Amazing TV. Will never buy anything other than OLED if at all possible. This model has all the needed features (apps, computer gaming sync, HDR, and it's ultra thin), and a better price than the C series, which is amazing but only has limited improvements in features.

Tv quality Is amazing. The color is a little dim, but with some small tweaks, you can lighten it up. The remote mouse is a little sensitive, but overall fits good in your hand. The AI sound is as good as having a surroundsound bar. Overall, this TV is worth getting.

Look at my first picture and you can clearly see the dark vertical bars all the way across the screen and the major discoloration. There is some light streaking from the window to the left but the TV has been angled away from any light source to limit glare. This is a dark 1% grey solid test screen in a small room with minimal ambient natural light and the picture hasn't been enhanced in any way. This is obviously an atrocious uniformity issue, but LG disagrees.
I only use OLED. Every screen I buy has to be OLED. My tablet, my laptop, my phone, my monitor, and my TVs are all OLED. I have extensive experience with multiple types of OLED display, including LG OLEDs and Vizio OLEDs which use LG OLED panels. I am familiar with the uniformity issues inherent in the technology. Several of my screens show uniformity issues, but they are relatively minor, only visible is specific circumstances with certain test screens, and somewhat ironically this appears non-uniform without real discernible pattern. Obviously this is not that, but LG disagrees.
There is also a very apparent issue that's hard to explain or show in pics, but essentially is seemingly some kind of edge enhancement despite all post-processing having been turned off. It basically creates a silver line along the edge of any dark gradient in motion, as I circled in my other picture. Pausing the same content makes the line go away, but press play again and it's back. This is extremely distracting, especially in dark scenes or content that is dark in general. Obviously this is unacceptable as it ruins the overall image, but LG disagrees.
I contacted LG twice, and while the agents were friendly and professional, the first failed to call back as scheduled and the second simply said this is totally normal. Obviously this unit is defective and does not meet the standards of even an entry-level model of premium TV, but LG disagrees.
I had relatively minor uniformity issues with my first Vizio OLED, and upon calling them and doing some Troubleshooting the agent said it was likely defective and issued a brand new replacement to be delivered within a week at no cost to me. That is both excellent Support and Warranty. LG's warranty, however, will only cover repair, which entails the customer uninstalling and delivering the unit to a repair center themselves (closest to me is 150 miles), and that's only if the Tech they send out confirms there's a manufacturing defect. If a Tech is sent out and does not confirm defect, then the customer is on the hook for the Tech's visit fee. Obviously this is an awful and borderline useless warranty, and objectively terrible Customer Support, but LG disagrees.
Never again will I buy anything from LG after this. If you do then please read the fine print of their horrible Warranty. Buyer Beware.

First tv only used for 3 days total and already had a burn-in issue. Second TV had a dim bar at the bottom of the tv. Overall the picture quality is outstanding but the issues i had with it makes me personally never want to recommend this tv to anyone. Also the remote is absolutely aweful as well.

Hello there, Ryan. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the OLED65B4PUA and the issues you've encountered with burn-in and the dim bar at the bottom of the screen. We’re happy to hear that you find the picture quality outstanding, and we want to assist you in resolving these concerns.
For the burn-in issue, we recommend using the TV’s built-in pixel refresher feature, which can help mitigate burn-in by running a screen maintenance process. If the dim bar continues to be present, it may indicate a defect that will require further assistance from a technician.
Regarding the remote, we suggest checking the battery level and ensuring there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV for optimal performance. If you’re still facing difficulties, we can explore replacement options. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-65-class-b4-series-oled-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2024/6578053.p?skuId=6578053 Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you with a potential replacement or service. While this tv has deep blacks and great colors for some movies or 4k content…. It has a terrible picture for regular HD broadcasting. I have attempted to adjust the coloring multiple times with no change. Either the picture is too bright or it is too yellow. There doesn’t seem to be an in between. Would not recommend.

Hi, Jason. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the LG TV (OLED65B4PUA) model. We understand your concern, especially when expecting a great viewing experience for all types of content, not just 4K. We strive to provide high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience.
OLED technology is fantastic for those deep blacks and vibrant colors, but we know it can sometimes be a bit tricky with standard HD broadcasts, especially if they’re not the best quality. It sounds like you've been tweaking the color settings but still aren’t quite getting it right. Why not give these suggestions a try? You could switch to a different picture mode, like "ISF Expert" or another preset that leans towards a more neutral picture. This might help balance out the brightness and color temperature.
Also, don’t forget to check the white balance in the advanced settings; adjusting that can really help with any yellow or overly bright looks. And make sure your TV is updated with the latest software—new firmware often brings improvements to picture quality and settings! If you need some guidance on that, just head over to https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-tv-how-to-update-an-lg-smart-tv--1430510575535.
