The sound on this TV will make you think you’re in a movie theater. With the AI mode it can help determine the best sound settings depending on what you’re doing too so you don’t have to switch back & forth between sound modes for movies & games. Also, If you got the new gen console like PS5 or Xbox Series X and want TRUE 4K gaming not native 4K? Get this TV. Yes it’s expensive, but best TV I’ve ever had!

I wanted to wait to write this review, but after a month of owning this TV I gotta say this is the best picture your going to find period, everything is stunning, the black levels are unmatched and will crush any other QLED panel, the only TV relativley similar is the Sony A80J but that will cost you over $2000. This Tv does everything you'd expect and more and doesn't dissapoint well worth the purchase I'd say.

Great picture overall and a fantastic value, but I really didn’t like the remote and how laggy the WebOS was. Compared to Google TV, Android TV, and even Tizen, this OS was by far the slowest and seemed to be unpolished in ways. Wasn’t a fan of the magic remote either, seemed to be gimmicky. If LG outsources the OS and keeps the remote simple, this TV would be on par with the A80J (the picture already is).

Upgraded from a C7. For gaming the game optimizer is amazing and significantly reduces input lag while giving a beautiful HDR picture. For movies it supports Dolby vision and the picture is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone considering OLED TV.

Looks great! Was a little deceived by the packaging. It come out the bottom so don’t open the top of the box. Oops.
Great options and clear picture. May require some advanced settings adjustments to the modes depending on your input devices to get the picture you like. But even the defaults look good.
I bought this primarily to use with my PS5. Games look great and no lag at all.

First OLED and I’m absolutely loving it. I was worried about brightness, but seriously can’t tell a difference from my old set. I’ve experienced no issues except the low profile doesn’t allow my sound bar to fit under without obstructing a small portion of the screen. Gaming on the ps4 has been beautiful. Hopefully I can snag a ps5 to pair with it.

Picture quality is amazing. As the first oled tv I’ve owned I couldn’t be happier with the black levels and tone of color. Like a lot of other reviews, I’m not too happy with the menu system, but it’s not enough to bring the level of quality or happiness with the product down. I get over that part really quickly as soon as I have something playing on the tv!

Can’t wait to get my hands on a PS5 to see gaming but so far, movies and videos have looked amazing. Love the design. Sound is pretty good as well as the updated interface and remote. Small issue that have is that it will randomly turn off/ glitch. But it’s not often. The big flaw that I see is it not having ESPN+. $2,500 TV and missing little things is not okay in my opinion. But other than that, it’s a perfect TV.

Purchased this tv after owning a 2020 Vizio P series always having issues with the VIZIO and my series X. After upgrading to the LG C1 my issues have have been 100% resolved the 120fps is flawlessly and Dolby vision gaming at 120 there is nothing like it! Tv is a bit scary to handle when wall hanging but as long as you have help not a problem! The OLED crystal clear picture blows every tv out there outta the water!

Best tv I have ever owned. its picture is gorgeous and the sound is very decent also. I don't feel the need for a sound bar. Best part is the ease of setup and the elegance of the user interface. it is quite large however and you will need two people to move it. but once it is in place you will never go back to a smaller tv.

Months and months of research led me to this TV. Make sure to calibrate your TV using rtings.com settings. OLED is a huge upgrade from your basic LED, LCD panels and you'll notice the difference immediately. I use it for streaming movies, TV shows, sports. I've heard it's the best gaming TV on the market (behind the C2) too.

I am stunned by the image quality, resources (like the remote control that works like a mouse), the performance, the sound. From my point of view, the only downside is the possibility of burn-in (along the years, it may be a problem depending on the type of use. Of course, I had a simple 65 LED TV before it, so it was an upgrade. You can find even better TVs but more expensive ones than it.

This really is a gorgeous tv. I think the transition between inputs or consoles being turned on could be slightly smoother and I wish the remote had light up buttons. For gaming, this tv is amazing and has great HDR and frame rate for consoles. The blacks are deep so you don’t have to worry about dark shadows looking grey. If you’re a gamer, I’d recommend this tv or the LG C2. The tv sound is pretty good and has an option to give it a “surround sound” feel which isn’t too bad. I usually use headphones for my gaming so I’m saving the tv sound for an actual speaker set up.

LG OLEDs are the best consumer displays on the market today, hands down. The picture quality is amazing and black colors / dark scenes look incredible even in daylight. Also, LG allows you to disable all the annoying advertising / data collection things that Samsung won't/

My Favorite TV Model

After having a 55” CX in my office for a year I was convinced to put a 65” C1 in my living room. This line of OLEDs is absolutely superior. The design and build is flawless and the new remote is a great improvement from last years. I only wish they would get rid of the dated magic remote feature. (Please LG, motion remotes are not magical anymore.) The picture quality is every bit as good as people say it is and the gaming features make it the go to model for any couch gamer. I am sad to say that I was not able to make this the permanent display in my living room as we have 12 windows and a ton of light pours in through them during the day. While bright scenes were fine we couldn’t help but notice ourselves sitting on the couch staring into a mirror during the dark scenes. I knew this would be a risk when buying but the quality of these TVs is so good I wanted to try it. If you are someone who is coming from a Samsung QLED and are thinking about replacing it with one of these models in a big room with a bunch of windows I would advise against it but I still love this model and only wish I had a better setting to place it in. We ended up going with the 65” Samsung QN90A in our situation. Coming from the QNQ80R I will say that this is the best QLED I have ever owned and is the best alternative to OLED that there is.

Great TV. I was torn between a Samsung QLED and LG OLED. went with my gut and paid a little more. I don’t ever see myself with a tv that isn’t an OLED in the future. Color and contrast is amazing. And True BLACK is a different experience. Get those curtains ready though if you’re watching during the day and your entertainment room has plenty of natural light flowing in.
