best advantage of this TV's new capabilities. But it was jaw dropping nevertheless. As per usual, with any newer TV's that are this frickin thin, there just isn't anywhere to stuff in truly robust speakers. But LG and Samsung still manage to chock in as much audio fidelity as possible and we've never felt short-changed by this TV's onboard sound. So no additional soundbar required (for us at least). Look, I could keep going. I'm so glad we spent the extra money and got this gorgeous, immersive OLED. At some point in the future, AVATAR 2 will drop on streaming and I hope that when that day comes, we both don't accidentally die from too much TV pleasure.

The TV of Dreams
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting a long time to invest in an OLED set. Finally the value and class aligned in my budget range. What a treat. The image is jaw dropping. The blacks are unreal, I cannot believe what I am seeing every time I put on a movie. Sports, movies, gaming... I use it for all three and it delivers in every way imaginable. Responsiveness, speed, compatibility. LG did an awesome job with the OS, though it isn't the fastest. Look at newer models if that is a dealbreaker. Also be aware the A and B only have two HDMI 2.1 slots. All in all, this is as happy as I've ever been about a electronics purchase.

I'm afraid OLED has me spoiled for life...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two years back I bought a LG 55" A1, open box for what was then a great price. The picture quality of the A2 was spectacular. Two weeks ago I upgraded to this 65" B2, open box for a great price. I had low expectations for an improvement over the A1 as far as picture quality goes. I upgraded more because of the size difference. I can say that the picture quality improvement is substantial. In particular, the brightness of the B2 is significantly higher than the A1. The increased brightness lends to a better viewing experience. webOS performance on the B2 is adequate. The interface as a whole leaves something to be desired, but the quality of the picture more than makes up for it. The magic remote feature is a little gimmicky to me, but it is useful when navigating thru the "home" screen. Magic remote navigation usefulness varies from app to app, so YMMV. Sound quality is surprisingly great considering the speakers are only 20 watts. Highs are high, and lows are low. I use a soundbar when I need things to be loud, but for the most part the built-in speakers are good enough. As I mentioned before, picture quality is stellar. OLED in general is absolutely unmatched. The ability to show effectively "true" black changes the entire viewing experience. Like the title says, OLED has me spoiled for life. That's the only unfortunate part of owning a TV like this. Moving forward I can't see myself owning anything else. The upfront cost may sting a little, but if you're craving the best viewing experience, OLED is a must.

Almost too Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beware! This tv is so great that it ruins the viewing experience on other screens. I went to the movies after purchasing this tv and all i could do was notice how dull the picture was and how gray the blacks were. The picture quality is clearly amazing and personally i dont think the upgrade to the C2 model is worth it (unless you need 4hdmi 2.1 ports). Also, for the first time since owning my PS5 and SeriesX have i felt that im getting my moneys worth out of next gen gaming. Another thing is there are plenty of reviews that say that the remote is bad but I havent had many issues with it. The pointer feature can be a little buggy at times but it makes up for it in convenience. The speakers are good enough. I think for most people it will be fine but an upgrade to a sound bar would likely be worth your time. Last thing i would suggest is getting the bestbuy warrenty for it. It comes with a limited LG warrenty but those arent going to be the people you want to deal with if anything goes wrong with the tv.

My 2nd LG OLED
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd LG OLED. For context my first OLED was a C series from 2016 and is still going strong. There is definitely some differences between the two though. This TV actually blew me away by the sound alone. The early OLEDs had poor sound quality and depended on home theater systems or sound bars for quality audio. With this B series TV the quality of sound is better than some of the sound bars I’ve had over the years. The picture quality is amazing. The deepest black color I have seen so far and the colors pop so vividly. If you are watching 4K content you definitely get your monies worth, but even the upscaling is pretty impressive.

LG OLED Class B2 - outstanding
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful picture and presentation. From discussing the attributes in the store with the salesperson and getting educated on the different classes and types of televisions. After explaining our home setup and the capabilities (and limits) the Class B2 made sense for our setup and viewing preferences. And the television literally delivered on all points: color, brightness, quality. Installers were helpful in explaining the mounting system, some remote control features I was unaware of, and explaining how the television automatically adjusts the the picture to the quality of the feed. AppleTV looks amazing now and is very noticeably sharper than before.

Great display quality for the price
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV a couple of months ago as a cheaper alternative to the LG 65" C2 Series. I did not expect much from the TV as it was marketed to be the more affordable TV in the series. When I opened up the box for the TV I was instantly impressed with how slim it is compared to other displays of similar price points that I have seen. Once I got the TV setup in my living room I was instantly blown away by the colors. It has the option for up to 120Hz refresh rate so that made gaming on my console feel very smooth and responsive. My one gripe with this TV is that it does not get that bright so when i use it during the day it can be hard to see what is being displayed on the screen at times. I heard that the LG C2 has higher peak brightness so if that were a huge factor for me then I would have upgraded. Overall I would have to say, for the price range, this TV is a great buy and I would highly recommend other people to purchase one of these TVs.

A Cinematic Marvel
||Posted . This TV is a true testament to LG's commitment to cutting-edge technology and delivering an unparalleled home entertainment experience. Whether I'm watching movies, streaming content, or gaming, the visuals are immersive and lifelike. The HDR capabilities enhance contrast and detail, bringing out nuances in shadows and highlights. webOS Smart TV Platform (5/5): LG's webOS is a standout feature, providing a seamless and intuitive smart TV experience. Navigating through apps, streaming services, and settings is incredibly user-friendly. The Magic Remote with point-and-click functionality adds a touch of convenience, making it easy to access content with precision. The inclusion of HDMI 2.1 ports is a notable feature for gamers, supporting higher refresh rates and resolutions for an optimal gaming experience. Conclusion: The LG 65" Class B2 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV is a true marvel in home entertainment. Good value tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I perseverated over this purchase until I reached analysis paralysis. I reviewed reviews and explored specifications until my mind was numb. Then I went to the store and just looked at the screens. I bought a Sony xbr and changed my mind to buy this LG after seeing them both in the store. There are so many good televisions at this. Price poin, $1599 when I bought it. I got the b version rather then the c because I could not perceive a difference. I prefer the LG menu system over Sony. The picture quality is excellent to my eyes. I use this tv for gaming on my PS4 and streaming. I have price matched this down to $1299. Thanks best buy

LG OLED 65" B2
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Made the purchase about 3 weeks ago. After messing around learning my way around the settings, watching several movies, NFL, NHL, watching entire series of Game of Thrones, dozens of hours gaming........ Can't say enough positive things about this purchase. This 65" LG OLED B2 TV is truly remarkable. The picture quality is spectacular, smooth , and vibrant. The built in speakers sound very good. No funny noise or vibrations. I also have an XBOX X and it pairs so well with this tv. Couldnt be happier with my choice. Ultimately i did pair the TV with the LG S80QY sound bar with the sub. I highly recommend you do the same.
