I was a Samsung QLED loyalist. The brightness and the colors I thought were unbeatable. Then come the LG C1. WOW! Color saturation, motion, and just overall picture quality is amazing. It may not get as bright as the Samsung QLEDs, but it doesn’t need to. The only way I can describe the image in this is that Samsung’s image is dry, where as LG’s is wet. Colors seem so much more vibrant and alive . Don’t get me wrong, Samsung’s QLEDs look great, but with the LG OLED, there is no blooming and the colors are just spot on. I highly recommend this TV!!

The Absolute Best For Our Budget

The picture quality is outstanding. The blacks are the deepest blacks and appears like the TV is actually off. I love that the ability to turn on the blue light filter is an option and helps with my headaches. Definitely a two person job to install and attach the base to the screen. A little unnerving I’m boxing in order not to break the screen because it’s so thin or caused demarcation due to hand placement upon unboxing. Plenty of ports! Works great with next gen video game console (PS5).

After researching for a new TV, after my old TV failed I went ahead and purchased this LG model. All of the reviews were on point and they did not disappoint with the amazing black levels and detailed picture quality. After upgrading from an LCD model to an OLED model, there's no turning back and all future TV purchases will be OLED. If your purchase this TV you will not be disappointed one bit. The gaming mode makes everything pop correctly with no notice of lag or picture errors. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

As a Samsung owner (last 2 TVs), I am honestly lukewarm on LG products, but I was very interested in OLED. I compared Sony’s version, but didn’t want to pay more for the same technology without a discernible visual difference. Having lived with my LG OLED for several weeks, I can say without a doubt it is the best TV I have owned. The picture quality and color are outstanding and the smart features are excellent as well. I have come around to LG, well at least to their OLED televisions.

This is a wonderful TV, beautiful color, is a smart TV so has all the functions, and we love that we can just go to a web browser (just like we're at the computer) and play any videos we want. The only thing I can't stand is the remote that came with it - the mouse pointer is ridiculous. I guess we could replace it with a universal remote, however.

Excellent picture. 4K image is very sharp. Very thin bezel. Remote control is nice. I replaced a six year old LED from another brand and the difference in picture quality is very clear with this OLED. I have it hooked up to a 5.1 home theater as the sound from the built-in speakers is predictably tinny, but no worse than any other 65" TV these days. My only concerns are burn-in, as a relative has burned-in logos on two similar tvs over the past five years. Will see...and will make sure not to leave on static images.

First OLED TV and wow, I'm impressed! Great for low light settings such as den/basement. In brighter rooms you may have problems with how dim the TV can be as compared to QLED. Initially hesitant due to risk of burn in (primarily used for gaming) and did purchase a 5 year protection plan to help alleviate worries. I will say as compared to my Samsung q80t it was well worth the extra cost of coverage especially if used in dark rooms. Dark scenes looking amazing as compared to Samsung alternative and having multiple HDMI 2.1 ports is another plus for the LG.

The LG C1 is not just one of the best TVs you can purchase in this price range, it’s just one of the best TVs period. Similar to the previous C model line, this OLED TV is just leaps and bounds better than most of the stuff on the market. What I liked: The picture is undeniably one of the best out there. While it’s not an 8K device, the HDR enabled 4K content, such as Dolby Vision, looks absolutely breathtaking. If you’re just looking for the best picture without spending thousands upon thousands of dollars, it’s tough to beat the C1. The screen is super thin (seriously, it’s less than half the thickness of my finger) so it takes up next to no space. That said, installing it by yourself isn’t recommended. There are plenty of inputs for your video devices, such as game consoles etc, but that’s pretty standard for most TVs. The out-of-box calibration is solid. Changing the picture mode to cinema is a great starting point until you can break in the screen a bit and use some real tools to calibrate it perfectly for your room. The OS and software is fairly snappy and responsive, at least compared to my previous Samsung. The remote, while not outstanding, does provide lots of convenient button shortcuts to your favorite apps. What I didn’t like: The special AI sound feature (I’m not 100% sure if that’s the actual name of it) is weird. It adjusts the volume too often and gives you a weird range where sometimes you hear every footstep and then seconds later, an explosion will sound super muffled. If you’re using this TV, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not using some kind of speaker setup, be it a full system or even just a soundbar. My biggest complaint, and really it’s not even anything that’s wrong with the device, is that setting it up is nerve wracking. The screen is sooo thin that you feel like it’s going to snap in half anytime you love it at all. Installing the stand or mounting it on a wall is 100% in need of at least 2 people. Please don’t attempt to do it by yourself or you’ll almost certainly have a pile of broken glass. Overall though, the cons are so minor compared the outstanding visual performance you get so it’s an easy 5/5 for me.

Quality of the picture is so crisp and clear. I did my research for months before finally purchasing the PUB model and not the AUB, and J am very satisfied. Easy to install and set up, not heavy or bulky at all. The only con I can see so far is that the stand it comes with is really short, problematic if you want to add a sound bar. The guy at the store said you can purchase a longer stand separately, so you can update it but have to pay extra. Sound quality is also great even without auxiliary speakers or surround sound.

This tv has an absolute gorgeous picture, the audio is very good for the size of the speakers in it.the remote is very sensitive and takes a little getting used to.The cable management could be better for those that have multiple cables going to it. Make sure to use good hdmi cables for the best quality picture. The web os is workable but needs improvement.I use this tv for streaming videos using an apple tv 4k hdr box and a 4k Blu-ray player.I have not used it for gaming so can not comment on that part of it.

Best option when your awesome plasma finally dies.

I chose this TV after a lot of research to replace a 2014 era 60" Samsung plasma. I am very pleased. There were a few specific things that concerned me plus a couple I didn't think of that I'll address. I was concerned about the fragility of the very thin screen. I saw a couple of OLEDs (both LG and Sony) on display that appeared to have buckled / warped under their own weight. I was especially concerned about not hanging them perfectly vertical. Mine is about 5 deg forward. So far, everything is fine. I was also concerned about refresh. I have seen some blurred images during sports that I did not notice with my plasma. However, it may have been more about the source and a more critical (too close) viewing distance. From a reasonable viewing distance it seems fine. Overall, I'd have to say this is a better picture than my plasma (which was also not a 4k tv) and I am pleased with this, including the viewing angle. So the picture experience is somewhere between "not noticing a change from a 60" plasma" to "better". Oh, the reflections on the plasma glass are much less on this screen - that is nice. The only reason I did not give a 5th star is that I really do not like the LG GUI. Its it overly complex. The simple things (changing inputs and exiting menus) are too hard and the interface seems 70% clogged with things I'll never use. Unfortunately, the store could not (or would not) demonstrate this ahead of time. I'm not sure I would have made a different choice but it would have at least been a more informed choice. Perhaps somewhere buried in the OS is a way to simplify the GUI. While perhaps I'm "too old" for the tech, my 16 year old is also bothered by it. We are still learning how to manage the sound. There are a number of choices and none of them seem to be able to project pleasing background and clear voice at the same time. Our old set had maybe 3 choices and all were superior. If you are like me and convinced that OLED is your only option to replicate the plasma experience, you will be pleased with this picture! I do highly recommend that you get an opportunity experience the GUI (and also try Sony) before you buy. I will also mention that our 2019ish LG GUI is MUCH better so our previous expectation with LG was positive. Other positives; the price was right and the Geek Squad "deal" was ALMOST tempting now. In fact, after hanging this TV ourselves (we did it, its fine) because this TV is so light (potentially fragile) its built without great options for handling it. I'm guessing LG engineers all use the base and have never put one on the wall. First, it sits higher than our old TV. To put it in the same location, I had to lower our mount. This was aggravating but you can't see the paint damage....Second, if you purchase anything larger than 65", I highly recommend hiring Best Buy to do it. The support & installation deal is now worth it. They have the experience and probably extra tricks to do this easily (and they'd be responsible for lifting the massive, fragile object with no handles....) Its a shame to be stuck with the brick of a base. I'd rather not have to buy it unless I want it. I have a pile of flat screen bases now - need one? Last thing, if this matters to you, you will be happy to find this info. Our set up involves an amplified 75 ft plus run of in-wall HDMI from about 10 years ago. I was worried, very worried it wouldn't work on new tech. Its fine. (I am also still looking for the parts to fix my plasma....)

Overall I’m happy with my purchase. LG has awful customer service and tech support so 10/10 would never call them for help again. However thieir tv is being used as my living room PC gaming station set up in 2k and I must say I’m extremely impressed between the refresh rate and image quality. Needs a bit of tweaking depending on what game you play but overall it’s amazing.

Wow! What a picture! The colors are extraordinary. They jump right out at you. I buy a TV to watch it. I Love watching this TV! My only complaint is that there is no instruction manual for the LG Magic Remote. I looked for it online but the closest I came was on in Korean. I have pretty much figured it out, but with a manual it would have been a lot easier. Anyway, what I want to stress is the marvelous picture my LG OLED TV has.

One year in, exceptional product. This unit was self-installed wall mount and have functioned very well from a picture quality standpoint. We use with an AppleTV set top box, so do not utilize any smart tv functionality. Glare can be a bit distracting at times, but no brightness issues in a relatively bright room. AVR handles the audio, so no idea on sound quality.

This TV has been reviewed countless times (along with the Cx line) and everything they say is true. The picture quality, brightness, etc is mind blowing. For me it was a HUGE upgrade over my several year old Sony Bravia 4k TV. My only gripe - and this is a universal complaint - is that I wish you could program / customize the dedicated app buttons on the remote. I will never need Alexa or Google assistant at my fingertips, but I sure would like to launch Vudu (or whatever) quickly. The button is there - let me decide what it launches.

Could not be happier! After doing my research and finding this model to be top rated by several different websites/publications I pulled the trigger and made the purchase. Everyone that sees it comments on how thin it is and how great the picture is. Setup was easy and content from Netflix,Blu-ray,Apple TV and cable are exceptional. The colors are vibrant and the blacks are deep with no artifacts. There are lots of options for less money but if you’re able and willing to spend more money you won’t regret it.

Bought this in early 2022 on sale, loved it and was blown away by the blacks and picture clarity then 3 months in the screen took a dump and developed the dreadded vertical line, luckily i got a warranty and had a guy replace the screen on it, and its been going strong a year later. Even with that issue ill never buy another brand or downgrade fome OLED.
