I love this OLED and I love Bestbuy.
Full time gamer by trade here, and just wanted to express how awesome this OLED with GeekSquad coverage is. I play a lot of static content 5k plus hours a year so this is the perfect combination. I doubt it will ever burn in as that seems to be an issue that was five years ago but I wanted peace of mind, and that's what BB and GeekSquad give me.
So First QQQQLED (QLED) is not OLED and it should be illegal to use, since it's a marketing scam. Do not try to compare OLED with QLED since QLED is just an LCD with an LED backlight.
Ok now back to the beauty of OLED.
5 MS input lag
120Hz
Gsync
02-2ms Pixel response time
Stunning picture
-when you factor in input lag with response time you are looking at one of the fastest gaming monitors out there.
Just remember if you are looking on your computer at pictures or video of OLED you are not looking at OLED, to really see this baby you need a room that is not super bright and you need to see it in person.
You can also run this TV in Ultrawide 21.9 if your are using Nvidia.
This is the perfect TV, for everything. If you are a gamer six plus hours a day or play the same game year after year with static UI I highly recommend the BB/GS coverage plan.

This is the best TV on the Market, Bar None!

This TV is currently the best on the market, and it isn't even close.
SDR Peak Brightness targets are between 100 and 400 nits standard. This TV can hit 415 nits for SDR Content (Think DVDs).
HDR Peak Brightness is up to 1000 nits for the Dolby Vision standard. This TV can hit about 750 nits.
Contrast Ration for Dolby Vision has to reach 2000:1 to qualify for certification. This TV has a near-infinite contrast ratio because it is currently the only technology on the market that can deliver pixels completely devoid of light.
Also, many other TVs will use what is known as a Vertical Alignment Panel (VA), with a modifier that splits the blue light into red and green to help strengthen the color and brightness. However, because they're backlit, and the pixels are not self-emitting, they can never represent a pixel that is completely devoid of light. This makes it nearly impossible for them to truly draw GTG (Gray to Gray) values at their rated refresh rates. With OLED the screen can refresh hundreds of times faster than other panels, so they are much better at handling motion and contrast.
Because of this contrast ratio, the TV qualifies for Dolby Vision, even though it cannot hit the 1000 nits mark.
Another point, it has actual Nvidia G-Sync technology in it, so it supports Free Sync and that means you can get the most out of the Xbox Series X or Sony PS5 and even have a competitive advantage because of that.
I doubt many of you are reading this for a technical breakdown as you can see that anywhere. So let me say that the image quality and response are the best I've ever owned. When I watch Dolby Vision movies like Thor Ragnarok, The Martian, Infinity War, and End Game, I finally see the image with the diversity I've been looking for years to find.
Believe me, if you can afford OLED, buy even a smaller OLED over the larger TVs without OLD.
Oh, last note, you have to be really abusive to the TV to get burn-in, so believe me, it is very hard to do.

I chose customer setup and it was pretty easy to install & mount the base to the screen and lift it unto a table myself. I love the weight of it.
The screen is super clear & bright, even with blue light blocking feature enabled. The speakers are loud enough, but I like a lot of base; so added a sound bar & subwoofer.
Setup, connecting to WiFi, using the LG app and navigating the Home Screen, installing apps, etc was pretty straight forward, while following the instructions.
Voice enabled remote with Alexa is an awesome feature, also with a little shake…using remote like a mouse to navigate.
Power save mode is set for 1 min, was annoying at first and also cannot change the screen saver; but, you get used to that. And, this screen saver is pretty dim in case you fall asleep at night watching something and didn’t set the sleep timer.
I love this TV, as it’s sleek & looks like a piece of art; especially when the gallery feature comes on.

LG C1 - Best Upgrade Ever!

I've had this TV for several months now. Now that it has settled in, my review.
In a word, fantastic. Upgrading from a LG UH7700, the LG C1 is a killer upgrade. I can say it was like going from an old tube TV to an LCD TV but 100x better. I bought when it was $1700. It is not that bright of course compared to the G1 or G2 or C2 or S95B, but it is BRIGHT ENOUGH. I did get the EVO panel but am not "overclocking" mine. Still, if you are watching in a room with the sun shining directly into your room or with spot lights or something, it is probably not for you. If you have a normal room and you watch in the dark or at night for movies, this TV is amazing. No blooming, viewing angles are fine (why you would be 60 degrees off-axis is beyond me though) smooth 120 hz with BFI and VRR and GSYNC and FREESYNC. Gaming is just sick. 4K movies feel like you are in the movie.
Color wise, it was not the greatest out of the box. I did get it calibrated. Fortunately, I knew someone who had a calibrator. Still, it is not like super bad. You can live with it out of the box. But LG should pre-calibrate these before shipping.
Physically, it looks great with the edge to edge screen and thin panel. The panel finish is like a black piano so there is reflection but it is not as bad as others I've seen. Glare is not a problem in normal lighting or when dark. The stand is nice and heavy so it will not tip easy.
Sound is good/solid for its own speakers. Nothing that blows your mind, but plenty loud and clear.
Remote is the regular LG wand type. I wish it was backlit, but it does the job.
LG UI software is LG UI software. It works. It is relatively fast and not too buggy. Plenty of apps.
One small issue I had. The stand was a pain to put together due to it being two pieces. A front "cover" and the actual stand part. Either I got one that wasn't spec or they really need to redo the design on it. I had to slightly tighten the screws first on the stand so there was some give and then slide the cover piece in an exact angle to get it in correctly on the front. It was literally a pain.
Conclusion: Well worth it when I bought it and it looks like it's worth it more now that it is only $1500.
Just take care to use the TV correctly. It is OLED. So don't have a like a sports or news channel on for 12 hours each day or play games 24/7. You will get screen burn. Other than that, it is an awesome TV.

I had done plenty of research and have been watching the price on this set for a while. So many reviews claiming this the best panel on the market. Even the BB guys who loaded it into my vehicle remarked it’s the best set they sell there. Well the reviews (at least to my eyes) were correct and it’s certainly the best set I’ve ever owned.
The Bad: Let’s just get this out of the way. This is an upgrade from a 7 year old 65” Sony LCD that ran Google TV. That implementation of the OS was a horrendous user experience so eventually purchased an 4K AppleTV. I’ve preferred the Apple UX since I purchased my first PC many, many years ago. Prior to bringing the C1 home I thought I may be able to run its native WebOS and move the AppleTV to the bedroom, but when I got it home and up and running I immediately knew the AppleTV was staying where it was. WebOS is bloated and slow with a crummy ad-filled UI (you can turn some of this off but at this point it was not worth the effort— my mind was made up.) There’s also a bit of glare on the screen when viewing during the daytime. I have a bay window directly across from the TV (I know, not the most ideal location, but you know—wives) with the ability to block some light and it’s ok but not a deal-breaker. We do most of our watching at night so it’s not an issue.
The Good: Everything else about the TV. Blacks, brightness, color, detail it’s ALL great. I really appreciate the preset picture modes especially the inclusion of cinema, filmmaker and ISF calibrated. I’ve always used a DVD to calibrate my TV’s in the past but honestly just a few tweaks to “Filmmaker” mode on the C1 results in a breathtaking image. 4K DolbyVision and HDR content are exquisite. As good as anything I’ve seen at a Dolby or IMAX theater. I checked out Endgame on Disney+ (which is IMAX Enhanced) and the 2nd scene with Tony and Nebula adrift on the ship…Just. WOW!
NFL football looks amazing. Regular SDR HD content coming from YouTubeTV looks significantly better than my old Sony, but it must be said—pales in comparison to the 4K content mentioned above. That stuff just sings.
I’m the type of person that when making a purchase this significant, I will always feel a tinge of buyer’s remorse. That did not happen in this case.
I’m curious to see how the set performs over time, but my initial impressions are that I’m blown away. If you have some control over light in your room, or do most of your viewing at night—BUY without reservations.
* All audio is routed through my Denon AVR to 5.1 speakers so I can’t comment on the audio quality of the set’s onboard speaker.

The colors/image of this TV is absolutely incredible, HDR gets really bright, Dolby Vision is built in so Movies that support it look even more stunning. Since this is an OLED you can look at the TV from any viewing angle and it will have the same Quality so it's great for a group of people at the couch. The TV Has HDMI 2.1 so you can output at 120hrz at 4k with HDR. This TV is also great for gaming since it has Nvidia G-Sync for gamers with GeForce GPUs, and AMD Freesync for Xbox, PS5 and Radeon GPUs. Also want to mention there's a Gaming Optimizer mode you can enable that lowers input lag and turns on G-Sync or Freesync allowing for 1ms response times and smooth motion even if you drop some frames in your game. This is at the cost of some brightness only if the game you are playing doesn't support HDR but even without it's definitely bright enough as is. Now the sound quality is just ok, it gets the job done but it sounds flat, as is with most TV's. I personally think that if you are going to buy this TV you also want to get a good soundbar to go with it. All in all I think this TV is almost perfect and is worth the asking price at least for the 65inch model. I can recommend this to Movie Watchers and Gamers since it fills both roles very nicely.

Great video quality, the blacks are truely black!! It is an absolute marvel of television technology. Its stunning 4K OLED display delivers impeccable picture quality with deep blacks and vibrant colors that pop off the screen. The Dolby Vision and HDR10 support make every movie and show a visual treat. The sleek design and slim bezels add a touch of elegance to any living room.
The C1 also boasts impressive AI-enhanced features, including voice control and AI Picture Pro for automatic optimization of picture quality. With a fast refresh rate and low input lag, it's an excellent choice for gaming enthusiasts. The webOS smart platform is intuitive and offers a plethora of streaming options. While it comes at a premium price, the LG OLED C1 65" is a top-tier choice for those who demand the best in home entertainment.

Wanted to go oled this time out. The hype is legit. overall I love this TV, but as always there is pro's and con's.
PROS
- Amazing picture quality! However, go to youtube and search LG C1 picture setting. Just like all TV's out of the box, picture is under whelming, but once you dial it to your liking you'll be blown away.
- Plethora of setting choices and you can really fine tune to your liking.
- The quality build is outstanding. really does feel premium.
- Viewing angle is far superior than LCD.
- Deep black and non existent blooming.
- fine tune motion smoothing. There is two camps to this. Either love it or hate it. Settings give you a lot of options. on/off, cinema, natural, smooth motion and user select (which I love).
CONS
- The magic remote has a mind of it's own sometimes, especially if you have other devices connected to hdmi ports. I'll press a button and it'll go to the other device. or If I press home, it'll bring up voice command. Very odd. Maybe re-pairing will work, but it def has a mind of it's own. I just use my roku and use magic remote when I need to fine tune settings.
Overall, LG knocked it out of the park with the C1. So many expert reviewers give it high remarks and I agree with them.

I was on the fence about upgrading my favorite Sony Bravio from years back. But I am glad I did upgrade it with the LG C1. This TV is is a work of art. Its thinner than my cellphone. The colors are vibrant. Netflix seems so much more alive now. Besides LG offers a set of free channels including News, sports and entertainment. The apps upgrade automatically. Its compatible with Alexa and Google. The sound quality is good but I bought the Sonos sound bar and integrates smoothly. Now it looks like I have my personal AMC theatre at home. Perfect for Pandemic movie watching. Also, LG is the only company that makes original OLED panels. Everyone else sources it from them. And on the technical side - The LG A1 OLED and the LG C1 OLED deliver very similar picture quality but differ in the extra features available. The C1 is a better gaming TV, with four HDMI 2.1 ports, support for variable refresh rate technology (VRR), and a 120Hz refresh rate. For movie lovers, the C1 is also a slightly better choice, as it can remove judder from any source, and it has an optional Black Frame Insertion feature to help reduce persistence blur.

Been looking forward to getting an OLED for the longest time. Dream TV for me. Coming from a Samsung Q8Fn, which was an awesome TV already, but with prices of the C1 coming down I finally decided to get my OLED and I’m so glad I did. This is by far the best TV I’ve ever owned. From the 4 HDMI 2.1 ports to the Magic Remote, this set checks all the boxes for me. Got Homekit, AirPlay 2, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos as well which are major perks for me. The profile of this tv is so ridiculously thin. So thin I was terrified it would break when I was setting it up. The picture this tv produces is so phenomenal. Perfect black levels and great contrast, everything just pops. Gaming with my PS5 has been superb and I was worried about using WebOS and the Magic Remote but so far I’m enjoying both a lot so far. If you can afford to get the C1 I can’t recommend it enough, this is such an awesome TV and you will love it.

I have bought several budget 4K tv's over the past couple of years thinking they would satisfy me, but there was always something about them that never satisfied me.
I purchased the 65" C1 about a month ago and I can say with 100% surety that this TV is the one to buy. Out of the box, the picture is great but can be fine tuned to fit different room scenarios. My living room where this tv went isn't bright at all, so this was the perfect option. I switched the picture mode over to Cinema and was off to the races.
Now gaming. Gaming is where this tv will beat out any other OLED at this price range. G-SYNC and FreeSync is a game changed (no pun intended). 4K 120hz with the Series X and PS5 have been amazing to have. True 120HZ panels (like this tv has) is so much better to have than budget 4K tv's (TCL for example) that use software to try and mimick 120HZ on a 60HZ screen.
The only con I have come across so far is the integrated software is mediocre at best. But that's not a deal breaker for me since I use an Apple TV as my streaming device. I do not use any of the pre-installed apps.
TLDR: BUY THIS TV!

Amazing Picture Quality and Features - Horrible OS

Amazing picture quality and product features. VRR, Gsync, HDMI 2.1 ports for future proofing and gaming if you have multiple consoles. This has all the high end features in a TV.
Speakers are just average when used with the included stand that doubles to project the sound forward. If you choose to mount the TV instead, you will want a separate sound bar.
Good brightness considering it's an OLED tv.
The biggest con is the absolutely horrible operating system. WebOS on this TV is easily the worst TV OS I've ever used (Roku, Fire OS, Google TV, AppleTV). Tons of ads that create a lag filled UI , the actual apps and devices that you want to regularly use are also for some reason located on the bottom of the slow to navigate home screen,
This model is still an incredible value while it continues to be sold vs the C2 - however if you spend this much on a TV do yourself a favor and get an AppleTV or chromecast device so you never have to deal with the default OS or apps.

Easily the best viewing experience of any current gen TV, if you have the right environment. While the OLED panel isn't as bright as some of it's competitors the perfect blacks more than make up for it. That said you're someone who has to watch TV in a bright room for whatever reason this is most likely not the TV for you.
The built in speakers are fine, nothing about the sound is exemplary and neither is anything lacking. That said with this level of performance I'd expect you'd be looking for an external audio solution anyway.
If you play video games or enjoy watching sports the variable high refresh rate on this set is indispensable. Everything is buttery smooth and a joy to watch.
There are some factory settings that need to be turned off out of the box for the best experience but youtube videos on that are endless and the process only takes about 5 more minutes in addition to the initial set up.
TLDR: Unless you can't control the amount of light hitting your TV the LG C1s and G1s are without a doubt your best option.

We cant say anything that hasn't already been said about the absolutely outstanding image quality of OLED and this TV. The quality of the image makes my old Sony 4K LCD image look like standard definition.
Black levels are just incredible. Adds an entirely different level of immersion and atmosphere that truly elevates the experience of watching movies for what seems to feel like the first time.
Gaming on it with an Xbox X and even a PS4 Pro are OUTSTANDING.

I never had an oled panel before so I got the lg c1 and the sony a80j and watched both of them on every streaming service i could and what i found was they both have a great picture the sony has a blue tint and the lg is either super colorful or oversaturated.. They both have plenty of tech and since I'm not a gamer the c1 doesn't impact me in that way and I don't care about sony's fancy antenna web os or google don't know but lg looks really good and i feel like it might be slightly better but its so close because i love the sony as well..judder and stutter happens on both but can be eliminated through settings but the thing i don't like about oled is that every time you switch streaming services you must change the settings so the tv can look like you want it.Ill say the lg takes less setting changes but sony has better upscaling. It was a tough decision but ultimately i kept the lg just because it was more future proof but the sony is really awesome

This is my second LG OLED TV. If you've seen them in person, you know they quality is unlike most anything else on the market. Superb color, quality and features are the headlines, and you won't be disappointed.
If you're a gamer, this model with likely pique your interest as it did mine. Variable refresh rate is a true game-changing feature. No more screen tearing, or noticeable stutter from a dropped frame or two. Add that to the ability to output at 4k at 120hz and you can see the appeal for any modern gamer, regardless of the platform of choice. Those new features added to the already great feature set of supporting all HDR formats, including Dolby Vision make this an easy choice if you're wanting to really take advantage of the latest hardware.
If you can see one in person, you'll understand. If you're not able to and are comparing TVs, you can feel confident you're getting one of the best TVs on the market.

OLED is still king. No comparison. If you're worrying about burn in, go to a BestBuy store and look at the OLED screens on display. Those demo screens are on 10 hrs a day. No burn in. Anyways.....This 65" LG C1 replaces our 55" OLED LG B9, Which has been moved to the master bedroom. This is the best TV I've ever owned. Hands down. The App interface is just ok, but I use an Apple TV for my streaming apps anyways. I have a Playstation and a Nintendo Switch. My 3 year old LG OLED 55" B9 has over 3000 hours of use, with no burn in. If you vary your viewing content, you'll be fine.
The internal speakers are ok, but the TV is flat, so what did you expect? We use a soundbar anyways.
Brightness is great for our needs.

Stunning! Incredible detail! I was looking at this and the Sony Bravia. Both OLED. This LG is paper thin, brilliant color, easy to set up, intuitive navigation. I have a Samsung 850T soundbar and surround sound speakers. Seamless setup, I was not a fan of LG, but I am now, This OLED TV is absolutely crystal clear. Watching football, you can see the detail in the grass. The smart WEBOS allows you to add apps like Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. No need for a Roku with this capability. I always went with Samsung, but they do not have an OLED model; pretty much just LG and Sony. Samsung has a model called a QLED, but it is still backlit and I think the OLED is much better. I did a lot of research and LG came out on top. Sony Bravia was very good, but $400 more and IMO not worth the price difference. This LG is the best TV I've had to date. You will not be disappointed.
