    Once you can get the TV turned on the picture is great. Unfortunately, turning it on is a nightmare since you have to watch a series of advertisements and all sorts of technical TV options .... I wish I could simply turn it on and select the channel I want to watch.

      To improve this, please try disabling the Home Auto Launch feature: Press the Settings button on your remote.

      Navigate to All Settings → General → System → Additional Settings → Home Auto Launch.

      Switch this option OFF. This adjustment prevents the TV from automatically opening the Home screen with ads or apps, allowing you to go straight to your preferred input or channel. You can find more guidance here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-tv-how-to-set-specific-input-startup--20153529242384.
