Definitely worth the money with how well it syncs with all my gaming systems and is capable of doing 120 frames per second This is hands-down the best TV I have ever seen and I did have a little sticker shock when I bought it but once I experienced it it made it well worth the money. And I kept justifying it to myself thinking that 15 years ago people with regular we spend over a grand for a flatscreen plasma TV that was the best technology then and this TV has the best technology now

The best TV I've bought (but it's new)...

It's not like I can A/B these TV's, but that said, this LG OLED picture is bright and stunning, Remarkable. People who see it are always blown away by the resolution and the pop of the colors. I have a 4K projector and original curved 55" OLED and a Sony 4K Bravia. I also a number of lower cost units. This one is the best quality-wise and picture-wise, but in fairness, it's new. But it's certainly worth the money and impressive. I got a soundbar for it, so won't comment on the sound.

The TV is ultra-thin, with a sleek modern design. The OLED technology allows movies and shows with darker cinematography to appear even darker which is so impressive! The stock speakers on the TV are actually pretty good, but we bundled and saved by getting the LG soundbar with it. Hearing and seeing things in Dolby when Dolby tech is available really elevates all tv experiences. It's EXPENSIVE though, so be prepared to drop a lot of money on this tech, but my husband and I see it as an investment.

Quite tired of writing these reviews. Got 0 points so far for writing so many reviews. But heck, i will write what I should have read in the review before buying: Now, it would be a joke if I assume you never considered A1. I actually bought A1, but then after an hour, came back and paid $300 more for C1. Three reasons: 1. Brightness 2. EVO panel 3. How Korean companies work. 1. Brightness. This panel is far brighter than A1. You will notice that C1 is brighter than A1 but that noticeable difference is missing between C1 and G1. Reason is because our eyes cannot manage dimness but after a certain level of brightness, it is all the same because the iris will start blocking light out. If you notice the surrounding dims when you look away, the iris narrowing is in action, i.e. you are watching it too bright. Well that happened with C1 but not A1 when I was at Best Buy LG OLED showroom. So, C1 is more than bright for me, and my guess was right as the brightness held well even during the day when it was facing the sun near the window. So that’s that. 2. EVO panel. Well it is old news that LG touted the new Guangzhou factory line will produce the EVO panel. But here’s the thing: an OLED engineer told me the assembly line cannot make an inferior OLED for lower range levels. Well, C1 is coming out from this factory since end 2021 so go figure. 3. How Korean companies work. Well, as someone who loved and lived in Korea, this is how the lines work: the best, the value-added and the downright-stripped-down. So G1, C1 and A1. What do you think would be the best value? Well I wished I read a review like this before I bought it. Tore my hair out in doubt for nothing. Now I have a new problem: I can see nonlinear burnout of all standrard LCD/LED panels. Need to go home and watch OLED to assure myself my eyes are fine.

I started with a 55 when the OLED first came out, my first tv was a plasma and this stays in line with that minus the heat! The black is true black, it can make some scenes hard to see in well lit rooms… but makes up for the smoothness in picture and gameplay! I will never not by an OLED TV, there is no going back. I can not speak to sound on this tv as it was the first thing I disabled! With this kind of tv you do not buy it for the sound quality!

Have had a C8 and have a C9. This TV looks identical but definitely an upgrade. If you’re a gamer, it’s the best OLED, in my opinion. Brightness and color, eh, it seems very close to my C9, maybe a tad better. I do like the new LG OS though, and again, the game optimizer settings are awesome! If you have a C9 or CX, I’d not upgrade unless you need the latest and greatest or want the extra game settings, but for new buyers to OLED, this is a great tv for the value, especially over Sony if you’re a gamer, hands down! As far as brightness goes, it gets plenty light for what I need, but if you want something vivid and pushing the high hundreds/close to 1000 inits range, wait and get the G1, but again, I think the C1 is plenty bright for majority of the places you’ll use it. Curtains/blinds anyone?

All-around great purchase! Phenomenal picture and sound for built-in speakers. Bought it to pair with the XBOX Series X and I haven’t looked back! 4K @ 120 Hz is just amazing. We noticed a big change between 60Hz. Butter smooth between that and VRR. Overall, not much dialing-in needed. It really shines with content using Dolby Vision. There is also a noticeable improvement in sound with the onboard sound when Dolby Atmos kicks in. Voice feature works well.

Incredible. Once you get this TV you will be spoiled. The contrast/color are just incredible. True blacks! This is one of the best TV images you can buy right now without spending >2k. Gaming looks even better than movies, due to HDR content. Pros: - incredible contrast and color - brightness is very good. I'm able to see the screen no problems even in broad daylight. Cons - None so far. Only had this TV for a few months, so no issues with burn-in yet.

Tv is sharp and has clear picture. It also has some caveats, such as cannot leave it on a static image for long without burn-in occurring. Also is not as bright as Samsung or Sony, so if you want that bright white picture to shine thru you’re not going to see it. I could not go without so I opted for the Sony instead because I tend to want that bright pop to my set & occasionally want to pause the tv for longer periods of time. Sony is not going to have any burn-in issues. Oled’s are good TV’s but they have a few more years to go before they will have the same kind of lumens as FALD TV’s and that’s where they suffer in my opinion. Darks are amazing & space scenes look great. But at their current pricing they don’t compare well.

This TV is simply amazing. Upgraded from my 4 year old LED 4K and I am beyond impressed. If you like movies and gaming, this tv is perfect for you. My Xbox Series X looks gorgeous and all the games look even better than before. It's pricy, but I use it every single day, so why not enjoy my experience as much as possible.

This is an amazing TV. I needed to replace a 10 year old top of the line Panasonic plasma TV. Today’s QLED TV’s came nowhere close to the picture quality of the Plasma. But… this LG C1 OLED… is an amazing TV. Beautiful picture, great blacks and great motion handling. An excellent replacement for my plasma. There is a reason why this is the top rated TV for 2021.

Most amazing screen out there. I am still blown away by the colors, blacks, and clarity. The only problem I have is finding content to push it's limits. Most content presented as UHD & 4k aren't a true experience. But even 1080p looks very good. Xbox series X visuals will bow you away. Just remember you are buying for the picture. If you want great sound, you have to add to the set up, but that's with all tvs. Not sure if I'll ever go back to the theater now.

When I was deciding to purchase a new television, I knew it was time to go with a 4K and the specs that optimize gaming. I was torn between this and the the Samsung QLED. I am so glad I went with the OLED. The picture quality is unreal and unmatched. With all of the future-proof features this television offers, I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if you're gaming with the new generation consoles.

The picture is amazing! Easy hook up and the controls are straight forward. We mounted it on an extending bracket and it was a little nerve wracking at first pulling it out and turning it, it's so thin I thought for sure I would break it. Great tv! My only complaint is when I picked it up the two helping me load it didn't seem to know what they were doing and gave me some false information (a little rudely). C'est la vie! I still love the TV

I had seen the quality of the screen colors at the store. My grandson loves to use his Playstation on it . The picture quality with the fast refresh rate makes it perfect for gaming. What I was surprised me was the sound system. With my previous tv I had a Zvox sound bar to bring out the speech so that I could understand what was being said. The quality of the sound system is awesome. I haven't had to hook up the sound bar.

Simply amazing! I upgraded from an older smaller LG OLED to this one. The jump in speed and picture quality is noticeable. I love it! It's great for my PS5 and I love watching movies on it. In this price range, you should just go LG. I can't speak for Vizio, but as far as Sony OLED goes, I would get the LG because Sony uses Android TV. There's nothing wrong with Android TV. It works great and has a nice GUI, especially the newest builds. The reason I would steer clear of Sony is they don't update their TV's, so as Android TV gets more secure and more streamlined, you'll be stuck with whatever ancient unsecure version it shipped with, or if you're lucky you might get a version update. LG will update WebOS. I have a 2016 OLED that still gets updates. It doesn't have the latest interface, but it still gets updated. TV's are unlike phones and a lot of other hardware these companies make. People keep them longer, so firmware updates should be heavily considered when spending this kind of money on one. I have this along with a PS5 and Nakamichi 7.2.4 soundbar system. I'm extremely satisfied! I would highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market and is looking for the best TV for the money. There's hardly any 4K content out there, so don't fall for the 8K/future proof jargon. The big money Disney's, NBC's, CBS's, AMC's, etc. are not going to start making 8K content. They barely make any 4K content. Hold out for another 10-15 years on 8K. 4K has been around for many years and we still get our content at 720p through our TV providers. Sure, I get a couple 4K football games, but that's it. Just buy it, you won't regret it!

I couldn't bring my TV with me when I moved so I decided to try an LG OLED after having a Samsung QLED prior. The Samsung QLED had Freesync on it, but it was prone to constant issues. The Freesync option enabled on that TV would make the screen go black every 15 minutes or so. It made the TV literally unusable with that option enabled and Samsung couldn't be bothered to fix the issue. On the forums you can find TONS of people with the same issue and Samsung couldn't care less. So this is why I decided to try an LG next, and WOW OLED is amazing! I had no idea the level of detail and difference that an OLED makes. Anything you do on this TV just pops and looks awesome. Games have an extra level of detail you don't see on regular TVs. Not to mention the Gsync option on the LG ACTUALLY WORKS and it's 120HZ. There's no flickering or the picture going out randomly the LG so far in my gameplay. LG also seems to update the TV pretty regularly. I've got automatic updates turned on so I don't have to check them. The downside is with all smart tvs these days is that there's some level of ads on the main menu. This LG isn't as bad as my previous Samsung QLED however. I can keep wifi enabled on this new tv. Whereas the old Samsung tv the ads were intrusive and got in the way of normal tv function, so I had to keep wifi disabled. I made the mistake of turning on wifi one time and when it had internet access the menus became horrible. I had to actually factory reset that Samsung TV in order to get it to how it was prior.

Absolutely stunning television. Picture quality is amazing and the TV itself is gorgeous. The blacks are true blacks, when the TV goes to a black screen when changing inputs I cannot tell if it is even turned on. The base is also refined if you choose not to wall mount and makes cable management a breeze. It is also very sturdy, I have two kittens and no concerns with them walking by the TV. The best purchase that I have made for my new apartment.

Super excited about this tv…. Finally upgraded from a 1080p 55” LG to this one was a huge difference. Enjoying all the 4K cinema and able to experience higher end graphics and speed with my PS5. Have been impressed with the frequency of updates the OS gets, compared to my previous tv that didn’t get any updates or support. If you can afford the price difference to either go OLED vs Nanocell; it will be worth it.
