They also appreciate its excellent gaming performance, with smooth and immersive gameplay. The OLED display is highly praised for its deep blacks and stunning visuals. While some find the remote control a bit difficult to operate and the TV to be on the expensive side, overall, customers are very satisfied with their purchase and consider it a great value for the price.

The picture is great. This is my second LG OLED television and if anything, this one looks better. I don't claim to be any kind of connoisseur but I like it. I do note that I use it in a room with the window blinds drawn. I have heard that OLED is not the greatest in brightly lit rooms but that isn't an issue for me. I use it mostly connected to a computer system. Using an Nvidia 3080 over an HDMI connection (get a rated HDMI 2.1 cable) this TV is GSync Compatible and does HDR. It does Variable Rate Refresh up to 120 Hz. It is excellent for video games. It's Smart TV apps are OK too. Netflix, Vudu, Disney+, Youtube. Check. I don't have any sort of television service at this time. I don't miss it, honestly.

The picture on this TV does not disappoint. Amazing colors, the best contrast that only OLED delivers. PS5 games look AMAZING. Also, price dropped a week after purchase and Beat Buy immediately refunded the difference!

I don't usually write reviews, but this SPECTACULAR TV deserves one, and a pat on the back and pat on the back to LG. I bought the 65 inch version. They outdid themselves. I am a lifelong Samsung guy, and I am forever going to be a LG OLED purchaser from now on. Don't even bother looking at anything else. This TV blows the competition out of the water. Crystal Clear, True Blacks, and stunning detail. You do have to tinker with the settings a little, but not much, to get the exact picture you want. It's worth every penny! The only and I mean only downside is its heavy, with the stand its even heavier so you don't want to move it around a lot, but that's for a reason. Its super thin screen needs that support. I can't believe I waited so long to go to OLED. You won't be disappointed. I'm rewatching content that I've seen a million times and its like watching it for the first time. Gaming is unbelievable, especially on the new Xbox X and PS5. Great Job LG!! Don't wait go buy one TODAY, you won't be dissapointed!!

This is my first OLED TV and after years of research I finally decided to replace my current 1080p 60inch Vizio with this. I already have a 55inch TCL 4K LED so I have already seen what 4k can do. My first issue before even receiving the TV was that the Best Buy salesperson would not let me take the TV home unless I used a large vehicle that could let the TV stand up. While I understand the caution, it made me wait an extra 2 weeks for delivery despite ordering same day instore pickup. Upon receiving the TV finally and unboxing it, its apparently how fragile the TV could be, and assembly was very difficult due to the possibility of bending the very thin screen. I honestly would have liked a thicker TV or some reinforced backing built into the design because you can only lift the TV by the base which itself is very small. Performance wise the TV looks great, but it took over a week of fine tuning to finally get the picture to look as good or better than my previous TV. The preset picture modes all look too washed out or dark. Native 4k content looks gorgeous but 1080p content the scaling isn't quite perfect. I primarily use the TV for gaming with my PS5 and the game mode works as advertised and games running at 4k/60fps looks stunning. The HDMI CEC is annoying though since it will turn on your PS5 even if you don't want it to. I also watch a lot of streaming content, so Disney Plus and Amazon Prime looks amazing but Youtube for some reason only steams in 1080p even if 4k is available My biggest issue with the TV is the sound. The system equalizer is pretty much useless. Regardless of the sound mode, everything has too much bass or reverb. I disabled surround but that only helped a little. If you are using headphones (which I prefer), there is no sound adjustment at all. A lot of reviews I read praised the sound output but for me its just a muddy mess most of the time. My TV shipped with a pretty noticeable defect. In the middle of the panel was a light gray area about the size of a tennis ball. which was not noticeable when the TV was on. I thought maybe the TV was damaged during shipping, but after a couple weeks it cleared itself up. I came very close to returning the TV. The remote is also terrible. The Wii-mote like pointer is so slippery and misses most of the time. Maybe I have a defective unit, but when ever I press the confirm button it half the times tries to activate voice commands which is the button above it. Overall a good TV but with some issues. For the price I expected more and was not blown away. I would give this TV 5 stars would it not be for the sound and remote issues. Buy this TV if you are a gamer as it pairs lovely with a PS5.

This TV is definitely the business! As soon as I hooked it up, everyone in the family had the same thing to say…”whoa!” I hooked up my PS5 to it and I was blown away. Not only do the PS5 titles look great, but my old PS4 titles look so much cleaner and crisper. I definitely recommend if you’re a gamer. I do worry about burn in, but there is a pixel cleaning setting that you can run when the tv is off, so hopefully I’ll be able to get some longevity out of this bad boy. There are 4 HDMI ports - 2 that are eARC/ARC and 3 USB ports. It’s 120 Hz, has a filmmaker mode, a fast user interface, and a pretty sweet remote. I am thoroughly pleased with this tv.

    bright/love the remote/really like webOS

-- very happy with purchase. 3 parts to review: Nice features/one hidden feature worth noting/one super minor complaint. Disclaimer: I got 25 best buy points as a result of writing this review. I very rarely write reviews so this was an incentive, but I also happen to like this TV, and the salesperson at Best Buy was surprisingly knowledgeable and helpful! :-) HAPPY STUFF: -- super bright and very happy with custom settings for brightness (movie, daytime, etc) easily accessed by pressing the gear on the remote. -- got the SP8YA 3.1.2 ch Sound Bar and it has been a really incredible addition; never had a sound bar before and it makes any TV watching much, much more enriching. And voice pops to make it easier to hear spoken voice. -- looks great and has almost no bezel, looks beautiful. -- I prefer webOS versus my only other experience, Samsung TIZEN smart TV interface. {some people could care less about this...} ... I really like the LG remote with quick-shake to get mouse arrow on screen, and I like the webOS navigation versus Samsung TIZEN interface. .. I got a samsung with TIZEN interface for my Dad recently and I have always been very fond of the samsung displays. But after using TIZEN, I just found Samsung's interface to be annoying (how so? ...google a review, RTINGS.com is awesome, but... .. TIZEN just seems rather restrictive and ultimately the mouse arrow navigation on the LG remote was the biggest feature I really like, as well as settings seem a lot quicker and more intuitive to access on LG versus TIZEN. -- this LG (OLED) was a LOT more expensive than I was planning on spending but I figured the last TV I purchased was a Samsung 46" HDTV 14 years ago. OLED seemed like a very good choice at this point. HIDDEN FEATURE TIME: -- google this but.. very nice quick access to any app that you install by using the number pad on the remote (while in an app, press the 'zero' key on number bad [on remote] and menu with number pad opens on screen, select numbers 1 through 9 and you then can hold those numbers and quick-launch an app... so set '6' for hulu and then when you power the TV on, press and hold 6 and it will launch Hulu. Very quick and saves time rather than navigating the webOS to find Hulu.) MAIN COMPLAINT. { super trivial! } -- I wish the remote had "rewind/pause-play/forward" feature; using center wheel/button and outer ring left/right edges to play/pause/rewind/etc is... sort of clumsy. This is so trivial as a complaint but... it would be nice to have play/pause/rewind/especially 10-second rewind!

This TV is amazing. Displays a true black. When watching a movie and the screen goes black, I loetrrallt can't tell if the TV is on or off. Colors are amazing. The factory remote isn't so hot. I'm still getting the handle of it 3 months in, but the picture is glorious. Recently starting watching the Rings of Power and HOTD. The colors and detail are amazing. Haven't tested out the gaming bc. I don't game much anymore. The sound quality is much better than I anticipated, although I'll soon be adding a Bluetooth speaker. But pure quality is what I'm most pleased with.

My experience with LG C1 vs Sony A8H... LG wins.

The best thing i did was return my Sony A8H for the LG C1. I do not know if my critique applies to the newer Sony A8J, but if the A8H and A8J are almost identical in performance, then the LG C1 is the way to go. I'm not a gamer, I do not own a gaming console. I consider myself a movie and TV watching enthusiast. I own a Fire Stick (Netflix, HBO max, Disney+, etc.) satellite DirecTV, a dedicated UHD player for 4K BluRay and HD Blu-ray playback. All external items are connected to my Denon AVR via eArc. Both the C1 and A8H display an amazing image, most especially in comparison to my QLED I'm replacing. The A8H provides actually a more defined picture and black details were outstanding. But that's it. A8H however lacked picture color, the images always appeared more flat and whatever content i watched, i always found myself fidgeting with the settings to achieve a brighter screen. The A8H could never get bright enough. The real deal breaker for was two fold 1. Motion and 2. Dark vertical banding. This is where i say shoppers need to do their homework before buying a product and take everything Best Buy floor sales "experts" say about the products they sell with a grain of salt. I've heard their sales team tell customers the "Sony are the best with motion", "Sony is the creme of the creme." Well, i attest the contrary. The A8H motion was awful, the motion picture will stutter, and stutter significantly. My only workaround was to increase the frames but I am getting into the soap opera effect. Even then, motion still stutters. I expressed this sentiment to the best buy experts and it was blasphemy to their ears. They said I'm the first to ever make this complaint, and questioned it's my HDMI connections. I say negative to that. Doing further research "stutter" appears to be an adherent problem with OLED technology due to its high frame. Low frame content will have a degree of stutter in motion. This is where the C1 outright beats the A8H. The handling of stutter on the C1 is superior and hardly noticeable watching content. A huge win for the C1. 2. As for dark scene vertical banding. Not apparent; haven't found any in dark scenes content. Overall, though the A8H has a much better shadow/dark scene details, this is only one aspect of movie watching. The LG C1 shines above in more areas than just one, with "stutter" being the biggest. LG C1 is brighter, handles stutter better, colors are bright, punchy, and alive...not muted. Critics are hard on the C1 for "black crush" and in accurate colors but i can tell you the "black crush" has an easy workaround. Inaccurate colors?? C1 picture is still more captivating and vibrant than the Sony. The upscaling of low rate content, ie DirecTV, Blu-ray discs is spot-on to the Sony's. (I cannot comment of audio speakers because the C1 is connected to my surround sound. I will give it 3 stars because they are never excellent. Get at the very least a sound bar.) In all, the best decision I made was to swap out the Sony for the LG C1 .

First I want to start off by saying I'm not paid to say any of this I'm not promoted to say any of this I'm just a regular customer. Now.. WOW.. all I can say about this TV is WOW.. this old LED C1 is truly magnificent I absolutely love the new WebOS.. The game modes pretty awesome even though I wish it had features that showed your FPS your input lag and stuff like a game bar. The picture is phenomenal and at least for me it is bright enough even in my well-lit living room. Colors are beyond beautiful detail is extraordinary really crazy good and it is very easy to set up and adjust. All 4 HDMI ports being 2.1 capable is what a TV should have.. the only thing I will say I do not like is the lack of certain apps like HBO Max an Others. I do not understand why neither company has pursued getting APPs Like that on the One of the best OLEDs. I got the 55" but it's going back for the 65" C1. But Other then that.. this TV gets a 5 out of 5 for picture quality features ease-of-use and the operating system

Great picture quality and easy set-up. My Playstation 5 and computer both look great on the TV and run super smooth thanks to the refresh rate (I typically run at 60 hrz refresh with higher definition). Brightness is great in my basement. The only slight I have on this TV relate to the interface - we exclusively stream, which doesn't launch automatically so my PS5 automatically turns on with the TV. I haven't found a way to lunch into the TV's built in streaming interface without first starting up an input. Sound quality from the TV isn't great, I would recommend getting a sound bar or sound system.

When I went into Sam's Club, the TV near the door stopped me AND MY WIFE in our tracks, with the amazing contrast, brilliant colors and the blackest of blacks! My wife does not stop for TVs! I researched the TV and discovered that their was only a 60HZ model. I have always bought 120 HZ and my last great TV was a Panasonic Plasma, which at THAT time (2011) has the darkest blacks. The sound is incredible. making me think I don't need my surround sound system and tall speakers. AMAZING. In fact the TV speakers is al I am using now. My Onkyo is taking a breather (by choice). I do not regret this purchase!

I bought this to pair with my PS5 and replace an old 1080 plasma TV. I have to say this is an amazing TV. The difference between my old TV and this one is substantial and I am very happy with my purchase. It is made for gaming and there is a lot of streaming programing that I have been watching that is 4K and looks great. There are a lot of screen savers and such and even though I got the 5 year plan I am really not worried about burn in. The TV will take care of itself. Buy this with confidence and enjoy. It is the best there is and I did a lot of research.

Super contrast and better than the A1. Standby refreshes and dims to minimize burn-ins. It's a great improvement from entry models and probably the best bang for your bucks. I play games a lot and watch a lot of sci-fi outer space movies so this is perfect. If you're not into dark theme type of movies/games/shows or your tv space is exposed to a great amount of lighting, I would recommend Qled instead-but if you have minimal light exposure and you love the high contrast and colorful theme, this is the best thing in the market for this price range.

absolutely incredible picture quality. great for 4K HDR content from any source. HDR really is the next step in video quality, it’s not another snake oil. with this television being an OLED model, the difference between brights and deep blacks are huge as each pixel is lit independently. Whether you’re watching a 4KUHD blu-ray, using streaming services like Disney+, Netflix, HBO Max, or gaming on the new consoles Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 (both at 120hz refresh rate!) this tv will exceed your expectations and bring new depth to your favorite content.

Picture is clear and bright. Colors are vibrant and life like. You can’t go wrong with any of the high end OLED’s. This TV is great for Gaming movies and streaming. HDR or SD content either looks phenomenal. I was concerned about possible burn in over time. Lg has made strides to help prevent this from happening. Besides just add a Best Buy warranty. They cover dead pixels or burn in! Cover your investment. Over all I give this tv a 9/10 no better picture is available at this time!

Great looking television. Contrast needs to be seen to believed. When compared with a non-OLED, side-by-side, you can definitely see the difference. All HDMI ports are 2.1 and support 120hz. Great gaming features to reduce input lag and screen tearing, with use of variable refresh rate and freesync. Panel could be a bit brighter, and requires a few settings tweaks, but still may be noticeable when watching in direct sunlight. All in all, great TV and gorgeous picture and build.

I went in to Best Buy intending to get a mild upgrade to my current TV (same 65" size, 120hz) in the form of a Sony, but then I saw the OLEDs side-by-side with the LEDs. They had probably the best example for a video playing, showing a night cityscape. The differences were very apparent, especially how clear everything looked without the backlight bloom on the lights. I compared the specs of the LG and a comparable Sony. The Sony was another couple hundred, with no noticeable increase in specs (plus none of the gaming features the LG has). I had been hesitant to go OLED, mainly because of possible brightness issues. But the room my TV is in is pretty dark, and I've had no issues when watching anything. My first test on setting up the TV was to turn on a 4K of Planet Earth. The color was incredible, and scenes at night have greater clarity than ever. For my PS5 games, Ghost of Tsushima's already beautiful colors pop even more, and I can't begin to describe how good Horizon: Forbidden West looks. While I probably won't be connecting my gaming PC to the TV, the FreeSync and GSync options make this an option. HDR is extremely apparent on the TV, compared to my older Samsung with it's 8 or 10 zones. The only (very) minor complaint I have is the remote. Mostly because I've just become a fan of Samsung's minimalist design. For the price, this is the best way to get into a larger OLED. I haven't found much in the way of negative reviews or comments, especially since this model has a form of automatic maintenance to extend pixel life and prevent burn-in. Like most people have said, this TV will do much better in a darker room. If you have lots of uncovered windows, it would probably be better to go for an LED model that can get up to 1000 nits of brightness (for HDR).

I have been in the market for a new TV for years. I finally bit the bullet and got this TV. All I can say is that it was worth every penny. Quite literally the best picture quality I have ever seen. There is no bleed in at all during darker scenes. Really great video game performance as well. The VRR (variable refresh rate) basically eliminates all screen tearing while gaming. If you are in the market for a TV then this is the one for you. Excellent mix of quality and value.

So far we are very happy with the tv. The picture is fantastic and the sound isn't terrible considering how thin the TV is. We do plan on getting a Soundar though. My biggest complaint is the menus are a little less intuitive than my previous Sony. It doesn't have an abundance of inputs/outputs but I think that's what makes it such an affordable 65" TV. Also, compared to our 2016 Sony LED TV, the contrast and color are leaps and bounds better on this TV. Love it.
