OLED TV! That’s all that needs to be said. If you are on the fence about buying an oled tv, do the research. You want the thing to look show room quality all the time? This is the tv. True blacks. Vibrant colors. Every pixel is individually lit. You simply cannot have the picture quality this tv produces with a standard panel.

I have been wanting this tv for YEARS now. My 65 in Samsung was about to die and needed an upgrade. I was originally looking at a 85 inch Sony purely for the size. But ended up getting the LG c1 65 inch. I couldn't be more happy with this tv. The picture is absolutely incredible. I am a HUGE movie nut and have a ton of blu-ray and 4K disks. Everything looks amazing on this tv. The best purchase i have made in years.

The picture on this OLED tv is amazing. I was frustrated at first due to the fact that there were no assembly instuctions for the TV stand as i do not have it on the wall. Stand assembly and attaching to the TV was difficult and would not recommend doing this without the help of a second person. Once i figured it out, it looks sleek and is very durable. The TV itself is very nice and everything you would expect from an LG product.

This TV was bought as a replacement for a 3 year old OLED that stopped working. It has an amazing picture and is somehow even thinner than our old one, which was already very thin. Setup was easy, although the picture does take a little tweaking to get the best out of it. The remote is also improved from our previous LG. It was able to determine what devices were plugged in and even automatically programed itself to control our Xbox One.

Short version - if I would have known how bad webOS and the customization options are on this TV, especially considering the price, I would have gone with a different TV, regardless of how nice the picture is. Long version: Was really excited about getting this TV after seeing it in store and talking to some of the sales reps, but as someone who is moving from a Roku setup via a TCL, it feels absolutely bonkers how bad the OS and settings are on this, moderately expensive, TV. webOS minimizes the apps you need to use and instead just HAMMERS you with ads and suggestions from streaming services you don't have access to. You have to turn off all sorts of "options" to limit the amount of content they throw at you, and they use prime screen real-estate to try and make you sign-in with your LG account. If you have a kid who can see the TV, get ready to tell them, "No honey, I'm sorry we can't watch that." Or as my wife put it, "This system is just set up to make you buy things." LG's app offering are far and away worse than some of the other TV service/operating systems. No PBS Kids, no Adult Swim, and the list goes on. The "free" channels they offer are also way less interesting than other services. I can't stress enough how ugly and unintuitive webOS is!!! Beyond webOS, the menus/settings are equally as frustration. Specifcally, the lack of customization in the settings is mind boggling. You'll get a lovely "art galley" style screen-saver, but there will be a hideous floating "No input" message blocking it, and no way to remove it. You can't set a default "starting input" when the TV turns on, so you might want to watch TV or a streaming service, but if you turned your device off while using a game console, you'll turn your TV on, only to have your game console boot up instead, then you'll have to turn it off, navigate away, before you can watch a preferred channel/input. In the end, I feel like a very, very, very poor user experience doesn't make up for the hardware features (AND PRICE!!!) of this TV.
