The size, color, and thin profile of this 65" LG OLED is perfect for the family room. I did NOT mount it on the wall as reviews indicated issues with sound and instead placed it on a tv credenza.
Ease and use, connectivity to apps, gaming etc. are a snap.
The only reason I did NOT give it 5 stars is due to the lack of crisp sound - speakers are still in the back/side. Perhaps a sound bar is an option but been there, done that.
My hope is that LG will continue to work on improving location of speakers for quality sound.
I understand that this year's model the C2 series has improved lighting... I didn't see much of a difference between the two.
Would I buy this TV again? Absolutely!

The LG C1 OLED is a great TV. It's bright and beautiful. Calibration was almost perfect right out of the box, I only had to do a little tweaking here and there. I have it connected to a PS5 and gaming looks incredible! WebOS works extremely well for accessing all the normal streaming services.
Best Buy delivery was simple and easy, too. Arrived in the quoted time frame and they brought it upstairs for me.

I'm in love with this TV! I'm not really tech savvy but love the quality when I'm watching any high resolution movies and shows. I don't think I can go back to tvs that are not OLED! The price also is not bad considering that you're getting such an amazing display, especially during dark scenes. I also love the LG channels! I definitely recommend this TV! Just make sure that your wifi is fast if you'll be streaming anything with this tv.

I'm 99% happy with my the purchase of my 65 inch LG C1 I bought around black Friday in 2021. The purchase and pickup was no hassle, and this was my first step into OLED territory.
Yes, there are better TVs available, but the price to performance ratio was perfect for me - 4K viewing, true blacks, and gaming at 120hz (when available).
Two years in, my only complaints are the amount of refections that can be seen during the day (expected since it has no reflective coating, but still annoying at times), and the tv can sometimes be a bit slow when switching from different apps. Also, brightness could be a bit better for daytime viewing, but I know this isn't really an issue with the newer generations anymore.
I would recommend using something like a 4K Apple TV for streaming apps and a nice sound bar to pair with the tv.

I bought this LG, recently to replace a Samsung tv that had broken. While it was way more then I waa ever wanting to spend on a tv. I must say the picture quality is the best I have ever seen on a tv. The perfect blacks and bright colors look amazing on everything you are watching. It has plenty of HDMI port for hooking up all of my gaming consoles. The LG magic remote is super easy to you with it and make navigation around the menus super easy. I do have some complaints though. The settings menu seems super basic and I wish it was a little more in depth. For example the hdmi CEC feature that allows you to to use the lg remote to turn on and control other devices. Its neat except every time i turn on my tv it turns on my ps5 with it or back out of an app if turns my ps5 on which is super annoying. If you turn that feature off it disables it on all hdmi ports. It would be nice if you could turn that feature on or off on a per port basis. The second complaint is the LG onboard app library is lacking some of the major apps that are available on Samsung tvs. My last complaint is there no native chromecast option for this tv it has airplay but no easy way to do chromecast without having to download a companion app on your android phone. With all of thaf said it is still the nicest tv i have ever owned and love it all the same.

Simply the best. I love the crispness that comes from LG’s Flagship TV the brightness from the Olea is more than plenty for my household. The 120hz Is great for PS5 and PC hookups. 4 HDMI 2.1 ports makes it so that all your next gen devices play at their best. Great sounding down firing speakers deliver great lows and crisp highs with the AI pro mode!

Upgraded from a 55" LG 4K from 2017, the reviews are right about the contrast and it has a few different options to find the right picture quality for your room lighting, the updates in the OS are beautiful, but the weight difference between the 2 was very noticeable, I had to have help moving and setting up the new one and can move the old one one handed, so just expect that you'll need help,

Looked at OLEDs for a solid year before purchasing and I'm extremely pleased. Very good television especially if youre using it in a light controlled room with the appropriate display settings. Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, 120Hz, gaming features (VRR, Auto low latency mode), 4x HDMI 2.1 ports, near infinite contrast, etc. Highly recommend.

The picture is outstanding. This is my first OLED tv having had LEDs before. It is everything I expected from OLED and more. Resolution, color rendition and contrast are excellent; the blacks are really black, even in a lighted room. I have it connected to my 5.1 sound system thus can't speak to the TVs own sound capabilities.

OMG - I've seen the light!!!!
This TV is insanely amazing. It's the nicest picture quality out of the box that I have ever experienced in my living room. Its so beautiful to watch. Even after a couple of month, I still watch in amazement. We all know that TV sound quality these days is pretty pathetic, but this one isn't too bad. I'd still recommend a sound bar, but it's passable. The menu layout is easy to navigate and the supplied remote works well and feels comfortable to hold. Any time you add an external device, the TV immediately recognizes it and is easily accessed though the menu. True 4K HDR video is awe inspiring to watch. And the blacks, WOW, can't get any blacker. I'm in LOVE with this TV.
The only small complaint I have, is sometimes when the TV is turned on, it doesn't always recognize my sound bar, and plays the sound through both the TV and sound bar, which creates an odd echo-y sound. I have to turn everything off and then on again to fix the problem. A pain, but worth it when it comes to this quality of picture.

So far so good had the tv for about a month and it works great. The sound is good for basic speakers but I have a well equipped surround system to make watching this amazing. The perfect black makes a world of difference. And no real delay even in game mode. I’ll update this review if I experience any problems later.

Have been watching OLED, QLED and Nano, since CES2019. Was convinced OLED had the better technology but was waiting on Nano to compare. When this LG 65" C1 hit my price point, I bit. NOT disappointed. The OLED contrast is astounding, the colors are vibrant. Concerns about brightness unfounded, it is bright even in a fully daylite room. Sound takes a little adjusting to find the right EQ for the show and our ears.
Not impressed with the WebOS, takes some getting acquainted to. Too many ads and you have to sign away your privacy on most apps. Android has the better OS, but the OLED display is fantastic and by far the better technology.
As a side note: I have a UPS attached to the entertainment system (TV, DVR, Amp, etc.), which shows instantaneous power consumption. System off is a standby of 30va - mostly cable box. Our old projection TV ran a constant 250va when on. A typical backlit 48" display, 175va. The OLED, on but black screen is 70va, During any given show, the UPS jumps from 70va to about 200va depending on the brightness (whiteness) of the display. Not only a better picture, but saving electricity at the same time. I can live with the WebOS to get this kind of picture.

I finally took the plunge and picked up this TV on a sale after trying to convince myself for some time and I am very happy with my choice. It is a fantastic TV that was a seamless fit for my specific needs. It performs amazingly for TV, Movies, and Gaming (Both PS5 and PC). Having had a high-end LCD TV previously with greyish black levels that always seemed to bother me, the perfect contrast and blacks make it hard to ever consider going back. There are some considerations to keep in mind when you are choosing OLED; greyscale banding, gradients, and the possibility of burn-in is always there but I purchased the geeksquad 5 year plan for peace of mind for that. Some people worry about HDR content with the lower peak brightness inherent with current OLED tech, however I had to eventually add bias lighting behind the screen to help with eye fatigue from the perfect contrast for bight objects against perfect black so that is not a concern for me. The other drawbacks are greatly outweighed by what the TV has going for it in the image quality department, movies have never looked more clear on 4K UHD blurays and I am excited to continue to grow my collection.

I am in absolute love. ❤
The LG C1 OLED is a work of art, and it's worth every penny. Set it up in a dimly lit area, and you're in for one heck of an experience; the self-illuminating pixels pop with vibrant color, and, with Dolby Atmos, you won't even need a sound bar. This thing is its own home theater experience.

This TV is insanely good. I previously had a Samsung 4K TV that I got 7 years ago and a power surge took that one out. I really loved the TV that’s why I was initially looking at the Samsung Q90T. I read and watched all different types of reviews and comparisons of the two TVs - almost every single one had this TV has the superior TV because of the ‘true blacks’ it could provide. The only concern I had was how it would do in a bright room - let me tell you, if you have this same concern, don’t! It does incredibly well in a bright room, even when natural light is pouring through the windows.
As for picture quality, its insanely good. I never really understood the hype behind the ‘true blacks’ that this TV can provide and thought it was just another marketing ploy, but I can honestly say the blacks on this TV are BLACK. It makes the TV and the other colors appear way more vibrant and brighter because of the contrast. I cannot recommend this TV enough, if I could give it 10 stars I would!
p.s. if you get this TV, get ready to have an anxiety attack trying to move it out of the box and mounted on a wall…..the thinness is absolutely terrifying and feels like you are going to break it.
Enjoy!

Love the Tv. Initially I was a bit hesitant to spend $2000 on a TV but from the minute I switched it on, I have perpetually been in a state of amazement. The dynamic range of colors are so vast and the vibrancy is just brilliant. OLED is definitely the way to go if you want to maximize on viewing quality. It’s simply marvelous!
I also have a gaming console and gaming on this TV is also very pleasing. 120 Hz is definitely ideal for gaming, game mode settings can help in customization for better usage .
Another feature that I love is the AI powered audio calibration, this is the first I’ve owned a TV with this capability and it’s very convenient in detecting the environment and adjusting audio settings accordingly.
Dolby vision and atmos is a great addition, with more and more content being made available that support this , having a TV with these options is definitely worth it.
Lastly, I cannot get over how thin the actual TV is. It is absolutely surreal, it does worry me that I can be quite brittle and if improperly handled may result in damage.
One month in, I am a happier person with this TV. Sure, I’m $2000 poorer but money does buy happiness and this TV is proof of that.

Amazing picture quality!
As a longtime user of LED backlit tvs, this is my first OLED tv and I don’t think I can go back to backlit. The black levels are too good and the Unicode contrast ratio make for the best picture quality I’ve ever seen on a tv.
Gaming is amazing with its game mode features that make input lag imperceptible.
This tv is in my living room, and during the day, it can get pretty bright, but for as reflective as the screen is, it handles incoming light like a champ. It’s not directly facing a window, but there are large windows on either side, but it gets just bright enough so that it’s not a problem.
WebOS is fine. I’ve never been a fan of any tv os as the apps are always much more sluggish than even the cheapest of streaming boxes. But if you’re short on ports, WebOS and it’s apps are more than serviceable.
Sound is better than other I’ve heard on other tvs, not the best, but definitely in the upper echelon in the absence of a sound bar.
Overall, easily the best tv I’ve ever had and have disunity jumped on the OLED bandwagon. You won’t be disappointed!

As a recent owner of the LG C1 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV, I can confidently say that it has redefined my home entertainment experience. This TV is a true masterpiece, offering stunning visuals and an array of features that make it a standout choice in the market.
First and foremost, the LG C1's OLED display is nothing short of extraordinary. At 65 inches, the screen size is perfect for creating a cinematic experience right in your living room. The 4K UHD resolution delivers impeccable picture quality, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and incredible contrast. Watching movies, sports, or even everyday TV shows is a treat for the eyes, as every detail is brought to life with astonishing clarity.
